Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Châtel-Saint-Denis

I'm happy to have discovered this quiet oasis in the Vallamand vineyards. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them but left enough privacy even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for peace and quiet as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery while enjoying the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The patio is like in another world, the decor is simple but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time because I feel like I'm born again after the stay. Thank you Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

it's a place in good fantastic season. the vision of the lake every day is a living picture. Swim there without a wow crowd. 2 good restaurants. the famous nets of perch of the lake, with a view of a treat. small town where it's nice to stay. there are lots of beautiful discoveries around the France or Switzerland side.

Olivier's place met all our expectations, it was very spacious, very clean and very well-equipped, it quickly feels at home. It is designed for families, it has everything you need for children with outdoor and indoor games. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Small touches are also appreciated, such as coffee, small chocolates and the basket of fresh fruit on arrival. We would definitely recommend this listing.

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip with public transport. That's possible, the bus runs every hour in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage it is more like 30 minutes.

The place is very nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. It feels like home. Jean Luc is a very friendly, caring and accommodating host. We recommend it 100%, you won't be disappointed.

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

We liked the place and enjoyed the beautiful walks through the vineyards starting right behind the house. You can walk to Chaplin's Place in 25 minutes. The cable car station is also close by. From the top station you can do beautyful long walks. The place was very clean and well equipped. There was always a parking spot within a few hundred yards. The bedroom on second floor (steep stairs) offered nice lake views. The neighborhood is very quite with no through traffic. We would certainly come back again. Thanks Micha.

What an incredible retreat! This Airbnb stands out as my favorite for a reason. The stunning location offered an unparalleled view, a true 10/10 that provided the most serene backdrop for my much-needed downtime. It was genuinely the perfect place to completely recharge. The Airbnb itself had everything I could possibly need, whether for a short getaway or a longer stay. Rudolf was a flawless host, full of invaluable local insights that made exploration even better. I particularly enjoyed the gorgeous hiking trails accessible right from the property and the lovely stroll into town. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Everything was perfect! The apartment is in a beautiful location right by the lake, so we spent wonderful evenings on the balcony enjoying the sunset. It's very spacious — even bigger than we expected — spotlessly clean, and furnished with love. We’ll definitely come back again!

The place is spacious and clean, and the garden is so beautiful. The photos don’t justify how beautiful it is. This is the best Airbnb place we have ever stayed in and every dollar is well worth it. This accommodation was so charming and cozy. Peter kindly picked us up from the train station and even dropped us off when we left. The view of the snowy mountains right outside the house was absolutely breathtaking—it looked just like a Windows desktop background! We also really enjoyed exploring Damtigen National Park with the free bus tickets provided. Everyone in the village was incredibly friendly and greeted us warmly, even though we were strangers. Lastly, the nearby local farm product fridge was such a great touch. Be sure to try the small butter portions and the caramel-flavored yogurt—they’re amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne.
