Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Castries

We did not know what to expect as it was our first time visiting St. Lucia. The place was confusing on how to get to because the GPS takes you to the dock which is down the street from the place but wasn’t the hosts fault, however, Myrna and Charles were very quick to help!! They were super friendly as well. We loved the two local dogs that lived there as well, they followed up downtown and it was super sweet. We stayed here our 1st and last night. In between we stayed in Soufriere and Castries. If you are looking for an area with lots of excursions, Soufriere is where you want to go. Laborie is more chill and relaxed! We had a great time traveling around the island. 🏝️

Chalet la Mar was the absolute perfect place for us (2 parents and a 12yo) to spend a week. This house has soul. It is full of books, the views are glorious, the interior space is simple and light, with good cross-ventilation. It had everything we needed. It even had a couple of cats that would check in on us at times. Evelyn was wonderful, very welcoming and kind. She even brought us a few treats, and cooked us a delicious meal. We could have spent all week reading and relaxing on the balcony. We also loved the nearby rocky beach that was full of spectacular shells. Laborie is a 15 mn walk down (and a good workout back up). It has an early morning Saturday market, a few delicious restaurants, a beautiful sandy beach, and a welcoming scene. We rented a car (not a 4x4) and recommend the second left off of the Laborie road for a easier drive. We had a truly wonderful time and highly recommend Chalet La Mar. We hope to come back one day, and stay longer. Thank you Evelyne!

Had a great stay at Rudolph’s place in Bexon! The listing was completely accurate, and everything matched up perfectly with what was shown and described. Check-in and checkout were seamless, and communication was quick and easy throughout the stay—Rudolph was always responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The location was super convenient—easy to get to and from, and made for a smooth, stress-free trip. Whether you’re familiar with the area or visiting for the first time, this is a solid, reliable spot to stay. Highly recommend Rudolph’s place and would definitely book again in the future!

My stay went very well. Place was peaceful and well cared for, nice for a short stay or a long stay. Everything that was needed was there. I would stay again, when I'm in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described, clean and beautifully decorated. The view was absolutely stunning and made for a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere throughout our trip. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, which made the experience even better. One thing to keep in mind: the property is located on a hill, which offers a great view but can be a bit challenging, especially if you’re walking. About 15 Mins To Walk Down But Couldn’t Walk Up The Hill Back To The Airbnb So Would Have To Utilize Taxi Or We definitely recommend renting a vehicle to get around comfortably and explore the area with ease. Great cozy apartment. A bit of a drive to get to the north of the island but it's all good. Great hosts.

Had a great stay at Thomas's lovely home perched on a hill with an amazing ocean view. It had pretty much everything we expected: a well equipped kitchen, spacious and comfortable surroundings and a great location. Though we had a car rented, Virgie Beach is within walking distance and the tour operators will pick you up. Taxis are reasonably priced. Met Thomas and Phillip and like all St. Lucians, they are great people. One small negative was the dog next door that barked pretty much non-stop including at night, something our host can't control. Our family of 6 enjoyed a wonderful week at Brigand Hill. The home is very private with an authentic, open air feel throughout. We were prepared for lots of bugs and mosquitoes but were pleasantly surprised to not use any bug spray at all. The staff led by George was great. George took us all over the island and was an amazing tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about St. Lucia. It was very relaxing to come home to home cooking each night and enjoy great meals by the pool outdoors. Nearby is the Ti Kaye resort with a nice beach and a good, reasonable restaurant and bar. There are also other great beaches not too far away. I can highly recommend a stay here for a family or larger group. You won’t be disappointed!

Not my 1st stay here definitely wont be my last. It’s everything as described and more, the added bonus of the rental car this time made my trip all the more easy and less stress. The hosts are truly my favourite of all air BnB I’ve stayed in various different locations, my loyalty will never allow me to stay anywhere else on future trips.

We really enjoyed our stay at Monique’s place! She is a lovely host! It was super clean and spacious. It was only a few min drive from town while still being peaceful and quiet. She was so helpful, answering any questions we had and providing recommendations. We would totally stay at her place again :)

This was my partner and I's first time visiting St. Lucia, and we felt very blessed to have booked our stay at Karen's place. The Airbnb is better in person than in photos; it is big, perfect for a party of two. The bedroom is beautiful, well-decorated, and air-conditioned. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast, since we prefer to have coffee at home. Karen provided salt and sugar, and there was coffee in the place, too. The bathroom had hot water and clean towels. The view is breathtaking. There are two pools on the property, and Karen made us feel like we were at home. She provided a lot of instructions, and we had a blast on vacation. Karen answered quickly. Just follow the property instructions, and you will be fine. The place is extremely clean and well-taken care of. Karen has a great list of places to get great food. We slept like babies. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here. We will come back. A great place to bring your entire family including kids, my toddler had a blast! Would definitely be choosing this place every time that I visit!!!

Kate and Damien’s place is in such beautiful tranquil setting! Took my breath away when I opened the curtains and door in the morning to see the luscious green garden. If you love walking it’s a lovely daily walk to the beach 🏖️ and Pigeon Island is a very short bus ride away 🏝️! The place is better than the photos and its comfort is enhanced by the endless thoughtful touches that really are helpful for that home from home feeling. I truly felt the generosity, thoughtfulness and kindness of the hosts. I felt they genuinely wanted me to have a wonderful experience during my stay, and I did 🩵💛🖤🇱🇨! Saint Lucia is so green and mountainous, it’s an ecological delight. Close by are some great vegan restaurants 😅! I wish my stay was longer and then I would have fully utilised the tour guides that Kate highly recommend, to get me to some spots of natural beauty. It's a beautiful place with an awesome pool and a short walk to a very nice beach (shared with the nearby Sandals resort). I did have a bit of difficulty locating it, as Google Maps sent me down a different road. It's easy to miss it, but once you find it there's no problem finding it again. The place is excellent, well equipped and well maintained. I would absolutely stay here again.

Chrissy's Villa was amazing. I was truly able to relax and enjoy staying at "home" at the villa. when staying here, you definitely need to rent a car If you're looking to adventure. if you're just looking to soak in the sun & beauty of saint lucia from a quiet location with private pool and breath taking views this is also the best place to be.

Vickie was a delight. She had island connections that helped my sister and I book excursions that were fully booked. She had a chef connection that came charged $60pp. My sister enjoyed the food I didn’t but that’s my preference. Vicki helped me fill out my travel forms when I was having difficulties and offered an extra checkout hour due to my flight. My arrival flight was delayed and she had a driver waiting for me $45 pp with my name at the airport. Vicki provided adapter chargers because your charger won’t work in st.Lucia. The beds were firm the home was clean. Beautiful vibes. Long balcony with scenery. Nice beautiful hot showers great pressure. Airbnb had ant issue nothing major I didn’t get bit just killed a few. Any issues were handled promptly. There’s notation if ac is left on host will come in to cut it off I believe during my stay that happened because there was a chair in the home that wasn’t present prior. Overall good stay. Vicki was awesome. Id stay again & I miss it

We loved our stay at Simon's condo in the Marigot Bay Marina area! It was very spacious, had great views, air conditioning units in living room & bedroom which cooled off the whole apartment, and an amazing rain shower in the bathroom. Daily Guest pass wristbands were provided to access the Zoetry Resort where you could use the pool and fitness center and purchase meals or spa services. Marigot Bay was a beautiful spot and ferry access is available to go to nearby restaurants and a little public beach. The property manager arranged our airport transportation each way and met us at the property to provide condo access and instructions. We found everyone we dealt with to be very friendly, welcoming and always responsive. We had a friend with a boat that took us to other areas, but we saw tour boats picking up in the bay as well. The price for the condo was very reasonable and we have already recommended it to friends.

Casa Vista was the perfect house for our vacation. Verlinda and Ernie were wonderful hosts that worked hard at ensuring our trip was complete with everything that we needed. The beautiful deck had a wonderful view of Marigot bay and all of its daily activities. It was beyond our expectations. Thank-you to our fantastic hosts for making our experience wonderful.
