Christi kirk the owner was absolutely amazing!!!! You will feel right at home she has a amazing property and takes beautiful care of her homes. The house sets on a beautiful lake and has a hot tub out on the deck. We can not wait to come back and visit

Corinna is very friendly and outgoing. She is more than happy to recommend activities and restaurants. She has thought of everything that someone would need or want and then goes ABOVE that. (I LOVED the heated toilet seat!) Everything is as represented in the pics and is in pristine condition. We were here for 4 nights during a get-away to see the area and visit with an elderly uncle. We enjoyed the hot tub and took the paddleboat out. I wish we would have stayed longer to have more time to enjoy hanging out at the house. I hope to come back to La Casita soon.

The home is located in a very peaceful area. We enjoyed sitting in the screen room overlooking the canal and looking for various wildlife and being able to fish the canal. You will be a few miles “off the path”, so be prepared to drive a few miles if you need restaurants or any shopping, but, for us, that was the appeal - and it did not disappoint.

2nd visit and just as good as the 1st visit. Very well appointed, with everything needed for a nice visit. Animals on farm are just a bonus for hours of enjoyment.

We stayed here to be close to family for Christmas. Host decorated the outside for Christmas which was nice. Home was cozy and had everything we needed and more. Host was responsive, kind, and made sure we were comfortable. Very good experience. Will book again!

A very peaceful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the amazing views of the water and wildlife. Ozzy the peacock greeted us every morning. Kathleen was very helpful and quick to respond to our inquiries. 👍 👍

We are so happy we chose Dardens cabin as our spot to reset and relax. We work a lot and rarely get a chance to take time for ourselves and we were definitely due. My favorite part was being able to sit in the screened in patio, read a book and enjoy the beautiful nature outside while my boyfriend cooked on the grill. This place did exactly what we needed it to do and would definitely come back again.

A cute cottage. We felt comfortable and safe. The keurig and coffee pods were a nice touch. We enjoyed our coffee on the screened back porch.

Just what we needed to stay a few nights in the area wothout having to stay in a hotel. It is named "camp" for a reason but really met the needs for the two of us. Rustic but clean with all the amenities you need to feel at home. We really enjoyed using the charcoal grill in the evening for supper after our outings. Everything was comfortable and clean and in great working condition. So close to the parks, creeks, etc. Or lovely just to sit out on the dock listening to the birds. I'd recommend for 2-3 people or a small family. 👍

Our 2nd one month stay at this lovely cottage. It's an excellent location on a channel to access Lake Henderson. Perfect for bass fishing. The home is clean and comfortable. It's spacious and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is organized and well stocked . We enjoyed the patio, particularly the newly installed gazebo which provided shade during sunny days. The view from the patio is relaxing and perfect for sunrises. Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's an easy 3 mile ride down 44 sidewalk to get to the Withlachoochee Bike Trail. Spent many hours fishing. Every Monday we'd make the the 45 minute drive to the Webster Flea Market (excellent stop for produce) then stop for lunch at Big Bass Grill on Lake Panasoffkee. Easy drive to Winn Dixie. Would absoulutely stay again,

This was a wonderful experience. Everything was just like the description. I loved the privacy, fenced back yard and private dock to enjoy the sunsets and have our morning coffee!

Shannon’s place was so cozy!! It was so clean and decorated so well. The location was close to restaurants and being right on the canal was so convenient. We were able to paddle Monkey Island. Shannon was a phenomenal host. She made sure we were taken care of and was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

I booked Christine’s place for me and my friend to unplug from our busy lives for a couple of days. The beautiful lake, abundant wildlife, peaceful back porch and easy kayak launch were all we needed to recharge. We would love to visit again!

House was exactly as described. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful, right on the river. Everything was clean, although the floor in the bedroom was a bit dirty with dust bunnies and dirt. Sam went out of his way to get new furniture for the screened in porch, super comfy. We ate every meal out there listening to the birds, watching the fish jumping, and enjoying our visit from a Blue Heron. We would definitely come back if we were ever in the area.

I don't know where to begin! This home is perfect for a getaway. It's cute, comfortable, in a nice quiet neighborhood and has the private dock. We were there almost two weeks and I could have stayed longer. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch and out on the dock to do some fishing and just take in the local nature. Julie made recommendations on things to do in the area. Inverness is a very nice little city with about anything you can think of to do, not to mention the things to do within 30-60 mins. My bottom line is I highly recommend staying here! I bet you'll feel just like we did when we left.. sad it was time to go. But we will be back! :) Five star host!

Very clean home with a great location I would highly recommend

We had a great time at the lake! The house was very clean and check in/check out was simple. Norma and Allen are great hosts and we felt right at home. We enjoyed the lake and sitting on the back porch and dock was so relaxing. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Charming and comfortable. Lots of attention to detail in the tasteful decorating. Has every convenience needed for a pleasant stay. Great location for walking to the town center. Stacey was very responsive to my special needs. Excellent host and lovely property. Surely will stay again when in town.

We were looking for a quiet get away and we got what we were looking for!!! Seclusion and quiet!!!! Saturday was a little loud with the summers launching and loading in the empty lot next door but it was short and brief, so it didn’t bother us.
