We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Home is well stocked with all essentials and has gigabit internet. *Please note, Treasure Lake just finished a dredging project. Guests will be able to access Bimini Beach Mon-Thurs while Treasure Lake refills.

Welcome to my fabulous brand new Amish made cabin in the woods of the Allegheny Mts. alongside the river. Rest and hide from life's problems in fresh air and sunshine. Canoe and kayak rentals available nearby or bring your own and take them out on my riverfront property. Walk or ride your bike on the rails to trails 3 mile walkway to Foxburg or go much further on other trails in Emlenton. Explore my 39 acres of woods with deer, fox, wild turkeys, bear, etc. Explore the four old logging paths.

The cabin is located on 650 acres of privately owned forest accessing the Clarion River and the North Country Hiking Trail, minutes from downtown, Clarion. Take a few steps out the door and trek the North Country Trail along gentle pathways or exert a little more energy to see the Scenic Loops. Next, cool down on your dock on the Clarion River Lake. Swim, fish ,kayak, boat or just relax in the sun. Finish the day dining on he River Overlook deck, the campfire, or a fine local restaurant.

Walking and biking trails at the end of the gravel driveway. Enjoy nature's sights and sounds while relaxing on the riverfront deck , roasting marshmallows over the firepit, or lounging on the bench , just steps from the water’s edge. There is a dock for those who want to be right on the river.

River Ridge Camp

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy water front views along the Clarion River. This house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps 6 six people. Spacious deck for gathering, and wild life watching. Fire pit area to enjoy cookouts while taking in the great scenery. Walk in water access from the shared dock, so bring your kayaks or canoes. If you have a boat you can use the Toby boat launch. Parking is right next to the house.

The Goldfinch Cottage at The Pier, Canadohta Lake

The Goldfinch Cottage is located at the foot of Canadohta Lake, Pennsylvania’s second-largest natural lake with nearly three miles of shoreline. Activities include fishing, birdwatching, minigolf, roller rink, parks, swimming, pontoon, kayaks, and paddle boards. There are four other adjacent cabins which makes this a great location for family gatherings and celebrations. Visit us!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have great access to canoeing, Stand up Paddle boarding, and fishing with amazing views of the Allegheny River. If you are adventurous a rails to trials bike trail is directly across the River. 20 minutes will get you to the Foxburgh INN. A wonderful restaurant on the Allegheny river with outdoor dining and great food.
