We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

A wonderful stay to enjoy as a couple and in an ideal environment for hiking routes. The little house has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. It will be the first option if we decide to come back in the Jerte area.

Great place in beautiful surroundings. Everything we needed for a 1 night stay. There are steps and low ceiling heights in places may be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

We can’t say enough about how magical our stay was. The unit is adorable and so unique. We loved the setting- the vineyards, the birds. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The sunset was glorious. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. There is only one air conditioner in one bedroom, which in conjunction with a fan did a reasonable job of keeping the house cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is fine for light cooking.

The stay has been great. The place like all Las Hurdes is a great place. The house is very nice. Spacious, clean, comfortable and an absolute silence to rest. If the opportunity arises, we'll be back for sure.

Very nice house with everything we needed. We had a great family weekend. The village is very friendly and full of life. We love it. Paula welcomed us very well and was always available.

Our stay was perfect. Teresa and Jorge are wonderful hosts, who have pampered us throughout our stay. They are always available and looking to satisfy any wishes or needs we may have. The house is really unique and special, full of history and beautiful decoration, antiques and exquisite details. Children and adults have been so comfortable with the pool, the weather, the barbecue, the outdoor furniture,... that we have enjoyed the house more than the obligatory tourist visits to the city and the area. 100% Recommended

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! Juana's place is ideal for those looking to visit the picturesque village of La Alverca, as it is very close, allowing you to go out to the village on foot. Despite being so close, we feel in a perfectly private and charming place in a corner of nature and tranquility. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area or just spend a few days in the middle of nature!

We had a wonderful stay at José and Anabela's property in Armamar. The hosts were incredibly nice, responsive, and always willing to help. The property itself was private and offered a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.
