Family-friendly holiday rentals in Centre, Rennes

We had a great relaxing weekend, in the middle of the fields... it was a magical weekend! With a pool, sauna and jacuzzi as a bonus, what more could you dream of! And a big thank you to Fabienne for her welcome and advice ;)

Great place to stay to visit north and west Brittany. Within 30 mins of the coast, the Rance river, St Malo, Dinan and Mont Saint Michel. The local village also has a bakery and small supermarket. The accommodation had everything we needed for self catering and the pool was very nice to use on the warmer days. We enjoyed visiting the animals (hens, donkey and sheep) in the evenings too with our little one. Typhaine was a very helpful host with great local recommendations.

We had such a wonderful stay at Claude’s place! The surroundings were absolutely peaceful and the property itself was picture-perfect—beautifully maintained and equipped with everything you could need. It was especially great for kids 😊 Claude was an exceptional host, welcoming us with a delicious bottle of local juice and sending us off with a generous plateful of homemade crêpes—such thoughtful touches that really made our stay extra special. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge before heading back to Paris and then home. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet, charming escape.

We had a great weekend. relaxing weekend what we needed. my kids loved fishing in Michel's pond. Also available is the ping pong table that we enjoyed too. the setting is peaceful and pleasant. nearby, possibility of taking beautiful walks. thank you to Michel.

We had a great time with the family in Amélie's spacious loft. Tastefully decorated and well arranged, it is also very well equipped and very bright. Paradise for young and old😀. A stone's throw from the city center, everything is within walking distance. We'll be back with pleasure if the opportunity arises again.

Beautiful spacious architect's house, ideally located in the heart of Paimpont, facing the lake. Everyone will find a comfortable place in the many living spaces. The vast garden is a haven of greenery and serenity. Beautiful panoramic view of Brocéliande, complete recreational facilities.

We loved staying here with our friends and our daughters. The animals were a real highlight, feeding the goats and Caesar the donkey! It was so peaceful and beautiful. We spent many hours playing in the garden, on the swings, there were also little bikes or children loved. Swallows swooping signs, eating at the table in the garden, lots of space inside to play when it rained. Perfect place for a fun holiday with friends, with or without children! we also found it easy to get into Rennes to see the galleries there. Thank you so much!! xXx

Very good stay. Small downside to the heating is difficult to adjust... if no heating, no hot water. So it was very hot in the apartment.

Very pleasant stay at Nathalie's, who was welcoming and always available. The garden is beautiful, a true haven of peace! The house was as described, very clean and very bright. The bath towels and bed linen provided smelled good. My 6-year-old son really liked the mezzanine area where we slept. The sofa bed in the living room is also very comfortable and easy to unfold. Very good place to accommodate 3/4 people. A special mention for Inca, the little donkey at the bottom of the garden, whose company we greatly enjoyed. Thanks again to Nathalie and Pascal for hosting us, we'll be back!

We had a pleasant stay. Patricia and her family are very welcoming and discreet. We enjoyed the pool, it's really nice for a family of 4:-) The accommodation is well equipped and located just a few kilometers from Rennes. We recommend!

We had a lovely 2 week stay in Christphe's unique home. The property was more than adequate for the 3 of us, and we really enjoyed using the outside space, especially the pergola covered deck with both outside dining / bbq and garden furniture on offer. There was also a hammock in the garden. The house is well appointed with modern applicances / wifi and a super biliards table, with a large open plan living space downstairs. The 2 lovely cats and 3 black sheep added to what was a very lovely time. We visited Rennes, very close and a beautiful city, Mt St Michael, Dinan and several local beaces near Dinard - 1 hr drive away. Brittany is a beautiful, very well kept area with friendly locals. The food / drink from both supermarkets and local restaurants is very good - try Le Courtine in Dinan, or closer - Louis in Montfort. Christophe was friendly and helpful both durint the initial booking and while we were there. We felt very welcome in his lovely home. Highly Recommended!

The stay with Patrick and Laure was wonderful. Warm and welcoming contact. The garden is beautiful, the cottage tasteful and cozy. We love to cook, and you are well provided for here. It's wonderfully quiet. All towns, beaches and attractions are about 30-60 minutes' drive away.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. Marie & Roland have worked very hard in restoring these old buildings and the grounds. It was a pleasure to spend time there and learn about the history of the estate. Marie and Roland were very friendly and amenable. The walk around the beautiful grounds was fun and interesting. Close to Combourg, the location is perfect and close enough for day trips to various tourist attractions before returning to relax by the pool.

Perfect stay, the rental was as pictured and described, idyllic setting, nearby trade and Evran is a few dozen minutes from Dinan, Dinard, St Malo…. Very responsive hosts we had forgotten our high chair for the baby and some time after we had it. I really recommend this rental and we will not hesitate to invite our friends to stop by Christophe and Virginia's. 👍👍👍

Good welcome from Erik who explained the operation of the accommodation well. Given the high temperatures, the comfortable pool was very good for water games for 12. The cottage is well furnished, comfortable and faithful to the description on the site. We decided to return in 2026.
