Holiday rentals with a patio in Chartres

We had a great long weekend stay! The garden is large and peaceful, and we were fully immersed in nature. The host was very kind and helpful, and even let us check out later on our last day to make the most of our holiday. A great encounter : )

Nice ground floor suite in a locked courtyard, felt very safe. Old building with new equipment. Bed was very comfortable. Remember to bring your own essentials (shampoo etc)

One of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at! Amazing little patio space, perfectly stocked (needed a wine opener and there it was), quiet and felt very private. Right out the door were restaurants and a department store, and very close to the Palace and train stations.

Everything was perfect. A beautiful apartment, practically furnished with the most important things, a large kitchen and wonderful opportunity to sit on the balcony. Check-in was flexible and very easy because there were good instructions. Very nice and reliable communication. Thank you!

Fabienne and her husband thought of everything. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped and the jacuzzi and dry sauna made our stay extra luxurious. The apartment was always very cool in spite of the summer heat outside. The stone cave walls of the grotto are beautiful. There is ample outdoor space to barbecue and eat dinner on the patio. The appliances work well. There was abundant hot water for baths and showers. Amenities such as some bottles of water, a bottle of wine, towels, dish and laundry soap and coffee were provided. We had a nice stay in this original and fun apartment, located just a few minutes away from the castle of Chateaudun.

Accommodation faithful to its description, at the back of a beautiful and quiet garden that we fully enjoyed during our stay, including for lunch and dinner. Very attentive and considerate hosts. 6 minutes from Rambouillet train station and therefore 40 minutes from Paris, this rental is perfect for a quiet weekend and to enjoy the park of the Château de Rambouillet or walks in the forest. A stone's throw away, quality shops, restaurants and pleasant terraces.

We had a lovely stay at Sophie’s place. She was excellent with communicating with us prior to our arrival. She welcomed us right at our arrival and showed us the cottage. We felt right at home and the house and property is beautiful. I highly recommend their place.

We (2 families with grown up kids) absolutely loved Le Bergerie. It is a beautiful home, not just a house, with wonderful rustic features and decor, a big tranquil garden and super pool. We used bikes or walked to get into the local village to go to the boulangerie, supermarket or play tennis, pétanque and enjoy the super restaurant! We came to the area to go to Olympic events and Versailles and Paris is easily accessible by train. We could have done more exploring in the Rambouillet forest and the many other lovely towns nearby but will save that for our next visit! The owners were very helpful with advice to help us enjoy a wonderful 10 day stay.

Thank-you for your excellent hospitality. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and welcoming. And it is excellently located to break the journey from Calais to the Mediterranean in half!

Exceptional!! The apartment is as described, spacious and very bright, with very good amenities. The decoration is neat and the whole place is impeccable. The bedding is comfortable and all living spaces are pleasantly furnished. Denis is also a friendly, discreet and attentive host. The terrace and private parking complete this magical place. We highly recommend the owner and their accommodation.

We recently stayed in Antoine’s apartment for a wedding in Rambouillet and we would highly recommend! He was a friendly, incredibly helpful & responsive host and we had no issues whatsoever from check-in to check-out. The apartment is well located in a quiet & private area, walkable to the town centre and train station with frequent services into Paris. An overall delightful experience and we would not hesitate to visit again in future!
