Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cheat Lake

We had a great stay at Carmen’s place! While we spent much of the day out at the geocaching events and finding geocaches, it was nice to have a comfortable, fully-equipped place to come back to. We took turns cooking dinner and the weather cooperated enough for us to be able to enjoy the back patio a couple evenings. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to visit the area.

5 of us stayed here while in town for an event. The place was beautiful, the location was peaceful with beautiful surroundings. We wish we could have stayed longer. Bridgette was a gracious and responsive host. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing house (just as described)

Boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were excellent. We really didn’t need anything but groceries and liquor :) The home had everything we needed (kitchen supplies including food containers, variety of seasonings, kcups, tea, keurig, hair dryer, washer/dryer) and didn’t think we needed (Qtips, hot tub towels, cleaning supplies, including laundry pods and dryer sheets, Netflix, Prime, grill accessories). The fully equipped kitchen, grill, and hot tub were bonus features for us. We will book again.

Highly recommend for visiting Frostburg. Everything on Main Street is easily walkable, the home is right behind the central area of Main Street. Myrta is responsive and welcoming. Is even better than the pictures.

This is absolutely a steal, a hidden gem for sure. Gorgeous and very comfortable place. The host has it stocked with anything you could need and is always available if you need anything. Very homey atmosphere. Saving this spot for future trips.

We had such a wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary at KLAE house! It rained the whole time which kept us inside, but the place is so gorgeous and cozy we didn’t mind a bit! We spent our time reading and napping, watching movies and making watercolor paintings. As other reviews have mentioned, the house is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Everything was top notch and we’d return (maybe with kids and dogs next time!) in a heartbeat.

Loved our stay. Met all expectations. Kristi is a wonderful host. Perfect "rustic chic" cottage. Comfy, cozy and private with modern amenities. Absolutely loved porches where we spent most of our time when not out and about enjoying the incredible variety of birdsong. Convenient nearby state parks for fishing and hiking. Recommend a visit to Ft. Ligonier - great museum. We were lucky to have great weather during our stay but a terrific thunderstorm on our last night just added to the adventure. After a scheduling snafu with a different rental property, Maggie totally saved our trip by accommodating a same-day reservation for me and my friends. She was very communicative and ensured that we were still able to check-in at the normal time, which we greatly appreciated. The property is beautiful, well-appointed, and suitable for larger groups - everything you need for an awesome trip to Deep Creek. Highly recommend this property!

This home is wonderful. Historic but nicely updated. The tall, airy ceilings were a finishing touch. So clean, best beds, a place you would want to stay in long term. Right in town.

This is the most beautiful, serene spot in Morgantown! There is so much wildlife here for you and your pet to enjoy. This place has everything you could need for a terrific stay with very caring host. You won’t want to leave!

I would stay here again! Beds were comfy, kitchen was large, and the fire pits / river walk made the weekend extra special. The host was very responsive via messenger. The location is incredible and easy access to downtown davis and a short drive or bike to black water falls state park. Only con — the living area isn’t the most comfy / conducive to hanging but in Davis / Thomas you’ll want to be outside anyways!

Emily's place is very lovely, if you're looking for peace of mind it's the best option

We came to Ohiopyle to raft and this was the perfect place to stay! Right in town close to restaurants, close to the GAP trail if you want to run or bike, and close to the rafting company storefronts. It’s walking distance to everything you need, clean, and Andrea is super communicative. Can’t recommend enough!

We absolutely loved staying at River Rest! The apartment is spotless, clean and not cluttered but has everything you need for your stay! Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and clean bedding! Living room is also comfortable! The kitchen has 2 coffee machines, full refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and hot plate. We felt like we were home! Randall’s Restaurant is 3 minutes away with fantastic homemade meals and great pies! Try the peanut butter chocolate you won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much for having us and I promise we will be back!

We had a great short stay here! Rachel sent us all the info we needed prior to arrival. As others have mentioned, the last part of the way there is a bit of a challenging drive, but it's definitely doable without 4wd or an SUV (we have a VW Golf, though did appreciate our manual transmission and traction control, as it rained heavily the morning we left). The cabin was immaculately clean and as described. Loved the hot tub and outdoor fire pit and made use of both!

It was an awesome place for us to stay while celebrating our Sons wedding at Sana View Farm. So many essentials are already furnished in the cabin. Would definitely recommend and would love to come again in the fall. What a beautiful place on a beautiful setting. Thank you for being such a great Host

What a wonderful place! When we came in the front door and did the initial tour, there were a lot of "wow's." It's thorougly historic with amazingly thick hand-hewn log walls, visible on inside and outside -- and with modern heating equipment (including a temperature-controlled fireplace), it is very cozy. We loved the antique furniture and how well it was selected for the various functions. And though so many historical features are preserved, the kitchen and bath elements are up to date and very tastefully blended. The huge shower is great! And what a wonderful host! From the very start, Carol took the lead on pointing things out and answering questions she knew we'd have. And she was super helpful on particular needs we had. So, how do you give a 6th star??

Was exactly as described. It was set up beautifully, enjoyed the little touches such as the tea and the decorations. No issues at all went great. Was such a great relaxing experience being out in nature with family at the cabin.

What a beautiful, clean and well-equipped house! We loved gathering there with our extended family and dogs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had nice equipment (not junk) that was easy to cook on. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and felt at home in Sara's beautiful place. The house is very remote and perfect for those looking for a private getaway. And we are very thankful for Sara's hospitality. She was incredibly responsive and kind.

First AirBNB stay and was very impressed. House was wonderful, everything was clean and the initial message I received from the host was well detailed. The location is very peaceful and just what we were looking for. Would absolutely stay here again in the future if in the area.
