Holiday rentals with lake access in Central Asia

I must say this is one of the spacious and well maintained Airbnb I have visited in my recent times. We the family of 6 with one child had a stay with ample space, best comfort and great amenities. The host Karan was super active with just a call away. Caretaker was also swiftly responsive and maintaining the property quite well. Hardly to find any cons with the mansion but the local weather had some. Definitely visit the lavish greenery property in coming months.

Myself Chandra Bose with family from Delhi stayed at Whispering Bird home. It was very pleasant to stay here. Place is neat and clean . Parking for car was available. Kitchen was usable, Fridge , AC , TV , WiFi and Amenities are working as mentioned. Location is very peaceful place. Floor is separate and no interference from owner. Property Owner is very humble and cooperative. Market is nearby. 15 min drive to Picnic spot. It was Memorable tour . Me and my family enjoyed to stay here. Whenever I will tour to Rishikesh, will surely stay here again.

It was a great stay for us in Srinagar during the month of April. We travelled with elderly person and kids. The kitchen with necessary utensils helped us a lot to prepare our food. Mr Prithvi and his team take care of everything up to our expectations. The rooms and specially bathrooms are very clean. The house is located in residential area and very peaceful. It is short distance from the Dal lake and Lal Chuk but a vehicle will have handy to cover these areas. There was a caretaker and cook also available at the property. Breakfast and dinner is available at nominal rate but we rarely avail the services. Thank you Mr Prithvi and whole team for the service and would like to see you again in near future.

I had an amazing stay. The house was just like home. We were offered a cottage which was in between lush green garden with cheery, apply and walnuts and many more. The only thing which we felt was missing was a TV in the room however the stay was amazing. 10/10 stars. Super recommend.

Best place to stay in Dharmshala with your dog. We had a german shepherd and she enjoyed every bit of her stay since the surroundings are very dog friendly and there’s ample amount of space for running without leash. Minor thing is that there is no AC, and during the day it was a bit hot inside the house although it was fine at night. Rest Ankit was very amicable and responsive and made sure there were no issues during the stay.

This is our second stay at Vishal's place and I must stay it is now on my list of top places to go back to. The surroundings are pristine and peaceful. Really a mix of all good things coming together - the mountain range clearly visible from our balcony itself, the clean and beautiful riverside just behind the house and the lush green valleys and farms all around. It feels like a piece of heaven Vishal's parents live downstairs and are friendly and helpful. Make you feel independent but also helped at the same time. The villagers are also very friendly. Overall a hidden gem that you must visit if you are looking for a slice of peace.

Staying at Sheerazi Homestay was a truly wonderful experience, in fact the best experience in our entire Kashmir trip. We stayed there for 4 nights (6th - 9th April) with elderly parents. The host were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was good, a little away from main city but very quite and peaceful, overlooking apple orchard, exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed exploring the local area thanks to their helpful recommendations. Shalimar bagh was just 5 mins from here. The best part of the homestay is Asif Bhai, who prepare delicious homemade meals and take care of every little requirement of ours. Sabir bhai manages the homestay really well and you can ask for any help from him. We felt like part of the family, and it was such a contrast to the impersonal atmosphere of hotels. We would highly recommend Sheerazi Homestay to all looking for a stay in Kashmir

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The property featured a clean and well-maintained swimming pool, which added to the overall experience. Behind the homestay, the view was absolutely scenic, with river flowing, lush forests and beautiful mountains creating a peaceful and picturesque backdrop. The interior was tastefully designed and exceptionally clean. There was also plenty of open space, making it perfect for kids to play and enjoy freely. Overall, it was a great place to stay — peaceful, comfortable, and ideal for a relaxing getaway.

It's a good place to stay. It's close to Issykkul Lake, so it's good for swimming.

Stayed at Saurabh Villa, Dehradun on 6–7 June and had a great experience. The place was clean, cozy, and had a homely vibe. The balcony offered a nice view, and the kitchen was fully equipped for self-cooking. The TV had a Prime subscription, and essential amenities like Wi-Fi and parking were available. The host was quick to respond and very helpful throughout. It’s a comfortable stay for families or small groups looking for peace and flexibility. Overall, a value-for-money homestay with everything needed for a relaxing break. I’d definitely recommend it to others visiting Dehradun.

We had an excellent stay at Atif Apartment. The place was very peaceful and quiet, which made it perfect for relaxation. Everything was exceptionally neat and clean, from the rooms to the bathrooms and kitchen. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the apartment. The atmosphere was very comfortable, and we felt right at home. The furniture and decor were simple yet tasteful, adding to the overall pleasant experience. It was also located in a convenient area, close to basic amenities and easy to get around. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to stay. A big thank you to the host for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable! Highly recommended !

The place is located in the heart of the city, walking distance to all the major attractions. During our stay Fariz was super helpful and always responsive, he even arranged day tours for us. The place itself is squeaky clean and well maintained. Had a great stay will surely recommend.

Orxan was very helpful and responsive. He arranged his friend to pick us up from the airport at 5:30 in the morning, who took us to the apartment and showed all details. Later this friend Camal offered himself as a tour driver and we spent 2 long days by visiting several intersting places south and north of Baku. All at a reasonable cost.

We stayed at Aamir’s place in July 2024 when we visited Kashmir for the first time with our families. Aamir, Muneer and Aadil made the entire experience extremely comfortable. The very day we arrived, we were upgraded without asking for it as they saw that my mum in law can’t walk a lot so we were given the rooms close to the entrance. We arrived quite late (around 10pm) because of flight delays and had no idea where we will find food from at this hour but they made sure that we don’t sleep hungry. They prepared a full meal this late in the night and for all days that we stayed there, even if we needed something at 1am in the night, they were all happy to help. The place is beautiful and very nicely maintained. They have a beautiful garden just behind the rooms where we had breakfast and made some core memories. Aamir also recommended some places to visit and helped make transport arrangements. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. This was home away from home.

From the moment we have booked the place for stay, we were greeted by Mr. Sachin and we had a great feeling that this stay is going to be soo worth it. He informed us about every small detail of the place and locations to visit and enjoy. The entire orchid was very beautiful with a water body near by and the host couple was so welcoming that they gave us a round of the place, took care of each and every minute requirements like stay, food, excursion, paragliding and what not. Rooms were that clean and settled up which was giving us a homely feel infact other arrangements like bonfire and sitting arrangements in the orchid were done so beautifully. None the less, the see off was so heart touching, it made us sure about our next visit.

Very peaceful and calm place to spend a low-key vacation. The caretaker Sanjay was extremely responsive and pampered us with great food, barbeque and bonfire. Felt like home, would certainly recommend staying here.

This cottage is best if you are looking for some offbeat and peaceful area , that is very close to nature . 4. This is 2 floor cottage with fully equipped kitchen, and best for family also . 5. There are 2 cute dogs , very friendly and as I am a pet lover so I had great time with them . 6. You can enjoy your sunrise and sunset time in balcony with amazing view of nature . 7. This cottage is in Bhowali range so all the tourist spots are not so far from it . You can cover them very easily from this spot . 8 . The only this about this place is this , that there is 100 meter steep slope , so you need expert driver or you can take help from host , they will definitely arrange some help for you to reach the place . My experience was really good , I am in love with this place as I am a peace lover who like to stay near nature and away from traffic and noise .

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this lovely Airbnb home in Mukteshwar. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature—perfect for a refreshing break. We especially enjoyed the short hike nearby, which offered stunning views and a quiet escape into the hills. The food was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and made with so much care by the caretakers. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. While the road to the property is a bit rough, the experience at the home more than makes up for it—definitely not a reason to lower the rating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and homely mountain getaway!

This place is perfect if you're looking for an offbeat retreat with peaceful hikes and a deep connection to nature—but what made it more special was Sanju bhai. From the moment we arrived he made sure everything was managed perfectly.His energy is warm, sincere, and incredibly welcoming. He went out of his way—often without us even asking—to make sure we were comfortable and happy at every step. Whether it was planning small hikes, sharing local options, or serving delicious home-cooked meals,specially the local cuisines, every gesture reflected his kindness and passion for hosting. It's rare to meet someone who puts so much heart into what they do. Thanks to Sanju bhai, this trip will stay with us for a long time.

Great experience This was my second visit to Pindari Cottage, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. The place has a peaceful charm that keeps bringing me back. A special thanks to Kamla aunty, who is incredibly sweet and caring. She managed everything so well and made sure we felt completely at home. Her warmth and hospitality truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and homely getaway in the mountains.
