Very nice and secluded stay. Private beach on Lake Michigan

The house is stunning! We did encounter some difficulties during our stay that need to be addressed but these are no fault of the house and surroundings that’s why I am leaving 5 stars as I am confident these issues will be addressed.

We had a great long-weekend stay with our toddler and small dog. The house is in a cute neighborhood that's walkable to the restaurants/shops in downtown Harbor Springs. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. The toys in the living room were a nice surprise and helpful to keeping our toddler entertained as we unloaded the car. Very clean and nicely updated/decorated. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we came back to Harbor Springs.

We loved our stay at Stephanie's! She was a wonderful host and was very responsive for any of our questions. The home was quiet and peaceful and only a short walk away from the lake. Definitely would return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was perfectly set up for our two families of four, the layout gave us plenty of space to spread out, especially with the basement having its own bathroom and cozy family room. The fenced-in yard was a huge bonus for our dogs, giving them room to play safely while we relaxed. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the lake, and we had such a great time exploring the area. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Every space was thoughtfully furnished, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The primary suite was a highlight—it felt like our own private retreat with its cozy sitting area and beautiful bathroom. The backyard was a dream: lush, pristine, and perfect for unwinding in the hot tub. The host went above and beyond, responding to questions immediately and even stopping by to blow up paddle boards for our kids, which they loved. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

This place was perfect for our large group. The hot tub had some trouble at first but Tyler stayed on top of it and had it fixed right away! The natural fireplace was really a nice feature and I loved the views!

If you enjoy a peaceful place by the lake away from all the traffic this is a great place. 5-10 minutes from St. Ignace and Mackinaw City.

Amazing home with 5 min walk to downtown Walloon. Huge yard with fire pit and hot tub! We loved our stay here and recommend this to anyone considering Walloon accommodations!

Mark & Mary are always great hosts. We were a little confused by the heating system and Mary very quickly reached out to ensure we were in good shape, even decently late. When a snow storm came and temperatures plunged, Mark was quick to come and salt the sidewalks. Always responsive and kind, will be visiting again.

My fiancé stayed here for a weekend with his friends and they had a great time! Tara was quick with responses and was a great host! :)

We had a great family of 6 getaway to this peaceful cabin. It was a great space to spend time together playing games, watching movies, and walking down to the lake. So pretty! Also, Aaron provided instructions in advance of what we needed to know. It is perfectly situated near Charlevoix and Petoskey. Thank you for a nice space to have family time and allow our grand pup to join us!

We had a wonderful stay on Crooked Lake! The house was beautiful. Being right on the water was an incredible experience—watching swans, cranes, ducks, woodpeckers, and other birds made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the fireplace added a cozy touch to our evenings. The hot tub was a highlight—we thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in it while taking in the serene surroundings. Marc and Mitch were excellent hosts, always responsive and helpful. When we encountered a plumbing issue, they immediately contacted a contractor to inspect and resolve it, which we truly appreciated. The location of the home was fantastic! It was close to several wonderful cities, allowing us to explore Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Forest Beach, Middle Village, Good Hart, Cross Village, and Mackinaw City. One of the best parts of our trip was driving the scenic Tunnel of Trees along the coastline—it was breathtaking!

We came to the Boyne area for an archery event, which was held at Boyne Mountain for 3 days. Our family, including 2 grandchildren joined us for the trip. The cottage was very private, spectacularly clean and very pleased with the amenities provided. The location was perfect in addition to a beautiful setting and a lake for the children to swim. We appreciated all the attention to details and would not only recommend to future guests, but would stay again without a second thought.

This beautiful cabin was the perfect setting for our retreat. The home is situated right on Paradise Lake with easy access to the water. The location is also incredibly close to the upper peninsula and made day trips to local landmarks easy. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious enough for a four person group and dog. We would absolutely book this cabin again.

Highly recommend this lovely AirBnb. We had a family of 10 - 7 adults and 3 under 18. each of us had a private space and also lots of room for gatherings. Loved the outdoor firepit. The host also provided kayaks which were enjoyed by all. We had an issue with the A/C which was quickly resolved by the host. All-in-all a very lovely visit.

Overall a good house to rent, however it is unlikely that we would rent it again. We like to have a boat and the boat rentals would not rent one at that location because the water is too rough in that bay. It would need a boat lift. The house was nice and had what we needed and the host was very responsive to our needs. One suggestion, add a couple of oven mitts to your kitchen.

Best Airbnb ever!! The location and view are incomparable and the house is comfortable and well-stocked. You could spend all day staring at the ever-changing lake from inside or from out on the deck, in the yard, or on the perfectly situated balcony. However, if you venture down to the beach you will be rewarded with even more stunning views and peaceful walks along the shore. I felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves most of the time. The sunsets are truly amazing! The Eastport market is convenient and offers beer, wine, liquor and a small deli counter as well as toiletries and pet supplies. I was especially pleased with the selection of Michigan wines—the Black Star Farms Pinot Noir Rose is a must! We also enjoyed getting fresh pastries, coffee, tea, burritos, and tamales at Providence Organic Farm and Market Cafe. Overall, I can’t imagine a better place to spend a fun family vacation or a quiet, restorative retreat!

I grew up going to Pickerel Lake and was excited to find this cottage I could rent to relive my childhood. My and my family loved staying at Thomas's cottage. We were able to cook meals, play in the sand, go fishing, watch tv, etc. It was a wonderful view of the lake and drivable to tons of activities in town.

We really enjoyed staying in the rustic cabin. It has been well refurbished inside and is quite comfortable! Also didn't realize how close the lake was, and how beautiful to sit in the sun porch for an evening sunset and morning sunrise.. had a delightful stay & plan to go back in the future!

This is a very beautiful place to stay with countless “up north” towns and attractions within a 30 to 45min drive. The view of the river from the lounge area was especially lovely in the mornings and evenings. We had multiple visits from the local deer and chipmunks (as an Aussie this was a a real treat). The interior had lovely decorations and felt very homely. All as described and has anything you might need. Larry is a top bloke and was very welcoming and happy to lend a hand if needed. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible stay at the White Birch Cabin with our family - 6 adults and 3 kiddos. The cabin is really nice, clean, and full of new amenities. We enjoyed a ton of time on the deck and down at the beach. We used the kayaks and paddle boards everyday on the calm bay. We also enjoyed a short drive to Charlevoix to check out the town and do some shopping. Tyler was super responsive to any questions we had while we were there. Would 100% return! Thanks Tyler!
