Family-friendly holiday rentals in Châteaubernard

Thanks again to Sylvie and her husband. We were hosted very well. The accommodation is impeccable, the view is magnificent and we were quiet. We didn't have time to enjoy the HOT TUB but it looks amazing. We'll be back without a second thought. Thank you again for your kindness.

We had a lovely stay, the accommodation is very nice and very well-equipped. The outside is a real plus and the subdivision is quiet. There are many walks nearby and especially the body of water which is very pleasant ☺️ We recommend 100%

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Nadine and Daniel are truly outstanding hosts! They went above and beyond to prepare everything for us, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved chatting with them and indulging in the delightful meals at Nadine's table. It was a warm and memorable experience that made our time in France incredibly special! If I could give more than five stars, I would, because five stars are simply not enough to convey how exceptional they truly are.

We had a pleasant night in the trailer, the setting is peaceful and the host was very welcoming. Breakfast is very full. We do not regret our choice and would highly recommend it!

Very nice week with family at Manoir Souhait. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos and described. Very nice pool and hot tub. Numerous deckchairs and impeccable. Everything is neat, you feel very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The village is very quiet and pretty. Shops are 10 minutes by car. The area is beautiful in the July sun. Geocaching trail (Terra Aventura) with family in Cognac, Aulnay, La Touche de Périgny, St Jean d'Angely - discovering old stones, beautiful Romanesque churches and rivers. Visit to wineries and vineyards (we particularly recommend the Dhiersat house in Rouillac). We recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation, family rest. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay. The home is located in a beautiful wooded and peaceful park. Caroline welcomed us very warmly, always caring, very friendly and always listening to our needs. We recommend stays with Caroline.

Nice house in a peaceful space. For a stay for families or groups of friends, it is the perfect place, surrounded by fields of sunflowers and corn. I can only recommend this lovely place! Additional information: be careful to have his obedient dog because the garden is open:-)

We felt very comfortable in Karine's beautiful house and were able to enjoy our stay very much despite bad weather. Karine and her aunt Chantal, who welcomed us very well, are very friendly, helpful and straightforward. Surroundings is quiet and idyllic yet very close to the beautiful town of Jonzac with bakery, shops and everything you need - we will be happy to come back.

Sylvie and Philippe are present without being intrusive. They share their knowledge of the region and are very good at giving advice for visits. The exchanges that took place during the days were very valuable. The cottage is very pleasant (top-notch equipment, indisputable cleanliness and very well-maintained exteriors... so many places to enjoy). It was an enchanted interlude, a true haven of peace. Thank you for the quality of this cottage...not to mention the visit and the tasting 😉 Looking forward to seeing you during a future visit.

A beautifully curated house, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We like to cook, and the kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had in an Air BnB. The living room is comfortable and full of beautiful artwork, with a large smart tv. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the attic room is air conditioned which was welcome on hot days. The swimming pool was a little chilly but did not stop us enjoying it every day. The house is well located for exploring the region, but also perfect to stay at home and relax. Philippe and Catherine were very friendly and easy to communicate with, thank you!

We will keep this address for future holidays: Christelle is very welcoming and very pleasant. Although she lives next to the house, she is not intrusive at all and gave us very good advice for visits and activities in the area. She was very flexible for our arrival and departure. Regarding the house, the photos and description speak for themselves. Everything is as advertised. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We spent a stay there with friends with babies and children with all the necessary comforts Finally: the pool with heated water is a real asset!

Very easy to find and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed our stay

We have been holidaying for 7 years as a group of 18 people made up of 4 families. This is sometimes challenging as we need lots of space and areas. This year we booked quite early and we couldn’t have chosen better. Jean-Dominique has a wonderful home that was perfect and ticked all the boxes we required, Great size pool plenty of parking for more than 4 vehicles, A very well equipped kitchen, 5 clean and beautiful bathrooms. The outdoor space was huge and with scenic views & sunsets, he even let us have home grown fruit & vegetables from his garden & orchard. When there was a small issue with the pool he responded very quickly & had it sorted the next day.

We loved staying here. The property is a ten minute drive from Saintes and all that is has to offer. We had a day at La Rochelle, a day at the beach in Royan and a lazy day or two in the beautiful garden. We would really love to come and stay here again!

A peaceful oasis. We spent 4 great days in Marie's home, the property is large, quiet, green. That's everything we dreamed of. The house is cute, old and warm and full of charm. Marie is welcoming and gives guests the space they want. It was great, we plan to come back. If I could I would give 6 stars ⭐️⭐️🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful rental in a pleasant wine estate. The furnished apartment has very nice spaces both indoors and outdoors. Looking forward to staying there again.
