Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Christ Church

We had a wonderful stay. The place was tidy and had everything we need to enjoy our week. It was cozy and comfortable. It was very close to the beach and a bunch of places to eat. We walked everywhere so we lucked out with a great location. Our host was very friendly and responsive to our questions. I would definitely stay here again and hope to come back soon!

My family had another wonderful stay at the Palm Beach Condos. We have four kids, ages 6-18. The condo itself is very well-appointed. Plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, cups and all of those things. The AC works... really, the trouble is finding a setting that isn't too cold! Laundry works great. The pool is very large and though it is a communal pool, it never feels crowded. The beach to the left and to the right of the complex have lovely protected swimming areas where the waves are gentle, great for some easy shallow snorkeling. Down a bit farther is Drill Hall (surfer's beach) and the Hilton, where the waves are a bit bigger if that's your thing. The food nearby is super. Blush Cafe is our favorite. Jake's is great. There's a pizza place and an upscale Italian place as well. The little mini mart up the hill has all of the essentials and even has rotis if you go early enough. I can't say enough good things about the condo and Shannon. An absolute pleasure. A+.

Stunning location! Beautiful beach! Host was there to greet us and gave us a tour. Easy communication. No issues. Terrace was fantastic to have meals and hang out with gorgeous views of waves and overlooking lawn area, pools and hot tub with loungers. We loved our stay and would return. Nice boutique hotel nextdoor for drinks and meals out. Close to Gap for many restaurants! Many thanks to Lorna, house manager, for running to catch me to give me my forgotten coat before my Uber pulled away to the airport!

Great location near the Gap, very spacious apartment, great pool, incredibly flexible and friendly local host (Orissa) (the flexibility was much appreciated as we had four 2 and under!) - an overall great stay!

We had a great stay and the apartment is huge and immaculate. The sea was lovely. Our little girls loved the kayak and Netflix! Very much a home away from home, with everything catered for. Plenty of bin bags, toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets - all the small things that are often forgotten. We would recommend it. Our only issue was the noise from the Gap. If you are a party animal, this wouldn’t be a problem but we found the music, which is very loud when you’re on the balcony, and the noise from the main road, when you’re in the bedroom on that side of the building, really noisy. If you’re there to party though, this wouldn’t be an issue. We thought the location was great for exploring. We hired a car and went to Carlisle Beach, Bathsheba, Folkestone Beach and Oistins. Everywhere is drivable.

Shelly's place was wonderful and I felt like at home from the moment I arrived. I really enjoyed being able to arrange airport pickup with Shelly and she even took me on a small tour around the area to explain where everything is. The room is equipped with everything for a comfortable stay and guests have full access to the kitchen. Location is also excellent, in about 15mins walk you can reach St Lawrence Gap and the beach. It's even a shorter walk to the main road where you can catch ZR vans / buses to explore different parts of the island. I would highly recommend staying at Shelly's place!

This place was perfect. Walkable to everywhere in The Gap. Quick access to all the restaurants. 30 seconds walk to Dover Beach, ask for Charles for chairs/umbrellas. Try Daddy's or the Sand Dollar Cafe. Check out the Shepherd's pie at Paradise Pizza. Enough space for 4 people. Kitchen is well equipped. TV in the living room has an Android-TV hooked up so you can stream what you want. 5 minutes walk to the main road (H7) to take the bus or ZR to anywhere on the island. The cherry on top of this amazing rental is having access to the Gym and Pool at the Rostrevor Hotel. (8 minutes Walk) The Happy Hour prices at the Rostrevor pool bar are well worth it. Gym is functional and clean. This is a true gem!

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Reef. The deck and view were the best features! The condo was basically as described but the blankets thrown over the couch didn’t give a good first impression. The mattresses are very firm! Bathrooms are all nice, great water pressure! St. Lawrence Gap offers lots of great restaurants all a very short walk! The area is very safe with a security guard at the complex at night. There are abandoned buildings across the street but they don’t attract any crime or homelessness. The water access is dependent on the tides and the adjoining beach has some seaweed. This condo is on the south side of the island. It was sometimes pretty wavy! The west side of the island is much calmer. We enjoyed the area with so much in walking distance…just wanted to pass that info on so others can make an informed decision on where to stay! Jason was our contact and he was very helpful and attentive! He filled the bathtubs when there was a water main break.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this condo very much! our first time to Barbados so we were not sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. plenty of parking at this building. codes for all doors making for a safe environment. the condo itself was very much like the pictures with a few updates in person. the AC worked well when we used it. couch and bed were very comfortable. kitchen was well equipped. location is prime with restaurants in walking distance but also the ability to get around the island easily if you have a rental car or take the buses. we would not hesitate to stay here again next time we come to Barbados. thank you again!

We had an incredible stay! Beautiful place, better than the photos! Great pool for kids, awesome beach bar next door. Close to restaurants and the gap! Beautiful location and super clean. It had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Ronnie’s place was exactly as described. Clean, safe, convenient and great amenities. The unit was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and a beautiful Caribbean cross breeze through the main area of the unit. The pool was a nice alternative to the beach. Ronnie was flexible and responsive even offering an early check-in. We stayed for two weeks and the cleaning lady came mid stay to change the sheets and clean the apartment which was refreshing. I would highly recommend her place and will be staying again myself in the future.

This was a lovely condo with everything we could possibly need/want. Beautifully appointed with extremely well equipped kitchen. It was a very spacious and comfortable. The only complaint we had was the hard bed pillows. We recommend adding some feather bed pillows as an option to those who don't like hard & flat pillows. The property had an excellent security and was ideally situated on a beautiful white sand beach with two private pools. Many restaurants within walking distance and a small grocery store 5 min walk. Melissa, the housekeeping, came M,W, F and kept the condo spotless. The only issue we had was reaching the Alleyne concierge a couple of times via email because my email went to junk mail I recommend phoning if it's urgent. We had the property mgr, Chris contact info to we finally got in touch via him. Overall outstanding accommodation and much better value than a hotel. We will be back!!!

The location is ideal. Walkable to many restaurants. In April the ocean/beach is calm mid day but rougher with the wind in the morning and afternoon so beach access is not possible with kids. Very spacious and the plunge pool is big enough to enjoy with multiple people. Over 5 feet deep. The patio is great and views are impressive. Isaac was super accommodating, communicative and kind. We had a relaxing stay and would recommend to a family looking for a nice unit with good views and walkable to restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the views from the patio where we spent the morning drinking coffee and having breakfast. Location was close to good restaurants and the unit had plenty of space to accommodate our family of 5. The pool was a good size and perfect to take a late afternoon swim after an exploring the island (and was in the shade for the late afternoon). The location felt very secure with gated access to/from the beach, the street, and interior doors that were locked late in the evening to access the elevators. Parking spot is very narrow and was a bit tricky to navigate, but we made it work.

We loved our stay at Maisha’s! The apartment was very clean and equipped for anything we needed during our stay. We would definitely be staying again.

We had never visited Barbados before and we were not sure what to expect. I reached out to our host and asked for help getting from the airport to our Condo. We were a party of seven and he arranged transportation for us. There were 2 vehicles waiting for us when we exited the Airport doors. We had numerous bags that we had brought with us. The ride was reasonable, comfortable and air conditioned. Peter met us when we arrived at the Condo and answered all our questions about the home and the area. The Condo accommodated the seven of us well. The large balcony over looking the beach and the pools is amazing. We enjoyed the near by restaurant's, many to select from, in walking distance. The beach worked well for us. We rented lounge chairs on the beach every day near the beach bar. They serve low cost but great cocktails with or without alcohol. I always rent a car on vacation but this time a didn't. I never missed it. I highly recommend Peter Karl and his Condo! Pat Estep

Wow!! What an amazing stay! I didn’t want to leave. I stayed at this townhouse with my partner, 2 children (3 and 15month) and my mum. It was perfect! Spotlessly clean, easy walk to holetown, great swimming pool, the most beautiful property and location. Full of every amenities you could need. Cleo and Paul are fantastic hosts, always replied within an hour with any of my messages.

We had a wonderful stay at Julie's in March 2024. Julie was very helpful and responded quickly to any queries re local restaurants/how to work the toaster etc and also came to see us on the evening of our arrival! We hired Julie's car one day, drove to the East coast to see the surfers/different landscape, Barbados Animal Sanctuary, Gun Hill Signal Station and the next day swam with turtles. Locally, we used the RZ Reggae buses to get about which were great fun! The local beach at Worthing was about a 5 min walk; perfect for spotting turtles and going for a quick dip. A/C in each bedroom and plungepool was a godsend! My son used the well equipped gym (also with A/C) daily. It was great to have access to a bbq too - the local shop (Waitrose) was a 5 min walk away and, although expensive, was worth it! The accommodation itself was perfect for us 5 adults, very spacious, well-equipped and we would definitely return again!

We had a great stay with our two kids! The house is spacious and well located near supermarkets, a range of restaurants and cafes and also Rockley Beach. We hired a car and recommend asking for Becky’s details if you’re considering it - great friendly car hire at reasonable prices. Only things to be aware of are fact that rooms are quite bright in the mornings (no curtains or very effective blinds) and there is a fair bit of animal noise from local dogs and chickens! But we got used to that after the first couple of days and enjoyed the local neighbourhood atmosphere. Our kids loved seeing the chickens around and the mango and coconut trees opposite.

Carol’s home is located in an affluent neighborhood overlooking most of the other houses. It’s pretty secluded, it also has parking for at least 3 vehicles along with a spacious yard. The interior is very accommodating with several full bathrooms throughout. Kitchen and dining areas are spacious. I would definitely stay there again if need be.

We had a great trip to Barbados and loved staying at Ocean Mist. The villa is just as gorgeous as the pictures and the views of the ocean are incredible. We had 9 women on a girls trip and there was so much space for us to hangout. The air conditioning worked extremely well for a house as large as Ocean Mist. The pool is ginormous and there were some floaties to use. We loved the privacy of the location but it can be a bit hidden so ask your host for directions rather than having the taxi follow Google/Apple maps. Would definitely stay here again!

We spent a wonderful week here, enjoying Royal Westmoreland and exploring the surrounding area and coast. The accommodation was pristine, gardens beautiful, and communication excellent. Couldn't recommend it highly enough, and we'd love to return!

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My stay started by messaging the super-host Andrea who replied within seconds! The property itself was beautifully designed and decorated, with all the amenities and comforts of home & Spotless, better than the Hiltons on the island. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for by the wonderful host Andrea and she gave us a bottle of welcome wine! She went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing helpful tips and recommendations for local activities and dining and even contacts for a local cab, she made my stay as memorable as possible. One of my favourite parts was the outdoor space; The private Pool & Jacuzzi were the perfect spot to relax in the. sun. I spent many mornings sipping coffee and watching the sunrise, and even enjoyed a few sunset dinners. Overall, I cannot recommend this Airbnb and host Andrea enough. It truly exceeded all of my expectations. WILL BE BACK! :)

Wonderful oasis rather centrally located if you have a car and want to see all of the island. Serene, felt like home. We walked the 1.4 km to the main beach drag almost every night and tried out several local eateries—Roti Den, De Clay Oven, Mr. Vic’s, Cariba. Walking not for everyone but we enjoyed it. Host and property manager were both kind, helpful and responsive (although not always prompt—but we never needed a response promptly so it didn’t matter). We loved it here and would absolutely return. For those who relish AC, try have the mini-split systems in the bedrooms and it’s open air and fans in the rest of the house. I’m from Florida and coming from winter in Ohio so I didn’t mind at all, but some people might.
