Beachfront holiday rentals in Castro

The place is excellent. The view of the sea and dusk incredible. The host is a super host, he had lots of patience with us. I managed to lock ourselves out and he came all the way to the house late at night to open it for us. He is the best host I ever had.

Perfect stay right near the beach that felt like home! This property has super comfortable beds, nice linens and many little things that made for a very relaxing stay. We thought we’d visit a number of the villages in the area, but found ourselves just wanting to relax at the house and on the local beaches instead. If we come back to the area, we are 100% staying here again. Also, although there are good restaurants in town, cooking was easy bc there’s a BBQ on the patio, lots of spices and pots/pans to cook with and plenty of plates/cups/glasses/etc. It’s a well stocked kitchen - much more so than many other places I’ve stayed. If you’re thinking about this place, stop looking at other options and book it. You won’t regret your decision. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!

We stayed as a family (2 parents with 3 children) in this very nice apartment. The decor was neat and tasteful and all the amenities were well thought out to make our lives easier. The terrace, in particular, was beautiful, with a shaded area and with beautiful sea views. A small, rather family-friendly beach is accessible directly downstairs from the building. You also benefit from a covered private parking space at the bottom of the building and access to the outdoor shower of the building (very convenient when returning from the beach full of sand). Maria and Tommaso were very welcoming and responsive to our requests. The hot water tank broke down due to an overpressure of the city's water one night. They immediately brought in a plumber to change the emergency water heater! Thanks to them.

Francesco and his wife and children were so helpful with suggestions of restaurants and places to go and visit. The unit was exactly as described and met all of my needs and expectations. I will definitely be going back!

I truly enjoyed staying at Rosaria’s place. The apartment is simply furnished but has everything you need. And then there is the terrace!! It’s the highlight of her place. The view is exactly as advertised. I can recommend her place.

We had a lovely visit in Otranto and loved staying in Janela Blue. It is on a central, quiet street in a charming location, walking distance to the entire old town. Loved having the small balcony to enjoy our morning coffee.

A great place to stay if you like it quiet and with a beautiful view of the sea. The amenities and furnishings were good. Communication was always perfect and quick to respond. There were also a few local tips so we didn't miss anything. We would always come back!

We loved our stay in this beach house by the sea. Allesandro had made it very comfortable and provided so many extra treats. It was so quiet, relaxing and calm with great restaurants nearby and many beautiful places to visit.

Donato the owner and Sergio who did check in were so friendly and helpful. Anything we needed that wasn’t in the house, they organised. Top spec throughout, perfect location for a 5 min drive to the beach, 10 min drive into town or a perfectly nice 40 min walk to the old town.

Absolutely exceptional stay – beyond all expectations! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Paolo was an outstanding host – warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as perfect as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly well taken care of. The villa itself is just amazing – full of character, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. But the real highlight? The view. Absolutely breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice – it’s something you have to see with your own eyes. This place is a hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We had an amazing stay at Francesca’s. We were in contact with Lukas who was extremely helpful, clear and friendly. At check in, Lukas met us and showed us around, he had many local recommendations for us. Throughout the stay he was super responsive and helpful. The first morning we woke up to fresh croissant and pasticciotti!! The house was beautiful, very spacious, full of light and extremely clean. There are many places to sit and many amenities like the pool, outside showers, hammocks and outside BBQ area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

A beautifully decorated house, everything is well thought out in modern comforts. The rooftop terrace is just a little slice of heaven, with a view you can't get enough of and especially precious calm! Finally, we had a thoughtful host! In addition to the attention left, he is very responsive to requests, advises us on things to see, visit or even good restaurant addresses! Thanks again for a week of happiness 🥰😊

Apart from the little imperfections with cleaning everything was perfect. Great and very responsive host. A walk to the town is a good cardio excercise.

We had a very relaxing time in Vittorio's apartment. The large balcony has a great view of the sea. 2 beaches are directly opposite, only across the less-traveled road from the apartment. The free city beach with the wind-protected bay can also be reached in a few minutes on foot. The sea is crystal clear and shines in all shades of blue. The old town of Otranto is also within a few minutes' walk and offers a wide range of restaurants and ice cream parlors. Vittorio welcomed us very nicely, also gave us many tips during the stay and stayed in touch with us. The apartment is lovingly furnished and has everything you need. We recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday in Otranto.

This is a fantastic place and we’d highly recommend it! Beautiful, spacious, spotless, well-decorated apartment in a great location with roof terraces (plural!) with amazing views. Ludovica was the perfect host- very responsive and helpful and the apartment guide was a very thoughtful and useful addition. Gallipoli is also a great place to stay when exploring Puglia, with lovely local beaches, good restaurants, activities and other towns in easy distance. Thank you Ludovica!

We spent a week in the villa with our children. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Stefania and were overwhelmed by the beautiful view of the sea. The whole complex is very well maintained and lovingly furnished. There is everything you need for a perfect vacation. We felt very comfortable. We can fully recommend the villa!

We had a lovely stay in Maria’s apartment, the apartment was clean and really nicely presented. The bed is also extremely comfortable and the location is perfect. We stayed for a week in otranto and couldn’t recommend it more, the restaurants were all really well priced and delicious. The town itself is very peaceful and quaint. Maria was very helpful with anything we needed and gave us a lot of recommendations on things to do. Five stars from us!!

We had a wonderful stay in Gallipoli. The apartment has everything you need for daily life and is very quiet. The roof terrace with the view of the sea is simply fantastic and on foot you can quickly reach the old town. Clear recommendation!

This place was magnificent. We immediately were impressed. It was exactly like the pictures. Very, very clean and very boho-chic. The shower with the twinkly lights was spectacular! The location was perfect. Very close to all the shops, restaurants, sites and local beach. There is an amazingly designed spiral staircase to the terrace top with a lounging area for sun bathing or even to eat your breakfast or lunch. Our host Nicolas was wonderful. He was very helpful and always available for any questions. Within certain times you are able to drive your car to the front door to drop off your luggage and then drive to the local parking lot. We only wish that we had more time to enjoy. We loved our stay and we loved Otranto.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment is beautiful, clean, with sea view located in a very cute village. The owners are an amazing couple who would welcome you warm, give many advices about the places around. Just lovely! We recommend and for sure we will come back soon.

We had a wonderful week at Antonio’s home. It was even better than the photos and description. Little details like having coffee to make in the morning, some water in the fridge on arrival and cookies for the girls. We arrived quite late and Antonio met us to ensure we got in ok. He was so helpful with recommending some great spots for food, beach clubs, local activities, local supermarkets. In my opinion, Antonio went above and beyond to ensure that we had a lovely holiday.
