This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

We had an incredibly great and relaxing time in this beautiful Rustico and really couldn't have wished for better. You can see that the Rustico has been remodeled and furnished with a lot of love. The view of Mergoscia is beautiful and the accommodation is also perfect as a starting point for various hikes in Val Verzasca. We can't wait to come back sometime! :-)

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

A very appealing, quiet accommodation, perfectly equipped (not too much and not too little). Ideal place to discover the Sottoceneri, by boat, on foot or by car. Architecturally very lovingly developed, reduced and as a whole unit. Everything is functional and purposefully implemented. I'd love to come back for another stay...

We are a family with two kids (age 11 and 14) and we had a wonderful stay at Petra's place. The apartment is very well located. Within 3-5 min by walk are top restaurants, an excellent bakery, a supermarket, as well as public transports. Yet the place is very quiet. The apartment is conveniently located for both hiking (there are even trailheads at a few hundreds meters) and river activities. The apartment was sparkling clean, we felt right at home. Petra and Andrea are nice hosts, providing lots of useful tips (food, activities) but respect your privacy. They live on the ground floor. Definitely recommended! We would come back without hesitation.

Bruna's apartment has a nice ambiance, is functional, quietly located, clean and with beautiful views. Parking nearby was helpful. The free bus no. 8. We will be happy to come back. One to two chairs in the bedroom would be helpful. Elisabeth, Switzerland

Great stay. We had a nice time and were able to enjoy the well-equipped apartment very much. Everything you need is there and you can feel the love for detail in the apartment. The kitchen was super equipped with everything you need! Thank you for the good recommendations! Despite the rain, we found a great program. We highly recommend the mini golf course in Ascona. Urs and Alice were very warm and we felt right at home! Thank you very much!

Milena's apartment is the perfect place to explore the beautiful region of Ticino. The apartment is really homely and has everything you could need. The bed is large and so comfortable! We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a pleasant stay. Carla had given us all the necessary information several days before our arrival. They were clear and precise. We just had to translate the English written instructions into French... thank you "google translation"...... We enjoyed the bottles of soap, shampoo, toilet paper, kitchen necessities (sponge, kitchen towels, coffee, tea, sugar, salt sachets, etc.). The village was very quiet, a "haven of peace", no noise, the birds as an alarm clock in the morning, breakfast on the terrace facing the "splendid" Lake Maggiore......

Spent an amazing couple of days at this place! Really pleased with Monica’s communication and helpfulness. Her recommendations for restaurants and cafes were great and the house was very clean. 100% recommended!

Simona’s place was very comfortable and cosy it has everything you need and it is a very quiet and peaceful place with a beautiful garden and a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

This Airbnb was beyond gorgeous.. The views were just absolutely breathtaking and it was nice to be on the local side of Lake Como.. our host made great recommendations.. and we really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. Our host was absolutely so kind and we really enjoyed meeting her.. thank you for being flexible and just a great host. We would definitely will be back.

The accommodation is in a fantastically beautiful location – ideal for relaxing. Andrea and Raffi were very warm, wonderfully uncomplicated and helpful, we felt welcome from the first moment. Everything was very clean and lovingly furnished, you can tell that a lot of heart is put into it. We will be happy to come back!

Simply perfect! The accommodation was super clean, tastefully furnished and very cozy. The bed with topper was incredibly comfortable - I have rarely slept so well. Everything is at ground level, barrier-free and therefore also ideally suited for people with disabilities. Particularly practical: the private, protected parking space right in front of the door Host was extremely friendly and helpful The great guide folder with many personal tips, some of which I did not know despite five years of vacation on Lake Como, should be emphasized. The location is quiet, but easily accessible and easy to find. All around a great accommodation with attention to detail – I will definitely come back!

Giovanni was a fantastic host! He is extremely responsive, proactive and always willing to help. We had a number of questions about the area throughout our week long stay and was happy to assist however he could. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful with unbelievable views… even better in person! There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (the Bar across the street was particularly great for breakfast!). We would recommend having a car while you are there as the ferry service is a bit frustrating to navigate (especially as a non-local). Parking is paid during the high season, but usually easy to find a spot (there is a small lot directly across the street). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Giovanni is a great host.

The accommodation is centrally located, so you can easily reach everything on foot. You can be in the center in 15 minutes or at the Maggia or at the beginning of one of the beautiful hiking trails. In the immediate vicinity (2-5 minutes) there are also several restaurants, bars and shops. Andja welcomed us so warmly and courteously and was always helpful and available. A beautiful home to enjoy the good life in Ticino. We lacked nothing and we would be happy to come back at any time.
