Holiday rentals with a patio in Chevy Chase

Lugar impecable, muy cómodo y excelente ubicación. La cocina estaba muy bien equipada, cama muy cómoda y barrio muy tranquilo. Pudimos lavar ropa sin problemas. Linda y George estuvieron atentos a lo que necesitáramos y nos ofrecieron poder hacer el check in antes de la hora pactada, lo que nos sirvió bastante porque llegábamos a la ciudad muy temprano. Excelentes anfitriones.

This home was wonderful and just as described. While Blair was out of town, Karen treated us wonderfully, even greeting us upon arrival and offering to help us get inside. We didn’t need much, but she was immediately reachable and ready to make our stay great. Would absolutely stay again!

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Uche’s place exceeded our expectations! The building and unit were clean and quiet, with all amenities as listed. He went above and beyond with thoughtful touches! If we had forgotten anything, he had already thought of it! He provided robes, slippers, and a large umbrella for inclement weather in addition to a comprehensive digital reference for the unit and local spots. We would recommend to anyone visiting Alexandria!

The place was very cozy, felt right at home. The neighborhood was quiet yet minutes away from Dc sights. Everything was well thought out and details covered from kitchen items to bathroom amenities. Very convenient having laundry too as it was raining when we arrived and we were able to launder our wet clothes! Keatons recommendations were thorough and helpful in planning meals. Would absolutely stay again.

Alana’s place is really right in the middle of Mt. Pleasant — one of DC’s best neighborhoods. Short walk to breakfast tacos at Tejana, ice cream at MDI, pupusas at Ercilias, the metro, bike share, Malcom X park, etc. It’s amazingly quiet for being right in the middle of everything. A great home base for a DC visit.

Daniel and James were awesome hosts. Always responded quickly to our inquiries, had helpful instructions throughout the apartment. They were very friendly and we couldn't ask for a better Airbnb or hosts. The location is safe, clean and we had many eating and coffee options within a 3 minute walk. Close to all major points of interest in D.C. Train (DuPont Circle) is at the end of the block and no more than a few minute Uber ride to all attractions. Would stay here again. Highly recommend this location and Daniel and James as hosts!!

Tom was EXTREMELY responsive. Location was perfect for my needs. Quiet street with easy access to federal triangle (~12 mins w/ traffic) via Uber. Pull out couch was comfortable. Would return again!

After communicating prior to booking this beautiful Airbnb, Jennifer was very responsive and helpful in allowing our boys to stay in her beautiful home. They attended a concert and needed a place to stay after singing their hearts out all night long to Post Malone. Both boys raved about how clean it was and how safe they felt and they were super excited about the snacks that she left them. Anthony even told me whenever we visit again that he wants to stay there again. Thank you so much for taking care of our boys.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Basit House in Silver Spring. We didn't rent a car, but instead used the Metro (a 20 minute walk) for all of our DC sightseeing. We stopped at the grocery store on the way to the house each night to buy our supper - it was very convenient.

A super comfy and enjoyable stay! Everything was just as described in the post and photos. There were lots of little thoughtful amenities to make your stay comfortable and easy. I would definitely rebook!

Michael's place was perfect for our family vacation. We each had our own room and bathroom and the common rooms were plenty big for all of us. The rooftop was nice to have morning coffee or evening night cap. Visits from the neighbors cat were a special treat. Would recommend Michael's place for a quiet place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.

Such thoughtful hosts!! Place was exactly as described- the amazing part of this place was all the small details. The host hosts provided. Snacks and half-and-half and a variety of coffee K pods. Location was amazing, walked to almost everywhere I needed to go, but the parking in the back of the space was also great

Nice neighborhood, quiet, tree-lined street. Vered and Devir were very responsive! Also nice -- they offered (unsolicited) to let me check out later than check out time since they weren't going to have place cleaned until next day. Also provided bottled water and snacks, a nice touch! Can't speak to walkability to restaurants, stores, etc. since I had many different places to go and used my car a lot. My only (minor) issue was that I didn't find the pillows to be comfortable. But there's a cool area nearby called "Pike & Rose" with shops and restaurants.

This house with its fabulous location and 2 bedrooms downstairs with no stairs was just what we needed. House definitely has its quirks but had everything we needed to host family and friends for a graduation. Beth was super responsive and helpful!

if I could rate this place from 1 to 10 I would give it a 1...HUNDRED!!!! There aren't enough stars to give! This adorable home far exceeded my expectations with all the details and amenities. I loved the local recommendations and they even thought to leave a toy for my dog :) btw if you have a dog this is a great neighborgood since there is SO much grassy areas around to walk :) I so highly recommend this air bnb! the host truly thought of everhthing :)

This was a wonderful stay. I loved how they communicated. Very informative. I was in town for multiple events and the furthest i traveled was 12 min. The location is amazing. Compact amenities. Definitely recommend

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

We had a great weekend stay-cation in this condo! The location is great and very walkable to many different things - restaurants, grocery stores, convenient stores, etc. The check-in process was seamless with Leslie’s thorough instructions. The condo was extremely clean and tidy. There were snacks and waters available as well as plenty of towels and toiletries. Leslie was very easy to get a hold of and very timely with responses to any questions we had. Overall we felt very safe and comfortable here and would absolutely book this location again!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious place with (private) parking just right across the street from us. It was quiet and the hosts were extremely responsive and super helpful and friendly! When we come to DC again, we'll definitely book if available :)

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Thank you Sean, Megan and Loren for all your helpfulness and a lovely stay!

I definitely loved this home soooo spotless felt right at home. You might hear people walking here and there BUT it’s not an all the time thing, other than that it’s so peaceful. Kitchen is beautiful and has all the spices you kinda need if you wanna cook, bed was sooooooo comfortable and the living room was so inviting. It’s close to food spots banks grocery stores, etc. I’m definitely booking again.
