Farmstay holiday rentals in Centre-Val de Loire

Exactly what we were looking for, a nice place in the country that was close to towns and chateaux we could explore. We are a group who likes cooking and were easily able to do so in the nice kitchen oozing with French charm. Plus the beds were very comfortable, always a plus when traveling. The setting was abundant with beautiful flowers in bloom, chickens clucking peacefully, and a horse in the field. It was really wonderful. We appreciated that Odette came out to meet us and to make sure we knew where everything was.

This country guest home is a great setting to relax, and rest after a full day of sightseeing and traveling. Valerie received us and explained well the home set up and answered any questions. The Jacuzzi was a big plus and we had relaxing meals in the back patio and used the grill while accompanied by the curious lambs and chickens roaming free but separate from our space, adding to the wonderful feeling of connecting with your surroundings, we didn’t access the river but you have the option to kayak if thats your thing. highly recommend.

Welcoming host, accommodation as described, the setting is pleasant and peaceful. If I have to come back to the Boursay area and look for accommodation, I would not hesitate to check the availability of the Gonardière cottage. I recommend it!

We had a great stay in this beautiful old mill. The place is very peaceful and superb. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large swimming pool to relax after a bike ride along the Loire. Excellent welcome from Frédéric. We recommend this place.

We stayed here for a week with a group of 12 and found the home to be perfectly sized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out if wanted and still enough spaces for us all to come together. The grounds and area in general are stunning and very peaceful. You absolutely need a car to get around to anything. The nearest towns are small and charming and Tours is only about 40min away. It's important to note the second floor has 2 showers, so the bedrooms with the single beds (pink and green) must share with the turquoise room, or walk through the blue room to use theirs. The water is hot but the top floor has low pressure if anyone else is showering. The house and furnishings show their age but it's very comfortable and charming. All of Pierre's recommendations were lovely - we did the carriage ride and hired a private chef (Morgan) both with great success. I would definitely recommend the stay again it was such a relaxing week and a great hub to all the Loire chateaux.

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Former sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with a view of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

The space is comfortable and carefully decorated. If the weather allows it, the outdoors is charming too. Marie-Noëlle recommended local walks for us. The bedding is also great. We will be back without hesitation.

The accommodation is easy to find, quick access from the highway. We arrived early, which was not a problem for Francine, who welcomed us 2 hours earlier than the scheduled time. the garden is beautiful and with the small stream it is bucolic to the fullest. A peaceful and relaxing atmosphere ideal for a long weekend with the family. Lots of games available: foosball, ping pong, balls, trampoline and even a boat to walk on the water! Sunday was rainy, We were able to make a fire in the fireplace of the beautiful living room. We would recommend this listing.

Atypical accommodation full of charm in stone from the region. We enjoyed the tranquility with this huge enclosed garden. 900m away, the bike path allows you to get to Chinon by bike safely where you can practice many activities and eat in one of the restaurants recommended by Béatrice.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming gîte! The setting is peaceful and bucolic . The pool is beautiful and provided the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and elegant, making us feel right at home from the very first moment. The cottage of Guimapé is a fabulous place, lovingly restored by Robert. Its large enclosed courtyard and lush garden make it a haven of peace. Near Chinon, there is much to see in this beautiful corner of France (Loire, castles, cellars, equestrian centers...) Robert is a very welcoming and friendly host, a beautiful meeting and beautiful discoveries!

Great stay! If you are looking for a quiet cottage, including everything you need and 30 minutes from Beauval, don't hesitate!! We'll be back for sure

Cedric was traveling but sent me all the instructions the day before, with a short video that explains everything very well. Everything was very clean, the cottage is very nice and the outdoor space very pleasant, in complete privacy. Of course, it was hot in the cottage this weekend, but it was due to the heatwave. The fan was good.

This beautiful house allowed us to gather our whole family for the Pentecost weekend. Everything was great, 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, a large table in the dining room and a nice kitchen where nothing was missing. Impeccable cottage. A very large garden with trees, large table for lunch, barbecue and ping-pong table. We made the most of it! Great welcome from Ms. Eclache who explained everything to us on arrival. We'd love to come back!

We had a very good weekend in Muriel and Marco's cottage. The house is very well equipped, ideal for 4 couples. The 2nd outdoor bathroom was not a problem (in this season at least). The bravest were able to enjoy the swimming pool (a little cool still) very well equipped. Muriel and Marco are very friendly and available. Thank you again...

Barn transformed into a new house. Special mention for the ground floor (kitchen, dining room, living room): very high ceiling and strong brightness thanks to the large glass roof. Absolute calm with sometimes in the morning the brief visit of wild animals: hare, doe. Very friendly welcome, availability.

Our stay at Isabelle’s place was absolutely unforgettable! Isabelle was beyond amazing as a host – warm, welcoming, and so thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location itself was stunning – beautifully peaceful and incredibly relaxing. While it’s remote and there aren’t shops or restaurants nearby, that added to the charm and tranquility. It felt like we had our own private sanctuary. The property is a dream, with so many thoughtfully placed little areas to relax, unwind, and just enjoy the surroundings. Whether it was sitting with a book or just soaking in the views, each spot felt special. And the house itself – wow! It’s stocked with everything we could need, and honestly, it looks like something straight out of a high-end design magazine. Every detail is beautifully curated, with a stylish, welcoming vibe that feels effortlessly sophisticated. I can’t recommend Isabelle’s place enough for someone looking for paradise. 😍

Excellent stay in Brigitte's Maison Ronde, perfect for a family or a group of friends. In the countryside, very quiet. The house is atypical and very functional, Brigitte was able to advise us a beautiful little river to bathe in. The region is definitely worth spending a little more time in.

A corner of paradise surrounded by nature. A charming, warm and friendly house, with all amenities. Ilaria is a golden host, conscientious and welcoming, always attentive and full of good advice on activities (restaurant, stud farm...). The region is authentic, pleasant and ideal for those who love outdoor activities (hiking or horseback riding, visiting farms and remarkable sites...). A destination among our favorites.

It's a really peaceful house where you can find everything you need for a pleasant time. The beds are comfortable , the kitchen is very well equipped , books , games , a stove to warm up . The decor is cute . The pool is well heated and large . The garden is beautiful!! Very well maintained and there is an enchanted atmosphere with animals and water points. Our kids loved the little houseboat and my son is more than happy to have been able to fish . Thank you for your hospitality and kindness . We want to come back next time .

This beautiful old house very well furnished, with quality and good taste; Very quiet. Nature view. 2 bedrooms with each bathroom WC, great equipment. Everything is there: soaps, coffee, cooking utensils, etc... everything to live right away. In short, we want to come back! Thank you Pascale 😊

We had a great stay at Véronique's! The cottage is very well equipped, the garden superb and the heated pool magnificent! Véronique is a lovely host, very welcoming, flexible and exchanges are simple. We took advantage of the surroundings to visit, which are superb I would highly recommend it! If you love wine, just imagine sitting on a patio in the middle of a vineyard with a glass of wine actually grown in that vineyard and produced in a winery literally 200 metres away….simply magical….add to that a lovely old building conversion and great hot tub. Highly recommended as are Nicolas’s wines….cheers
