We enjoyed staying with family to visit my brother who lives close by. The house was comfortable and was perfect for having a nice dinner, the kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials! We are sad we had to leave early to escape getting caught by the hurricane but we would definitely visit again! Hendrick is an attentive host and was amazing at answering any questions we had about our stay!

It was our first trip to Florida for a month. The place was everything it said and more. From the beautiful home, beautiful backyard with pool, hot tub and soaker tub I felt like I was at a spa. The backyard was so private. We had bikes to use and we did take advantage. We rode our bikes to the main square several times. Jennifer was very pleasant and friendly. She responded to my questions/ comments in a very efficient manner. I would recommend the place. Give a 5 star+++

Excellent house. I come to the area once a year to visit family, has been one of the better experiences. House well decorated and cozy. Made plenty use of the heated pool. Chris was ready to help out thru whole process. Would definitely book again.

We had a great stay! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed to cook. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and we loved that we could rent a grill. The location was super convenient—just a short drive to the springs. Would definitely come back!

The reservation, check-in and check-out process was simple. The staff was very friendly and made recommendations for shopping and restaurants. The amenities of the home were just as described in the listing and photos. The home was very clean and stocked with 'necessities', shampoo, soap, kitchen supplies, extra linens, etc. When the pool pump stopped working Thursday evening, Jessica arrived at the property within 10 minutes to make the repairs. Although we never received additional communication from Chris after check-in, we would definitely rent another unit from Chris.

I believe this is our 7th year staying at the Coastal Cracker House. Great host and accommodations every year.

For nature lovers, ornithologist, fishermen…..this location is amazing. We kayaked and saw so many manatees in all the coves. The view is absolutely stunning! The downstairs smells very musty. This house is perfect for sleeping 3-4 guests. We really loved our stay!

My husband and I were in need of a quick getaway. We found Donna's place and knew this was exactly what we were looking for. It was in close proximity of Rainbow Springs (where we wanted to visit) and was pet friendly. The house was clean (all hardwood/tile flooring), spacious (open floor plan), nicely decorated, furniture in great condition & comfortable, fenced in yard for the pups, on the river, and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the quiet evenings out back on the deck & in the screened in porch and the pups loved exploring the yard. We cooked breakfast & lunch at the home and explored the town for dinner. We did not get to use the kayaks or bikes but loved that they were available. Donna answered all my questions and was very accommodating to my dates. I would definitely book this home again and recommend to others! Thank you!

We loved our stay! First time in the area and we hope to visit again! Marni’s place was super clean and very comfortable. The bed was awesome! We slept great. We enjoyed kayaking and visiting all the cool restaurants in Homosassa. It was a great vacay for my husband and myself.

The pictures don’t do justice for how cozy and peaceful this hidden gem is, and Blackwater Restaurant being within walking distance is a huge plus! We will definitely be back!

The location was beautiful, serene, and peaceful. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood directly on the Withlacoochie River. The outdoor space on the river is just as described and shown in the listing. It is private and there was hardly any river traffic. The deck is very large with ample seating for an outdoor meal or just to sit and watch the river or read in the outdoors. There were many mullet jumping in the river and I saw a couple alligators and a large manatee. There are many different birds outside too. It is a wonderful place if you're looking for some Florida nature in a peaceful setting. The access to kayaks and bikes was nice. The home is also very close to nature preserves, parks, and springs in the area.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Tradewinds Homosassa on the river during the July 4th weekend! This place exceeded all my expectations in every way. The location is breathtaking, with stunning river views that provided a serene and relaxing backdrop for our holiday. One of the standout features was the docking availability. It was incredibly convenient to have our watercraft right there, ready for spontaneous trips on the water. The friendly people we encountered made the experience even more enjoyable, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place. The accommodation itself was perfect for our needs. It was spacious enough to comfortably host our family and friends for dinner. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary amenities, and the grill was a great addition for our outdoor cooking sessions. We had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals and enjoy them together in this picturesque setting. I highly recommend Tradewinds Homosassa.

We booked the Flamingo House with Gale and Teri for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Quiet location within 3-5 mins of a dozen restaurants, activities, sights to see, and stores for essentials. They left a great list of reccomendations for the area and the house was super clean and beautiful. Plenty of space for a whole family and the screened in pool was the icing on the cake. We were able to go do things we wanted and then come back and relax in the sun by the pool and I dont think we ever even saw a neighbor all week. The wife and I have already decided if we can take another trip to Crystal River and surrounding area we will be returning to the Flamingo House!

The pool can be heated which makes for comfortable swimming year round. The home was comfortable and had all the necessities to cook and check out is simple and easy. I had a great stay and the hosts are super nice and helpful!

Very nice home, and an amazing pool with spa. Had an issue with the air conditioner, but Chris responded immediately, and had someone out to fix it ASAP. Well worth the money, and highly recommend for a group of six (which is what we had).

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was very clean and we really enjoyed the pool. Chris was an excellent host and very helpful and responsive. It was also very close to the spring which is so beautiful. I would absolutely recommend staying here. I will most definitely be looking into coming back to stay here. There are so many things to do in the area.

Lovely clean comfortable home. The pool is huge, clean and amazing. In the morning birds sing to wake you up. Our favorite thing was watching the antics of the sand hill cranes which are everywhere. The town of Inverness had an amazing park where you can walk boardwalks and see alligators. The hosts are kind and helpful but also respect your privacy. I would definitely go there again.
