Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chetco River

Marshawn's place had some really cool features. My kids loved the bunk bed room with the Pacman, and the record player and pellet stove were fun to have. Note that this is right on the HWY so the car traffic noise is noticeable, but overall our stay was very comfortable!

This place is EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! One of the nicest, quietest, cleanest places we've ever stayed!!!!! You will not be disappointed! It felt like HOME from the minute we walked in!!!!!! Thank you for an amazing escape from reality ❤️

We only stayed one night but wished when we walked in that we were staying for a week. Not just clutter free and full of helpful amenities, but also filled with lovely art and furniture that made it feel like home. Very comfortable beds and furniture and showers, and a short walk to the beach. Private quiet house with a garage. We will be back!

The place was clean, super comfortable and a great amount of space for two families and friends to hang out! They provided a pack and play and a highchair, which was a lifesaver!

First attempt with MAPS didn’t even find the street. Switched to GOOGLE MAPS and that got us to the street. Followed Bobbie’s directions from there and made it. That was the only downside to this while 5 day experience. Everything else was incredible. We felt like we were invited to stay in her home. The views of the harbor and marina and the ocean beyond were serene. Comfortable wide open living space, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, bowls, utensils and machines. Wrap-around porch was special. Beds comfortable, we all slept well. To top it off weather was the best. I could go on and on for there were many positive experiences in just the 4 days and nights we were there. Last night had fire in the Solo burner which capped off the whole experience.

This was above expectations when we arrived. Home is tucked away in the woods with the beautiful waters of Smith River flowing behind. No access to the river from the residence, but there is access in the area. Home was very clean, and beds were cozy. Highly recommend.

We loved this house. It is huge! It fit our family of 8 easily. The outdoor space was amazing. I think this is the nicest house in the whole town! And it was close to many attractions.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. We loved the Sea Escape! It was much more than we imagined, and loved the big grassy area for our dogs to run and play and the beautiful overlook and steps down to the gorgeous, semi private beach! We will definitely recommend to others and come back on our next trip to the nor Cal beaches!

Awesome find! The accommodation was spacious, the bedroom and bathroom clean, the water hot, and the wifi fast. The host was quick to respond and I enjoyed having a washer/dryer in unit. Thanks for the stay!

Cute little space to stay, really close walk to the beach! Kid friendly, my son had a great time. Comfy beds and cute little kitchen. Perfect for a little weekend getaway.

Enjoyed our stay in Brookings. The beaches and coastline are amazing! Quiet neighborhood and close to town, beaches and redwoods. Would definitely stay again.

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Kathleen is wonderful. Very responsive. I left some items and she was more than willing to ship them to my home. I love the home and the area is beautiful. The shower is amazing. I love how the home is decorated with pictures from local scenery. I would definitely recommend booking with her. Booking was a breeze. Thanks for a wonderful week!

We had an amazing time here!! The location is very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Katie was responsive when we had questions and everything was very clean and well kept. We especially loved the craftsmanship that went into building everything, it was very unique! The tent with the wood burning stove is super cozy, and we enjoyed viewing the sunsets through the trees. The outdoor shower was amazing too! Highly recommend staying here, it's truly one of a kind. I would definitely go back! Thanks for everything, Katie!

Lovely cabin nearby to Crescent City, and in the back of the neighborhood, but you feel like you're in the middle of a redwood forest. About 10 mins from closest trailhead to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park (Simpson-Reed Trailhead) and ~25 mins from the ones further in (Stout Grove and Boyscout Tree trail). Other trails and activities about 10-15 mins away, including beaches, grocery store, etc. Fully stocked kitchen - small fridge, oven, stove, dishware, etc. Stairs are a bit tricky inside (narrow/steep), bed upstairs, bathroom downstairs. Would recommend if you're planning to visit the nearby redwoods.

Such an incredible property! A little tough to find with no reception, but Nena was so responsive and helpful all throughout! From the friendly dogs, horses, and fish, we had an amazing time. Next time we know to reserve a whole day just to explore the property :)

Loved the property and the cabin!

Dont be deceived by the small exterior, this cabin was very spacious and super comfortable! It is in a great location- Crescent City is a lovely city and is conveniently near Redwood Parks. Highly reccomend!

The location and place was perfect for our family of four to see the Nothern and Southern Redwood parks, and Maya provided very helpful suggestions for trails, permits, etc. I highly recommend!

So tastefully and thoughtfully executed. Ashleigh and Ian aren’t messing around… the furniture, the finishes, the water filtration system, the low-acid organic coffee, overall prioritization of quality everywhere you turn. They’ve gone so far out of their way to think about so many small details that others typically do not. Aside from the very impressive cabin itself, Ian was so proactive and kind, beautiful location, lots of beautiful trails and beaches nearby. They definitely made Southern Coastal Oregon a destination for us when it otherwise would not have been on our radar.
