Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cercal do Alentejo

Charming country house close to the Portuguese coastline. Claudio and Sofia were very attentive hosts always available to respond to questions and offered some great local recommendations. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked for cooking at home.

Just back from a lovely few days staying at Ana Maria and Jorge's cottage, who are such kind and friendly hosts. Well equipped, very comfortable and clean and just what we needed for a peaceful few days resting and exploring the Algarve. Going out and about in a hire car, we especially enjoyed visited historic Silves, swimming in the sea at Portimão and the Sunday church service at São Bartolomeu de Messines Church. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans le logement. Tout était bien aménagé, les instructions étaient claires. Notre coup de cœur était assurément la terrasse, parfaitement aménagée pour se reposer. L’hôte est très réactif et proactif dans ses démarches. Nous avons apprécié. Il y a 2 bons restaurants à proximité et le soir, c’est le calme plat. Je recommande le logement sans hésiter!

Beautiful property, we didn’t even leave the place. Very well equipped, nice and clean pool, the view is wonderful.

Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht , hat hier den richtigen Ort gefunden. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde dieser Ort gestaltet . Die Terrasse ist wunderbar um die Aussicht auf die Pinienwälder und die Ruhe zu genießen. Es gibt keinen Fernseher , Abschalten ist garantiert . Wir hatten einen Hund mit dabei und da müsst ihr wissen , dass das Grundstück nicht vollständig eingezäunt ist , der vorhandene Zaun hat Löcher oder ist teilweise defekt ! Auch kommen vom Nachbarn zwei Herdenschutzhunde zu Besuch , diese sind riesig , aber super lieb ! Wer Angst vor Hunden hat , darf hier keinen Urlaub machen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt …. Sandra’s place was better than expected and she was absolutely lovely! So flexible and helpful and even offered to wash our clothes since we were doing the fisherman’s walk and were basically out of clothes! She even left us fresh fruit, bread, cheese water and homemade jam! We could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host. Sandra is the BEST!!!

Inmitten eines Eukalyptuswäldchen und einer Pferdekoppel liegt dieser bezaubernde Fleck Erde, sehr entspannt, sehr ruhig, sehr gemütlich, sauber und viel Privatsphäre. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch einen tollen Salzwasserpool. Cristina ist ein sehr herzlicher, warmer Mensch - wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir konnten bei Familie Persch gut zur Ruhe kommen und dennoch viel erleben. Das Appartement war sehr gut eingerichtet und mit allen möglichen Dingen ausgestattet - selbst Hand-, Bade- und Geschirrtücher waren in mehrfacher Ausführung vorhanden, so dass man diese zwischendurch wechseln konnte. Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr gut, so dass wir nichts vermisst haben. Der Außenbereich ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet und wir haben den Pool wie auch die Naturgeräusche sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank für den entspannten Urlaub!

Hôte très sympathique et hyper réactif lorsque le Boiler a rendu l’âme, dans les 15 min il était présent pour trouver une solution. Il l’a remplacé par un nouveau ! Nous avons apprécié sa réactivité. Il était au petits soins tout au long du séjour. En voiture on est à 10min des belles plages et 5min du centre . Nous recommandons sans hésiter. Merci Miguel !

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes' walk from the beach and very quiet. You can see that every detail in the house was thought about, for example, the fact that all the windows included mosquito nets and blinds. Overall, the house was also really clean. The only thing that could be improved is the bedroom pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

Aurelia’s house had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. I especially appreciated the local guidebook on the living room table- it’s clear Aurelia truly cares about her guests’ experience.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist richtig schön eingerichtet und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Auch der Außenbereich mit Pool ist wunderschön und lädt zum Entspannen ein.

Ein wunderschönes Areal mit verteilten Ferienwohnungen. Sehr ruhig, mitten in der Natur. Sympathische und immer freundliche Mitarbeiter. So kleine Details wie Wein und Marmelade zur Begrüßung, hochwertiges Duschgel, Bluetooth Lautsprecher und top ausgestattete Küche haben den Aufenthalt abgerundet. Offener Kamin für die kühlen Abende, genügend Brennholz ist vorhanden.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage, sehr schöner Garten. Sehr gute Ausstattung, es hatte alles was man braucht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und man ist mit dem Auto sehr schnell am Strand. Der Garten ist besonders im Dunkeln mit den Lichtern sehr schön und die Terrasse lädt dazu ein abends noch lange draussen zu sitzen.

Local bastante acolhedor, rodeado de natureza o que proporciona uma estadia relaxante! Desde a recepção ao quarto estava tudo bastante organizado e higienizado. O Jantar foi bem servido com a disposição de uma equipa fantástica. Não podemos deixar de parte e mencionar a funcionária Erika pelo prestável serviço que disponibilizou durante toda a estadia. Sem dúvida uma experiência para refazermos uma vez que deixamos o local com imensas saudades.

We just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The house is multi-level with several dining areas both inside and out. Well stocked kitchen and modern appliances. Beds are comfy, hot water is plentiful with great pressure. Forest views to the ocean. My husband spent hours walking through the cork forest. Complete tranquility and peace. Incredibly beautiful sand beaches 30 minutes away. The host is very responsive and helpful with many suggestions for activities in the area, complete with Google map links. Although it was just the two of us, the house is perfect for families. We dream of returning for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at this beautiful house. The house is in the middle of a cork tree forest, quiet, green and relaxing. There was plenty for us to do at the house, with the pool, bikes and several spots to relax and for the kids to play indoors and out. The kitchen was large enough and well-equipped for our large group, and the BBQ space really well designed. The sleeping spaces were flexible, with several rooms that could be used as play rooms or bedrooms depending on the size of your group. The host was friendly, communicative and responsive, for instance a flickering light in one of the rooms (which wasn't a big inconvenience) was fixed almost instantly. Highly recommend this home, and look forward to returning in the future!

O local é incrível. Um verdadeiro pedaço de paraíso no meio do Alentejo. A casa é muito bem equipada e a Carmen faz questão que tudo esteja perfeito. Se precisa de uns dias relax e com uma ótima localização esse é o local. Espero voltar em breve, além de nos nossos pequenos dogs amaram o espaço.

Wir waren als Familie mit sechs Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind vor Ort und haben uns ab der ersten Minute wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist wunderbar eingerichtet und bietet eine sehr ruhige und angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist perfekt um Ausflüge mit dem Auto zu den zahlreichen spektakulären Stränden und Felsenküsten zu unternehmen. Fernando und seine Familie sind wunderbare Gastgeber, waren jederzeit gut erreichbar und haben uns sehr geholfen! Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

If you are looking for a beautiful location to unplug and relax, look no further than Bernardo & Laura’s place. The photos don’t do justice to the breathtaking views. Their place is in a very peaceful and quiet spot in the mountains; while still being only about 35 minutes from the amazing beaches of the Algarve. We were a group of 6 people, including 2 young kids, and we always felt very comfortable in the spacious accommodations. Laura was super responsive and helpful in all of our communications and was able to accommodate an early check-in, which we appreciated after a long flight. We would definitely recommend this home.

Die best ausgestattete Wohnung die ich bisher in den vielen Jahren in Portugal gemietet habe. Ruhig gelegen, netter Aussenbereich, mit Grillecke, Haengematten, Sonnenliegen und Vögelgezwitscher. Kurzer Spazierweg ins Dorf oder zum Strand. Hervorragende Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer Luis der sehr nett und hilfsbereit aber nicht aufdringlich ist. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We stayed with 7 adults, 1 baby and 1 dog and had a great time. The house had a lot of space for us, very cosy living room, and the kitchen had everything we could wish for. We stayed for about a week and very much enjoyed the wood fired stove in the living room (especially during the colder days of our stay in March), the spacious garden with bbq and the many seating possibilities. The host was very responsive and welcoming. The house was also very clean and in great shape. Location is in a very calm area which we also appreciated a lot. A bakery is in walking distance so we had always fresh croissants and bread in the house. We would definitely book the place again and I can only recommend it.
