Great experience Smooth communication with hosts who are very considerate while remaining discreet. Quiet and green environment with house, jacuzzi and very well maintained garden. I recommend it for a romantic getaway.

A rejuvenating stay in a bucolic setting. The accommodation combines charm and comfort. The estate, surrounded by nature, is simply magnificent. We particularly enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the pool, ideal for relaxing. Thank you very much to our host for hosting us! We'll be happy to go back!

2 nights on weekdays close to Beauval Zoo. Damien was not present on site but the exchanges were fluid and fast. The little house is exactly as advertised and the pool is a real plus. Please note, the staircase to access the room is very steep and I do not recommend it for people with mobility difficulties. Note the possibility of sleeping on the ground floor if necessary, with a sofa bed.

We had a great stay in this beautiful old mill. The place is very peaceful and superb. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large swimming pool to relax after a bike ride along the Loire. Excellent welcome from Frédéric. We recommend this place.

This beautiful, peaceful property is a lovely place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, but still easily accessible by train. The close proximity to Disneyland Paris at around 25 minute's drive is also ideal. The house was perfectly clean and tidy and very comfortable, while the living area was even more spacious than the pictures appeared. The indoor pool area is a brilliant feature, with a large pool with a shallow and deep end, and a great hot tub, with the added bonus of a hammam as well. Throughout the stay, Julien was an absolutely amazing host, taking the time to welcome us and give us a tour of the facilities when we arrived, then staying in touch whenever needed for anything at all. He gave excellent advice when it came to getting into Paris or looking for local attractions, and left us fresh eggs from the chickens and a welcome bottle of local wine, even providing a swing and pool float for our 11 month old. A wonderful host and fantastic stay.

The house is located in a park of extreme beauty, with magnificent trees, thousands of flowers, hundreds of birds and a group of ducks. All complemented by a very beautiful and large heated swimming pool. The house is well decorated, very well equipped. The vegetation, very dense in front of the house, completely isolates it from the rest of the property; the privacy is total, and makes this place a true haven of peace. The owners are lovely, both discreet and caring. There are many and varied shops just over 5 minutes away by car. Thank you to Christophe and Sébastien for their warm welcome!

When we arrived back at the Gîte de La Gervaise after our beautiful bike trip along the Loire, it was almost like arriving home. We enjoyed the two days there in the best weather in peace. Once again, thank you very much. Sylvia and Luc for the great hospitality and especially for the opportunity to safely park our car on the farm during our 10-day bike trip. If we go on holiday in the region again, Gîte de La Gervaise is the first place we'll go.

Enjoyed our stay in Vouneuil-sur-Vienne small house in the forest very clean and well arranged, quiet without vis-à-vis, with all amenities as well as shops nearby. Jean-Marc, our host, kind, helpful, available, ready to do anything to make our stay enjoyable. We had a great time. Having family in this area, we will definitely be coming back in October 2025. We would recommend.

a peaceful haven an hour from Paris I was there for a weekend with my children, who had a wonderful time thank you to Célestin for his responsiveness, advice and availability I highly recommend it to families looking for a moment of relaxation in the woods :)

Sabine’s home in Lève is beautifully decorated and so peaceful. She was incredibly friendly and made our stay feel truly special. A local boulangerie and supermarket are just a short walk away, and Sabine even lent us bikes to ride into town. Chartres is close by and full of excellent restaurants and lovely streets to explore. To top it off, she generously gave us a lift to Chartres so we could catch our train to Paris - so thoughtful and appreciated! We had such a lovely time and genuinely can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Two weeks in paradise! Maison UMI is a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its beauty, charm, and tranquility. The house is immaculate. A perfect mix of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Every room is bright, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a peaceful place to unwind. The pool was a highlight. Pristine, sun soaked, and surrounded by idyllic countryside views. We spent hours floating and relaxing under the blue sky. In a huge secure garden which our mini dachshund enjoyed exploring safely. The location is superb: nestled in picturesque countryside, yet just a short drive from charming villages. With Shops and supermarkets also close by for anything you need. Our host, Sanouchka, was exceptional, warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful, making us feel more like guests in a friend’s home. Bonus delight: adorable geese at the end of the garden added a touch of whimsy. Maison UMI isn’t just a stay, it’s an unforgettable experience.

We spent two excellent nights in Déborah's cottage, the environment is very peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The pool is large and at an ideal temperature for chilly people like us. The accommodation is close to many stud farms for animal and nature enthusiasts.

Very well located accommodation for exploring the castles of the Loire and along the bike path. Comfort and optimal equipment. Very friendly hosts.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

We (three adults) had a wonderful time in the very beautiful and exceptionally well-equipped house. Due to the central location, we had the opportunity to take extensive tours in the Loire Valley with our bikes. We also liked the nearby and very pretty town of Esvres. We can therefore recommend the address without restrictions and would like to express our gratitude for the pleasant stay with the very friendly hostess.
