Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our first holiday with our little girl and the location was great. The accommodation was lovely very clean and tidy, had everything we needed. Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. Perfect little place to stay at for visiting Whitby. Very easy to walk to the town centre and very peaceful with fantastic scenery of the river and viaduct.

We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this lovely house. We had a lovely time at this property, three generations with four adults and 5 children with loads of space. In an ideal location close to the North bay beach and all the amenities of Peasholm park and the bay. The house was lovely plenty of room for everyone, well decorated and everything you could want was provided. Donna was so helpful arranged an early check in and answered any questions or queries straight away even taking the time and trouble to come and check when the there was a minor problem really couldn’t ask for more from a host.

Second stay here and the perfect spot for a family weekend away. The outside space was great and the kids played in the garden most of the weekend, nice and handy for nipping into Filey too. Not much in the village itself but this wasn’t an issue for us as we just wanted a base for family time. A few toy boxes of toys there too which was great and saved us taking a load .

This was an amazing house in the heart of medieval York. Not only that, but the house itself is 700+ years old and you can feel it's character through the amazing renovation that has been done! The Minster is visible from the windows of the property, so you know that the views are just breathtaking. There are plenty of amazing shops, cafes, restaurants, and other businesses in walking distance, while the world-famous Shambles street and market is 5 minutes away. Can't recommend this more.

Very comfortable accommodation with top quality furnishings and equipment. Stay here and spoil yourself with a little bit of luxury. Plenty of room, great views and easy access to all the attractions in this beautiful area. Hosts are extremely helpful and easy to talk to. We had a wonderful time.

We had a great stay at Smiley Filey. Great location, clean & tidy, and had everything we needed. Was also pleasantly surprised to find a smart tv (info said there wasn’t one) which was great as it meant our little one could watch their favourite programs. Messaged Oliver the host a few times with some questions before and once during (about where to find something in the apartment) and he replied quickly and helpfully. Would definitely be open to staying here again if we have another Filey holiday! Thanks for having us x

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Barn. The property was immaculate, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The garden as well as the house was spacious and both felt very private and tastefully appointed and allowed us a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring this part of North Yorkshire where there is so much to see and do.

Such a beautiful place to stay in Scarborough, close to every place we wanted to visit too. The home itself was lovely and had everything we needed and more. I'd definitely stay there again. Also, the nice touch of milk in the fridge and biscuits was so thoughtful.

Lovely place to stay, the house is big and well decorated with a large living room with a wood-burning stove. The garden is nice and peaceful with a few friendly peacocks dropping in from time to time to say hello. The house is very well located and at the same time in a quiet environment. We received lots of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. I highly recommend it :)

Amazing location, easy walk up onto the moors or into Rosedale along the river valley. Beautifully restored and fitted out. Everything tool you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. Peaceful seating area out the back and we loved seeing the rabbits and hearing the owls.

We had a lovely short break. The cottage is located perfectly for visits to the coast and local towns and villages. The courtyard garden was secure for the dog and lovely to sit in the sunshine. The cottage had everything we needed and Adrian was really helpful. Thank you for having us.

Myself, my husband and my two kids stayed at Katie's for the weekend. The house was absolutely spotless, spacious and in a great location, close to all the amenities and attractions Scarborough has to offer. Katie was very responsive to messages and any questions. We didn't get to do everything we wanted to do in Scarborough in one weekend, so we're planning a return visit in the near future and we'll definitely book with Katie again. Thanks for having us! Stone Throw is definitely the place to stay in Scarborough it’s proximity to town and beach is second to none , Two parking spaces is great with Ev charging available at an extra cost . The interior is light and airy and whoever did the alterations to the property did it to a very a high standard the kitchen is open plan with all modern appliances The bathrooms and en suites with plenty of hot water available with good pressure showers and hot water . The bedrooms are light and airy and fresh and clean bedding Decorated to a high standard with USB sockets for charging phones Etc Overall the place had a great location couldn’t fault the property Will definitely be booking again.
