Family-friendly holiday rentals in Cisternino

The place is super cute. We had terrible rain storms while we were there so we stayed in and cooked and used the spa. The temps outside were very cold so it took a while to get heated but once heated it was a cozy lovely stay. We will return in the summer.

Everything was fantastic, and the apartment and the location and the hosts, we had delicious gifts, the beds were very comfortable, it's cozy and has everything we needed, we will come back again if we are visiting Bari again!

We had a wonderful time at Stefano's place with our family of 5. The property and home are beautiful. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard. There is ample patio space for dining or relaxing. We went off season and didn't use the pool but it looks wonderful for the summer. The old stone part of the house has great character. The hot tub is a great way to relax. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. It's a short 10 minute drive to Ostuni, which has plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to see. We greatly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting the area.

We had a lovely stay at Manuela's. She is a very welcoming person who receives in her peaceful and charming place. The place is representative of what an Airbnb rental should be, i.e. welcome, small touches that facilitate arrival, daily presence and personalized, authentic home. Manuella communicates very well in French: constructive exchanges. Always good advice, Manuela also knows how to be discreet in this accommodation where the houses are glued and share common spaces. The location is ideal for visiting Matera and the coast near Bari by car. We 100% recommend Manuela

Marilena's trullo was spectacular! and the pool area was such an added bonus after a hot day! The breakfast option was great, lots of choice and Marilena asking if we wanted to change anything. She also had great recommendations for dinner and options for a wet day excursion. We managed to check-in early and enjoy more time in Alberobello. The trullo and surroundings were so clean and well maintained that we just wished that we had more than three nights before returning home. A great host and a fabulous stay, can't recommend it enough.

This place is like a time capsule 100 years back. Set right on the beach, amazing property with great views of the sea. Would definitely stay here again. Only problem was that WiFi was not working as internet lines were down and our phone reception was minimal too, so we had hard time connecting with friends/family or even things like streaming music and planning our trips to surrounding towns. The host is great and very responsive.

Great place to stay, 7-10 minutes walk to the centre and easy parking. Three flights of stairs as apartment at the top, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Overall great stay and would recommend.

A fantastic stay at Loredana’s home. The area is peaceful and within the historic center. Loredana is a lovely person and had thought of everything when it came to details within the home. She was responsive and offered recommendations for places to eat. The home is pristine and contains everything you need. We are upset that we weren’t spending more than a night there. We travelled with our 7 month old baby and Loredana accommodated him perfectly. The toys, feeding equipment and breakfast for our little one were an added bonus. If we come back to MF, we will only stay with Loredana. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Loredana’s home to friends and family.

Warm welcome by Antonietta and Pasquale. Delicious welcome meal and good local bottle. Remote communication with Giuseppe is easy. Beautiful trullo in the middle of nature, very quiet, just what we were looking for. Nothing is missing in terms of interior and exterior equipment. Impeccable cleanliness. Unfortunately we couldn't see the Milky Way, the moon was too bright. Proximity to Martina Franca. Only small downside: our GPS had a little trouble finding it despite the precise directions. We asked for directions and found our way.

Available, attentive and very kind host! Authentic accommodation in a very good location in the heart of the historic center, near shops and restaurants. It's alive! And we still enjoy the calm in this little alley. A successful stay in Puglia, a beautiful region!

Ive just spent 3 nights staying at Donatos studio in Cisternino. Donato was a great communicator and the location is perfect, right in the middle of the old town of Cisternino. I would definately stay there again. Thanks Donato!

What a great week we had at Graziana&Leonardo! A beautiful traditional trullo with all comforts: kitchen, good beds, large bathroom with a wonderful shower, everything very clean, a cozy patio where it was good to stay for breakfast and in the evening for a glass of wine with tasty snacks! Also completely fell in love with the cats that came to greet us every day. The trullo is wonderfully quiet in the Itria Valley, surrounded by olive trees, so relaxed. There is a lot to do nearby, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, Tarente … We ran out of time, it would have been better to book for two weeks! We were spoiled with delicious breakfasts, we could ask questions, so we got a great tip for a wine tasting nearby. In short, we can recommend this hospitable place to everyone and will certainly pass it on to everyone in our area! Thank you Graziana&Leonardo!

Staying with Claudio and Daniela was a great experience. We spent a few nights there as a family and enjoyed the beauty and comfort of this beautiful accommodation, as well as the discretion and kindness of our hosts. Area is beautiful. We only have one regret, that we didn't stay longer. We'll definitely stay there again!

We had a dream stay at Cinzia and Dominico's. We particularly appreciated their warm welcome and their human qualities. We recommend this cottage ideally located in the heart of Puglia JP TROTIN

I stayed here with my husband, our babysitter, and two small children ages four and two. We were very comfortable. Everything that we needed was there. It is very central to many areas and very beautiful. I would stay here again if we came back. I highly recommend.

This was my family’s first time in Puglia. We were in Italy to celebrate my husband’s 50th. Our trip started in Florence, then Rome, and finally Cisternino. The trullo was an amazing part of our stay. A super low-key, chill, RELAXING final destination with ample opportunities to explore if you rent a car, which is a must. We visited Locorotondo, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, and even went to Matera, which is the 3rd oldest city in human history. Being so centrally located made all this travel easy. Our 8-year-old daughter adored the unique experience of staying in a Trullo and loved the freedom of roaming the rural property. We live in Brooklyn, NY so being in the countryside was such a treat. And even though it was winter we were blessed with great weather 50degrees farenheit every day. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to in the future! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Fabio’s ! The appartement is beautiful and well equipped. The place is very peaceful and private. the huge swimming pool is just the cherry of top of the cake ! It’s super well located , you have so much to visit within an hour drive. Fabio and Dorit gave us many tips on restaurants, nice beaches and places to visit. They were super helpful all along our stay and we even had some local pastries dropped at our door when we woke up. If you still hesitate, just go for it I assure you , you won’t regret ! We will definitely come back :)

We stayed 4 nights in the Petra trullo. We were very well received by Alessandro and Simona. They are lovely and caring hosts. The trullo is very nice, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The outdoor spaces are well maintained and flowered. The outdoor facilities with the swimming pool invite us to relax. 😎😍 The quiet, rural location is ideal for visiting the surrounding area. We had a great stay, we recommend this charming and authentic place. Bonus for those who love animals, there are cats and Frieda who watches over the property. 😉Thanks again to Simona and Alessandro

Our stay at Borgo Marietta in the trullo casera remains our best experience of all the countries we have made! The place has been renovated respecting the family tradition and the rendering is beautiful. The trullo is even bigger and more beautiful than the pictures, it is fresh and very clean. The pool that is accessible from the terrace is a haven of peace where you can share kindly with the other hosts. It is very well placed to visit the villages of Puglia. We had a doubt about the location in the middle of the activity area but we were quickly reassured because it does not hinder the beauty of the Borgo. A supermarket is a 2-minute walk away which is very convenient! In short, we don't see any flaws for this beautiful place run by very friendly people. Go there with your eyes closed…

This is a simply wonderful find. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully restored and designed. The surroundings have the same attention to design and detail. The location is peaceful yet is no more than 30 min from a host of magnificent towns and coast. Enza and Mariano were so warm, welcoming and helpful. Cannt wait to come back.

Very nice location, in the hilly countryside. Very quiet environment. Spacious house, very nice, nicely renovated. Several terraces and a beautiful pool. It was really was a very pleasant stay, especially since we were lucky enough to be alone. Close to the beautiful cities of Martina Franca and Ostuni. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and responsive.

Elisabetta’s trullo is a memorable place, with the history of the property on display almost like a museum. The grounds are spacious with organic fruit waiting to be picked. The pool area is amazing & the pool has a deep end & diving board which is quite rare bonus. There are many towns of cultural significance just a short drive away. Our only regret is that we only stayed for a week.

Raffaella’s trullo was a unique experience, a truly magical place. From the pictures it’s impossible to realise just how wonderful the houses and the surroundings really are. We are in awe. Thank you so much for this amazing experience, Raffaella!
