Spacious apartment with fun extras (puzzle, yoga mat, etc.)! It was easy-to-find and well-stocked with supplies, including thoughtful items for our use. It was clean and comfortable; we didn't use the kitchen at all as it was a very quick stay. The hosts are cognizant of the noise from the train and highway, and provide earplugs, sound machines, blackout shades, a fan, etc., to help ensure guests can sleep well. The local recommendations were great. Downtown Oak Park is about a 10-minute drive; we appreciated the ability to walk 5 minutes to a nice café or restaurant.

My wife and I cannot stop talking about how relaxing our stay was. It's clear that Emma has really put such thought and heart into this listing. Seriously one of the best homes we have had the pleasure to stay in and it's so incredibly cozy and inviting. We are looking forward to many more future stays here!

I traveled to Chicago for work and had a nice three-day stay here. The Airbnb is in a great location, clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. I particularly enjoyed the small library!

We were 4 adult and 1 dog and we stayed at Matthew's place, everything went smooth and easy to feel at home, parking spot and great location of the house make us everything easier, it was so fast to get to the downtonw in lees than 20 minutes. Matthew was always responsive to all our questions, I definitely will search for this place to sray on my next trip to chicago.

We booked Son’s place for a 4-day business trip to Chicago. The house looks exactly like what he advised on the platform. We have total of 4 people, and the 4 bedrooms is just perfect for us all. We enjoyed the morning coffee before heading to work, worked together at dining table and discuss some business detail at the second living room(entertainment room). My managers are very picky, but they both gave this place a thumbs up! Plus the price is absolutely fair compare to hotels. Thank you for providing us such great place for our short stay in Chicago. If I ever had a chance to re-visit Chicago, I will definitely book this place again.

We stayed one night and were very happy with the accommodations. Lisa was a helpful host and everything was very nice quality and squeaky clean. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was very nice with a big “rain” type showerhead AND a regular size detachable one. The neighborhood and yard area was calm and chickens were very cute! We had some fantastic empanadas at a nearby cafe called La Mulata - definitely recommend. There are a bunch of cool historical buildings nearby too (including the building the cafe is in). FYI since it’s a basement apartment (as advertised) there are a couple spots with slightly lower beams coming down from the ceiling). At 6’2” we were good to walk around without impediment, but I put my hand above my head at the lowest spot and the clearance was only about an inch, so if you are any taller, be careful or you may hit your head! In town for work and this was perfect place to stay for team. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Fulton Market while still providing a peacefully quiet setting. Bright, open and clean apartment with 3 large bedrooms. Nice kitchen for all meal-preparing needs If you don’t want to cook, no problem. Some of Chicago’s best restaurants are just a short walk or quick uber ride.

This is our 3rd time staying at Thomas and Cynthia place. We would have it no other way. Home away from home every single time.

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

This is a WONDERFUL one bedroom apartment that is both private and spacious! The owner/host has the space fabulously decorated with an eclectic mix of original contemporary artwork and antiques. Nothing is generic about the space and it has been outfitted for guests with loving care. The host, Kaye, clearly puts much trust in her guests with her charming decor and furnishings. The amount of space, the privacy and the home-y feel make it a place we'd love to return to.

We had a great stay for an extended wedding weekend with our entire family. Adrian's home was clean, modern, and well appointed. The beds were all very comfortable and linens were very soft. We felt very safe and the garage parking spot was a nice addition. I would highly recommend his home and would not hesitate to rebook there in the future.

The neighborhood has a welcoming, upscale vibe, which added to our peace of mind. A quick heads-up: the unit is a second-floor walk-up accessed via a private entry. Inside, as you can see has the spiral staircase; a unique architectural feature, but if you’re traveling with heavy luggage, it’s something to keep in mind. Pack accordingly! 😉 Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again and agai
