Such a gorgeous stay with the station and town centre on the doorstep! The house is beautifully finished with a lovely outdoor area that allowed us to relax in the summer solstice sun! Thank you so much Kizzie :)

My son and I had to attend a family funeral in the area and Claires place looked perfect for us as we needed to bring our dogs too. Claire was quick at responding when I wanted to check she was okay with the dogs and our situation and she was super lovely and made everything so easy to book. I would highly recommend Claires place for anyone considering. The accommodation was beautiful inside and out. My son said upon entering 'wow it smells amazing and look they even have lovely art on the walls'. Gorgeous grounds for walking the dogs too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again when we next come up to the area. Thanks Claire x

Loved staying here this weekend, the house was clean and had a lot of lovely extra touches. It is beautifully decorated. Sally was helpful with questions about location, parking etc... Would recommend and would stay again.

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. What an adorable cottage right in the heart of Castleton! An excellent hiking trail right from the door - Mam Tor/Cavedale loop. The cottage was charming and had all the right amenities. The bakery across the street was fantastic! Cafe right next door for coffee/tea! The scenery was breathtaking and the drive up Winnats Pass was memorable! A definite A+ place! Marianne was responsive and very friendly!

Jane's apartment is fantastic! It's spacious, beautifully furnished and has wonderful views. Four of us stayed for one night and found it comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a nice walk along the prom and found a handy pub to have a good lunch in. The city centre is within easy reach with good transport connections. We were made to feel at home by Jane and the cold beers in the fridge on arrival were most welcome! Thank you. Her communication and instructions were excellent from the moment we booked. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Liverpool. Highly Recommended!

We had an amazing time at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect—quiet and convenient, close to everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Fabulous location for anyone looking to stay in the peaceful countryside while still able to access a beautiful town. Lovely accommodation which is really spacious.

What a STUNNING place. I needed a quiet solo retreat following my 50th birthday and it was perfect. Waking up and going to sleep (sometimes several times a day!) looking at the sea was glorious. Had several baths looking up at the hills and the sky. Even baked some cookies! I left feeling restored. Couple of things I didn’t know, but that don’t reflect on Melinda as a host: - parking is on the road, not on the drive, but I got space directly outside - I could even keep an eye on my car from the bedroom! - there is a bit of a smell (from a neighbour who smokes?) that comes up into the lounge that kept me out of it sometimes - the road is quite busy with cars during the day, so you will mainly hear the sea in the morning and the evening. Rhos is minutes away - I had a couple of fab meals at Fortes. Buses are very easy - I went to Llandudno for the Thurs male voice choir concert at St Johns. Colwyn is an easy walk up the beach. Gorgeous! I’d love to come back.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. Louise was incredible! So friendly, helpful, she even lent us an extra jacket of hers and an umbrella because it was raining when we got there. So very, very nice of her. The place is wonderful, with an incredible garden, comfy, and the neighborhood pleasant to walk around, near shops, yet private. Just a great stay, and such a great host. Proximity to both downtown Chester and the incredible Chester Zoo also made it a great stay.

Would highly recommend to others. We had a lovely stay and was even nicer than we expected. Will definitely book again if we need accommodation in the area.

Such a lovely place, had a nice girly weekend for my hen do with my bridesmaids and maid of honour and the hosts were really sweet. They were happy to co-ordinate with my maid of honour so the whole thing was a really nice surprise and it was overall really private and peaceful with such stunning views. Would highly recommend and think we will definitely be booking again 🤍

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

With a 15 minute drive into Lancaster and the Forest of Bowland on the doorstep. The Barn was set in an ideal location. It was what my wife and I needed. Some quiet time and fabulous walks in the countryside.

I would give Amy’s place 6 stars if I could, what a dream! Such a gorgeous and spacious home, beautifully renovated with modern amenities. Beds were cozy and comfortable, the kids also enjoyed the games room downstairs. Best was the view of the rolling hills with sheep grazing right in front of the house, which we could enjoy from the living room, garden and also hot tub. If you are hesitating whether to book this property, please do yourself a favour and book with confidence! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, no one wanted to leave!

Great place to stay- spacious, off road parking, great location and all the amenities of a home. David was great - all the communication was quick and easy. We’ll be back.
