The house with boat dock and hot/cold outdoor shower is just 100 meters from West Galveston Bay, easily accessed by the canal. Easy 1000 meters walk/drive to the beach (parking available). Fishing is fantastic in this area even from the dock. 25 minute drive to city of Galveston. The neighborhood has a full service marina, restaurant and bar.

Loved our stay at Brandon’s home! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Beach Access 4. The house was perfect for our families and had almost everything we needed. We especially appreciated the outdoor patio and shower after long beach days. Being right on the bay gave the guys something fun to do in the evenings, which was a great bonus. We did run out of toilet paper, but it wasn’t a big deal—we just picked some up in town. If you’re familiar with Surfside, you’ll know the entry area can get crowded, so trust me—this quieter side of the beach is where you want to be. We love it here, and the proximity to the water is a huge plus. The sleeping arrangements worked out well too—we just moved a few pillows from the primary bedroom to where the kids were on the futons. We take this family trip every summer, and it’s very likely we’ll be back. Thanks again, Brandon, for sharing your home with us!

We absolutely loved this place. The host was extremely helpful and nice. We booked their place last minute due to some unforeseen circumstances from another Airbnb nearby. They were very responsive and understanding of our situation. They helped us in different ways, that alone tells you how great these people are. The place was stunning and absolutely beautiful. The house was very clean and you can tell they take pride on what they are offering their guest. Location is amazing, you are walking distance to the beach or even a 15 second drive to the beach. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, it felt very comfortable. Thank you so much for helping us out and being such amazing people. We 100% recommend this beautiful place because of the house, and because of the people you are renting it from. Thank you!!!

Cold Pass Cottage - 3BR, Hot Tub, Beach Views

I love this area and neighborhood, we stayed here last year in a different house. The house is in reasonable walking distance to a more private beach, something I really like. Pretty good assortment of kitchen/cooking supplies. We also appreciated the coffee machine options (side note* if you prefer sugar for your coffee, bring it). The small liquid creamers & sweet n low provided. They provide beach towels. All the rooms had good beds & bedding. Unless I missed it?..there was no cornhole or chairs at the glass table downstairs. The swings are fun but can easily flip, not for little ones. The fence was great to have with the dogs, but did have a couple broken rails where we wedged sticks in. Outdoor shower is great and the dog washing area w/ soap provided was perfect to clean the dogs after beach days. We had some problems during our stay but the owner was quick to resolve them, which is all you can ask for! Overall, nice stay, made great memories and would recommend.

We loved staying here! We had 7 adults and 1 toddler and it was a great house for us all. It was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The patio and downstairs areas were nice and breezy and it was so convenient having a golf cart to use! Beach access was easy and not crowded at all, and there was a community pool available too. Enjoyed our stay!

We had the best location and cleanest house for our Surfside Beach vacation. We were able to load up the truck with our beach stuff and drive just down the road to the beach and set up. It doesn’t get any better than that. The house had everything we needed from games to the ocean view and sounds were amazing. Ben was responsive with every request we had and he made our visit worry free. Thankful we found it and look forward to going back again!
