The stay was perfect, aesthetically sound. Payal madam was sweet and humble. Masala omelette is a must try made by Hans. Place is near to main city and all basic amenities are walkable.

We are a group of 3 families with kids. The place was better than we expected and we had loads of fun. It's a well developed property with nice views of the mountains. It is right in between Nainital and Mukteshwar. The staff was courteous and prompt. We had the pleasure of meeting with the owner Mr. Ashok and he was gracious and helpful. Must visit place !

We visited here for two days, along with our pet dog. It was my dog’s first trip. This stay was exactly what we had hoped for. The way they have maintained this place simply and beautifully, it felt like home. The care taker and the cook were proactive and very polite towards our needs. We would definitely wish to visit again.

We booked Harshit’s place for 2 nights on New years. I did the booking very hastily, just going by the reviews. But after visiting the place, i can say that it surpassed all of our expectations. 2 days at Old British house turned out be just the kind of escape we had been looking for. We were mesmerised by the old, rustic charm of this place and how well it is preserved over generations. Rooms were spacious with artfully decorated corners, clean beddings and neat bathroom. This was more like a bonding vacation for the kids ( 4 year old & 6 year old) who were meeting after a year. And at Old British house we didn’t had to take any extra effort to keep them busy. They enjoyed early morning encounters with monkeys, spotted new birds, climbed mango tress and ran around the spacious lawn. Bon fires & start gazing at night were great too. A very special mention to mr. Raj for accommodating all of our requests. Thank you Sehgal family for a memorable stay. Looking forward to visit again.

1000 characters won’t be able to summarise the goodness of JD bhai, his family, and his abode. There stay shimmers purity and so do the smiling faces of his family. For me, it’s about people as much as it’s about the place… their tranquil eco lodge amidst the pristine beauty of Jibhi compliments the beauty in their hearts. I will be back for a longer stay… many conversations await! Lots of love!

Very cool, Nice and it's very Nice

A treasure of a hotel.. walk back in time with Deco elegance, marble and reed glass.. the rooms are huge and it’s quiet at night despite a city location. Sachin, his wife and the staff are so welcoming, enthusiatic and helpful and made us feel at home.. The location is a short tuk tuk ride to station and the golden temple and also lovely tea stalls and local restaurants a stones throw from the hotel.. www would rec this as a place to stay in Amritsar with a personal Touch

Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay over there. The staff was really good they were responsive. The location is really good Mashallah I’ll give it a 10/10. I recommend this place!!

Dee! 1st, too all that come to Dry Dock be prepared for a amazing stay! 12/10 experience. My Fiancee is in nursing school and this is her only break for the entire year. Just wanted to get her away and enjoy her time stress free. Dry Dock did just that! I parked my truck for 90% of our stay only drove it to go into town( I have family in Wilmington). Everything is in walking distance. Beach, bars, restaurants, boardwalk you name it! Thank you so much Dee, we have this place saved for future vacations!!!! You rock!

It’s like a deal where you get better than what you hope for. Amazing place, your room will be just 15 steps from a stream and one can even put his/her feet in the water and enjoy a cuppa. The food they have in their menu is amazing as well i had much rather preferred to enjoy my evenings i. The property rather than walking to nearby cafes. Only downside is their driveway which is steep and not properly maintained.

From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, offering helpful tips about local attractions and best places to eat. The property itself is truly a little slice of paradise—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with charming details everywhere you look. The views are spectacular—waking up to the hills each morning was a highlight. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the tranquil garden and outdoor seating, where we spent our evenings sipping tea and breathing in the fresh mountain air. Location-wise, it’s perfectly positioned between Dehradun and Mussoorie, making day trips easy while still offering peaceful seclusion. Plus, the hosts arranged a seamless check-in/check-out process and were always available to assist.

Beautiful location. Clean and hygienic. Loved the environment. Spectacular views. Stay matches the description. I did not get the chance to taste food but ambience was very aesthetic. Highly recommended

Great place to stay for big family, we was a family of 9 persons and it was very comfortable to stay here. Also great location for who wants to ski in the Oi Qaragai resort just 2 mins by car. One down side, there was bad smell coming from the suna in the basement, however it was gone when we closed the basement door.

One beautiful place to stay at! Peaceful and vibrant surroundings with easy access to almost everything. Great vibe and very helpful and humble staff and the host. Highly recommended! Shall visit again for sure.

I had an amazing stay at Manora Homes! The hosts were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. They even took me on a bike ride through the city, which was such a unique and enjoyable way to explore. They assisted me in purchasing train tickets, making my travel plans so much easier. The room and the entire place were immaculately clean, and as a single woman traveler, I felt very safe and well looked after throughout my stay. Additionally, they kindly allowed me a later check-out as the next guests for my room weren’t arriving until much later—such a thoughtful gesture! The family is very cultured, with a deep knowledge of the city and the traditions of the temple in Amritsar, which they were happy to share. Their warmth and genuine care made my stay unforgettable. I cannot recommend Manora Homes enough!

I had a great stay at Rashi and Pranav’s place in Dharamkot. Check-in was easy, the food was tasty, and the room was very comfortable. The service was really good, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—close to many cafes, McLeodganj, and the main area of Dharamkot. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe. I’d definitely recommend it!

I came for a day, and stayed for over a month. Old Manali is wonderful, and peaceful place to stay. This guest house is in a great location inside the town. It was a bit hard to find, yet it all worked out in the end. Aayush's friend Anshul was managing the place, and helped me a lot to settle in the place. We went together to the hot spring in Vashist, and he showed me good local places to eat. Also the other guests were relaxed, and welcoming. They were all local digital nomads, we shared evening and food in the place. All in all, this place is a mellow gem in Old Manali with a beautiful view to the mountains. I can definitely recommend it for a short or long stay.

I had a great experience staying at one of the best hotels in Manali. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were top-notch. The room was spacious and well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Manali!

The most comfortable and comforting home. It's not just a homestay but it feels right at home. I am unfortunately not feeling well and Vikas and his family has been cooking for me, checking in on me. The genuine kindness and care is very special to receive, when you are on the road travelling and feeling unwell. There's everything you need, everything is clean. The decor with plenty of indoor plants, creates such a soft nourishing environment. The layout of the house have pockets of sitting areas with a nice sense of privacy between each room. The shared kitchen is well equipped and there is a small convenience store selling vegetable, just a stone thrown away from the house. Being surrounded by nature is the pure beauty of this place. There's peace and tranquility from the first step of my arrival. I have already booked my return stay and looking forward to enjoying the space again. Gratitude for Vikas and his family's kindness.
