If I could give a 10 star recommendation I certainly would! everything about this Casa is Class, clean comfortable and welcoming… everything about it is screams HOME to us. So much so that we are going to come back next year for two weeks instead of 10 days. The on-site Host Bathurst, was a delight and helpful., and very knowledgeable about the area. He gets the ten star rating also🌟

Roxana is an excellent host, from before arriving she was clear, friendly and I try to make everything easier, she was very attentive and quick responses. He welcomed us with some coconuts 🥥 that are appreciated 🙏🏼 in terms of the house has a perfect sea view, the terrace and pool are very nice to spend hours, the beds are comfortable and the house was very clean. We'll definitely be back, thank you Roxana for everything !!

Fernanda is an excellent host, nice and attentive, and the photos don't do justice to how wonderful the house is. It is very well located, where you feel you will find peace. It is beautiful, and the location is excellent. My daughter enjoys it very much. It's worth the cost, and Fer's attention. The house is new and every detail was very well thought out. It gives peace and tranquility and above all security. I would definitely stay there again, and I would recommend it 100%

The place is well located on a walking distance to Paseo Montejo. There is a lot to do in this specific spot. Our host has everything ready for a wonderful stay.

Elena was incredibly kind and responsive. If there was a rating above super host Elena would definitely get it. The home is warm and inviting.

The house is super nice, the host was always very kind and solved a problem as quickly as he could. The location is quite good, you can walk to the beach and there are gas stations, supermarkets, etc. nearby

Benoit is an excellent host and very kind. He sent us the precise instructions and with these we arrived and entered the house super easily. He was attentive and answered any questions we had. A very nice house, inside a private one with security, but what we loved was the tranquility, silence and peace. We slept super well, we rested like never before. The house is very comfortable, with everything you need to spend a few days of total rest. A very comfortable TV room, the bed in the room is delicious and the bathroom is a spa!! A large pool and garden, we & our dogs enjoy it very much. Highly recommended for spending a few days outside the city, recharging batteries, resting and sleeping deliciously! Felt like at home, big spaces, very good AC considering extreme hot weather outside. A lot of equipment in the kitchen was a plus. 3 full bathrooms were great. Love the entrance hall that continued to a living room and then to kitchen. Overall, my family felt great in this house, and also it was a 5-15 min walking distance to many great restaurants, supermarket, pharmacies, etc. 6 min drive to Walmart as well. Casa Estrella highly recommended.Thank you!!

Very cool, restored old house. Nice little pool in a private, walled backyard. Loved the airy living room and courtyard, where there is a hammock and a fountain. Fans and ACs in all the rooms work great. All the rooms have bathrooms.

This is our third trip to Janet's home. The pool is outstanding. We used the outside during most of the trip and spent many hours in the very private pool. The home is generously sized and the host was very responsive and was helpful with a solution when we asked for help twice. Groceries and restaurants were within a few blocks walk. We recommend this place for others and will definitely be back!

The backyard area of this house is amazing. Our children enjoyed playing in the pool (which had different levels for sitting in the water when it was hot, but also deeper areas for my kids to dive for pool toys!), and my daughter enjoyed the swings. There was a nice lounging area to sit as well. The main bed is in in the only “shared space”/dining room, so that’s something to be aware of, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The kitchen was small and we didn’t cook there; we ate most meals at a restaurant or brought back food. Kikeil is sleepy (no real town/bars/restaurants) but as long as you are OK with that, you are a short 30 minute drive to Merida or Progreso beach. David was a great host: responsive and helpful. Thank you for hosting our family! We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Great place & location

It's really one of the best places I've stayed in, the sunset of the place doesn't do justice to the photos, it's wonderful! My family had an incredible time! The house is fully habitable has absolutely everything you need for your stay and the administrator was always super friendly and communicated frequently. Although there is a tenant in the back space, we never had any problem, we didn't really notice his presence. Dulce, thank you very much for this wonderful space, we will definitely return soon.

Judith is a very responsive host and answered right away. She brought us extra towels we asked for the same day. The house was very comfortable and had all the listed amenities. We had a great stay and recommend it! Also very close to all the restaurants and shopping in Chelem.

The photos do not do the house justice! yes, it is a rustic but divine house!! excellent decor, safe place to sleep, the ocean front pool area is fabulous. We will definitely return. It's worth mentioning that it looks like they just had full maintenance on the house because it looked freshly painted.

In general, the house is very good, clean and spacious, the pool is very clean and perfect for relaxing, although the house is open, it is a very safe and quiet area. There was a problem with the light and the refrigerator and Naim fixed it very quickly. Although there is not much to do in the area, about 10-15 minutes by car you can find more tourist activities. The only thing I didn't like very much is that the person who cleans the house came in without telling us beforehand.

I almost hate to write this review for fear that everyone will immediately recognize the beauty of this home and its location and look to book it--which would spoil my future plans to come back!!! In all seriousness, Sylvain's house is a treasure. It is beautiful inside-- I loved the living room kitchen area. The master bedroom and bath are fantastic. And the pool is actually a real pool (not a tiny square box that is dug into the ground and called a pool so that an owner can check the pool box on the listing). The pool is right off of the main living quarters and is spacious with ample deck and chairs to lounge if that is your preference. But the real beauty is the ocean--unbelievably pristine beach, completely secluded, gorgeous waters, just perfect. And the house is right there--on the beach, less than a stone's throw away. It was captivating and beautiful. I do recommend arriving to check in during daylight. It is difficult to find the house at night because there is no light.

Excellent location and the facilities are good

The house is nice but lacks maintenance, the upstairs bathroom has no door and it is difficult when you go as a family. The downstairs bathroom has no toilet. The doors of the rooms do not close or open well, as well as the gates. The curtains are worn. The location of the place is very good, the beach is incredible.

Excellent place to rest, our pets were happy, the place matches the photos, everything clean and tidy, the hostess very attentive, quiet and safe area. My family felt at home since it was a long stay, we would definitely return without a doubt.

We stayed at María's place for 14 days in May and really enjoyed it. María was helpful from the start and always available when needed—whether picking up Amazon deliveries while we were out or resolving internet issues quickly. When I reported an unstable connection, she had a technician there within 1–2 hours. She even invited us for complimentary coffee to her María & Montejo café, so I could keep working while it was being fixed—such a thoughtful touch. The apartment has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, bike, easy parking in front, and great pool! We were initially worried about mosquitos (as mentioned in other reviews), but we didn’t see any! The air conditioning worked so well we barely noticed the 39°C heat outside. Also, the María & Montejo café right by the entrance serves excellent coffee and sweet breads—don’t miss the tiramisu with a fresh shot of espresso!
