Family-friendly holiday rentals in Cefalù

Villa Claudia is place where you experience Sicilian hospitality and comfort at the highest level. Villa Claudia impresses with exceptional cleanliness, lovingly and stylishly furnished rooms. The spacious beds with firm mattresses, plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, pool and outdoor grill provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. For trips to Palermo or the more distant sandy beaches, a car is recommended, but within walking distance you’ll find a rocky beach, a super well-equipped small supermarket (B+F), and “Ganci” – always open for very affordable snacks, cafe, gelato, or a spritz. Villa Claudia offers the best of both worlds: ideal for spending a few relaxing days there and as a perfect base to begin wonderful experiences in Palermo, at lively beaches, or in the hinterland.

Très beau logement, fidèle à la réalité. Emplacement idyllique avec vue sur la mer. La piscine est bien entretenu (un employé passe tous les samedis, c'est rapide). Un logement secondaire est loué également au dessus mais les deux sont bien distincts. L'intérieur qui reste tout à fait confortable commence un peu à vieillir. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Fantastisk udsigt fra den store terrasse, som er endnu større end den ser ud til på billederne. Meget rent og gode hints til spisesteder osv. Byen er rigtig hyggelig og stranden perfekt. Virker slet ikke så turistpræget som mange andre steder. Eneste minus er meget larmende og trafikeret vej tæt på huset, men krydser fingre for at de snart går over til elbiler, for så bliver det et helt perfekt sted at holde ferie. Kan dybt anbefale stedet til andre.

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

We (6 people) spent a week at Francesco's place the old farmhouse. A wonderful place to relax, away from stress and everyday life. Everything is there, from dishes, washing-up liquid and tea towels to a washing machine, table tennis, table football, pizza oven and a great, very well-maintained pool. In the surrounding towns you can find everything else you need, for example delicious cakes, regional cheese and very fresh fish. Francesco speaks English and is happy to give information about excursions, the history of the farm, olive cultivation and much more. We felt very comfortable there.

Dario'nun evi şahane konumda, çok kullanışlı. Ama böyle merkezi bir evde kalıyorsanız gürültüyü göze almalısınız ve tabiki otopark için extra ücreti. Cefalu da kalacaksanız arabaya ihtiyaç da yok aslında. Ama biz başka yerlere de gitmeyi tercih ettiğimiz için araba da kiraladıl. Darion'nun dostluğu ve mütevaziliği çok hoşumuza gitti. We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

The whole apartment is amazing but the roof top in particular was out of this world! To have the outside space in the middle of the city is a real treat and Stefania’s place is an oasis of calm. It is just off the main thoroughfare so brilliantly located yet very peaceful. We were two couples and there was masses of space to be together and have some privacy when wanted. The kitchen has everything and more and I think belongs to a very good cook! Stefania arranged a taxi from the airport which made arrival smooth - especially as a flight change meant we arrived late and finding the apartment without Andrea’s help would have been much more difficult. We received lots of information in advance and were given tips and suggestions for places to visit and eat in Palermo. Everyone we encountered to do with the apartment was charming and could not have been more help including the friendly neighbour and delightful housekeeper. Thank you so much Stefania. Wish the dogs were included!!

The apartment has lots of character, with old fashioned furniture but in a good way. The small terrace is lovely with lots of plants surrounding you, a good place to have breakfast or read a book. Very comfortable bed and effective AC in the bedroom. Plenty of space. A great location in the old town with easy walking access to loads of good restaurants and bars, but also close to the more modern marina and its restaurants. It seems very secure with the lock system of the building generally. Lots of interesting books on Sicily spread around the place. Francesca was extremely helpful.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in den Bergen von Campofelice di Roccella. Ruhige Lage, sehr privat und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Casa della Ceramica hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Amazing stay in a great location! Chiara was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations and areas to explore. The air con and doors muted any noise from outside and made it a lovely stay in such a central part of the old town. The little balcony got a great amount of sun and was the perfect spot for a morning coffee. Certainly would recommend this airbnb!

Vincenzo und sein Sohn Antonio sind großartige Gastgeber. Wir haben uns in der FeWo vom ersten Tag sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche hat alles, wad man benötigt. Die gesamte Wohnung ist sehr gut und modern eingerichtet. Die Terrasse ist zur Nordseite ausgerichtet. D h., dass es in der Vorsaison dort zum längeren Sitzen ggf. noch etwas kühl ist. Es gibt aber einen wunderschönen hinteren Bereich, der durch die Südausrichtung zum aufwärmen einlädt. Im Sommer ist man bestimmt dankbar, dass die Terrasse nur in den frühen Morgenstunden in der Sonne liegt. Nach Cefalu kann man ohne Probleme laufen [1,6 km] und erspart sich somit den Parkstress. Geheimtipp: Auch unten am Hafen darf [noch] kostenlos geparkt werden. Wir können die FeWo sehr empfehlen.

L'esperienza nell'alloggio di Giuseppe è stata più che positiva. Host molto reattivo e disponibile per ogni esigenza. Zona tranquillissima. Un plauso al letto che è risultato molto confortevole. L'alloggio rispondeva alla descrizione dell'annuncio. Se dovessimo tornare in quella zona cercheremo di alloggiare nuovamente da Giuseppe. Consiglio a tutti questa esperienza.

Meine Tochter hat mit ihren Freundinnen eine Woche in der Villa verbracht. Giovanni und sein Sohn Lorenzo waren bei allen Fragen stets erreichbar und haben sofort geholfen. Das Haus liegt direkt gegenüber vom Strand und die Mädchen konnten wundervolle Tage am Strand verbringen oder sich auch einfach auf dem sehr großen Balkon mit Strandblick sonnen. Vom Haus aus ist Palermo City mit dem Bus leicht zu erreichen und auch direkt in Mondello gibt es einige schöne Restaurants und Bars. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ließ keine Wünsche offen und es wurden sogar zu Mückeprävention Stecker für die Schlafzimmer sowie Mückenspray zur Verfügung gestellt. Insgesamt hat es den Mädchen sehr gut gefallen und sie würden immer wieder kommen:)

Wonderful - Ideal for a couple. We were greeted by Ileana’s lovely father, Gaetano who made sure we had everything we needed and left a cold bottle of local white wine in the fridge for us. The place is perfect - close enough to everything, yet quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds. The apartment is a really pleasant space to just hang out in too. The June temperatures were divine, and you can make the most of the cool sea breeze with so many windows looking out across different picture postcard views. At night the ceiling fan worked really well and we both slept extremely well in the comfy bed. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

A group of 3 couples we loved staying at Caterina's gorgeous house. Stunning location in a peaceful area with private beaches and stunning walks. Caterina is the perfect host with everything supplied including thoughtful pantry and personal items and an awesome kitchen full of great cooking appliances. wonderul deck for afternoon relaxing. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had a great time staying at the large spacious villa. A real nice view from the terrace on the pool and sea and garden! Very friendly and helpful host Guiseppe. I can really recommend this beautiful villa!

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

Wonderful, magical place just outside of Cefalu. Green, hily and original charming. The driving is indeed a bit adventorous but also not that bad, once you figured ot out. A barbecue would be a nice Addition. Apart from that all very thougtful and pretty. The Pool area is great as well, we spent a lot of great afternoons there. I guess its especially great in Fall summer when all the green and roofs spent well needed shade 😊

Excellent, breath taking, we loved the place

We loved our stay at Marida's and Beppe's place. The little villa's are cozy, comfortable and have all you need. Also for staying with a baby of 11 months old. The garden is beautiful and the pool is the best, with an amazing view. Good to know for young parents, the (non video) baby monitor we took with us reached from our villa to the pool! The location of the stay is a good base to explore several beautiful fishing villages, beaches and of course Palermo. The only downside being that while the closest village is at an okay walking distance, the unpaved road to walk on is not suitable for the average baby stroller. To close off, hosts Marida, Beppe (and Bonbon!) are very friendly and thoughtful hosts. With a very interesting background in science and art, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Wauw, wat een plek! Terre di Bea is werkelijk een supermooie locatie met een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf de verschillende terrassen rondom het huis en bij het zwembad. De plung pool was perfect om even heerlijk af te koelen na een wandeling, en de buitenkeuken maakte het extra leuk om samen de lekkerste ontbijtjes, lunches en diners te bereiden. Wij zijn een gezin van 5 (met kinderen van 4, 7 en 9 jaar) en hebben ons hier enorm vermaakt. Luie ochtendjes aan het zwembad wisselden we af met actieve uitstapjes naar Cefalù en de omgeving – met fijne strandjes, gezellige restaurantjes en sfeervolle middeleeuwse straatjes om doorheen te slenteren. Ons verblijf bij Terre di Bea was echt het hoogtepunt van de vakantie. Dankjewel Antonio voor alles!

Vi var här med vår ett årliga barn och det var en superbra vecka. Allt som vi behövde fanns och alla rum och ytor var fina och mysiga. Mette-Marit och Guiseppe var supervänliga och trevliga. Kommer rekommendera detta till mina vänner!

From booking until check out we found our journey to Mondello seamless and stress free. The property was in a beautiful location 10 mins walk from all restaurants and shops AND the beautiful sandy beach. On a daily basis it was a pleasure to walk home in the evenings after having a meal on the sea front in the beautiful safe surroundings. The property itself had everything we needed for a couple and was extremely comfortable. We decided to opt for the offer of transfer from the airport to the apartment and was met by a charming man who stopped at a local street food stall and purchased for us a typical Sicilian snack, a welcome surprise after our flight from the UK. The description and amenities of the property, including the swimming pool was accurate. The host was very responsive to all my questions prior to booking and even after booking was prompt and precise with his answers. We would definitely book again and have referred to our friends.
