Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Castricum

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Le logement est très confortable, agréable à vivre et parfaitement équipé. Il est idéalement situé, à seulement 15 minutes d’Amsterdam. L’arrêt de bus est tout proche, à 3 minutes à pied, ce qui rend les déplacements très simples. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte !

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

Der Traum einer Ferienunterkunft. Perfekt gelegen an dem Dünenreservat besticht dieses Haus durch ästhetische Einrichtung, Großzügigkeit und optimale Ausstattung. Wir haben uns einfach super wohlgefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Ein großer Garten mit Grill, gut ausgestatteter Küche, schöner Wohn- und Saunabereich haben den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Christiane ist eine warmherzige Gastgeberin und äußerst freundlich. Die Kommunikation mit ihr war einfach und schnell. Besonders die hochwertige Bettwäsche und die bequemen Betten haben uns gefallen. Ich würde das Haus immer wieder buchen, wenn ich in der Gegend bin. Große Empfehlung!

We came for the 2nd time and were again very happy with everything.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

Even though this lovely home was located so close by the beach, a walk of 5 minutes, it felt very private and the surroundings are quiet. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were extremely comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and felt like a cozy home. We enjoyed walking to and on the beach, had a delicious dinner in the village and in nearby villages as well. The hosts were very proactive with communication and responded quickly to questions. I am recommending this 100% to anyone interested a stay in Wijk Aan Zee and I am hoping to book this again on my next visit. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Maya empfangen und zur Begrüßung gab es sogar einen schönen Blumenstrauß, eine Flasche Wein sowie ein Leckerchen für unseren Hund. Das war eine tolle Überraschung. Das kleine Häuschen und der Garten hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war alles wie beschrieben. Wir hatten dort eine schöne Zeit und kommen sicherlich gerne wieder.

Frank ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, immer schnell mit der Beantwortung von Nachrichten und mit vielen Tipps für Lokale und andere Dinge, die er vorbereitet auf dem Küchentisch hatte. Das Haus war sehr einfach zu finden, dank der Schlüsselbox einfach zu beziehen und super aufgeräumt und sauber. Wir hatten eine tolle Küche, ein großes Wohnzimmer mit einer großen Couch und schönen Sonnenuntergängen und oben Schlafzimmer und ein großes Bad mit einer Regendusche. Es gab im Ort einen schönen Strand, einen super tollen Bäcker und nette Restaurants. Aber mit dem Auto waren wir auch schnell (30 min) in Amsterdam - Tipp: Parken im Ijdock hinter dem Bahnhof - online reserviert 15 Euro am Tag. Das Haus und der Gastgeber sind zu 100 % weiterzuempfehlen, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit - danke Frank.

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der „Wijze Uil“ zu Gast und hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub. Jeanets schönes altes Haus ist mit viel Liebe behutsam renoviert und geschmackvoll und komfortabel ausgestattet. Der große Garten mit vielen Sitzplätzen ist ein Traum und auf der Terrasse kann man den Tag genießen. Ein ansprechendes Domizil für entspannten Urlaub mit Hund in einer schönen Umgebung. Der kleine Ort Schoorl mit Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Dünen und der Wald beginnen gleich hinter dem Haus und laden zu Spaziergängen ein. Jeanet ist eine unkomplizierte und freundliche Gastgeberin und jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in der Unterkunft und wurden sehr lieb empfangen. In der Wohnung ist alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. O'Malley war ein liebevoller und respektvoller Mitbewohner, der den Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Charlotte hat schnell auf alle Fragen reagiert. Die Fahrräder sind ein plus für schöne Ausflüge ans Meer. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

I had a wonderful 7 days at Nanda’s apartment. It was very comfortable, lots of light, quiet, and easy to access the city by bike (primary for me), bus and foot. Nanda was very responsive and kind. If you are new to the Netherlands, know that the train outside of the apartment comes once an hour (it goes to a fantastic railway museum that you can walk to) and is whisper quiet, so if you wonder if it’s loud to be near train tracks, it isn’t at all as the trains are electric. The morning and evening light is plentiful and I just had a very lovely stay. The kitchen also is very functional and I did most of my meals in the apartment. Overall really great stay.

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

Tolle Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns wurde bei Ankunft alles gut erklärt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Amazing location. Close walk to everything. Very narrow steep stairs but that was expected. Great for a couple or single wanting a central location in Amsterdam. Good communication and they accommodated our early arrival. Washer was a nice feature for this traveling for a few weeks in Europe.

Sehr schönes Haus in wunderbarer Lage. Das Wassergrundstück mit der schönen Terrasse ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes. Das Haus ist hell und großzügig gestaltet. Wir sind als Familie mit 7 Personen angereist, dafür war es perfekt. Im März war es zwar noch etwas kühl um die Terrasse ausgiebig zu nutzen, dafür war der Kamin im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer Gold wert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren super zufrieden. Die Lage ist einfach nur perfekt. Die Gastgeber waren immer sofort erreichbar und super freundlich! Immer gerne wieder.

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

Perfect stay! A beautiful villa, very well equipped and maintained. Beautiful design, luxury amenities, attention to details and all in all a wonderful stay. Jolanda was super responsive and very kind. Highly recommended!

After cycling round the countryside each day with friends, coming back to "Amazinghouse" was an extra treat to look forward to. Plenty of space Inside and out for everybody to chill. Kitchen & dining room very well laid out, so all involved at dinner. Great outside space and garden with good BBQ. Had a wonderful stay & Murielle went above & beyond.

Het huis ziet er precies zo uit als op de foto’s. De communicatie met Marius was erg fijn. Perfecte locatie om te ontspannen, op het water te kijken en het mooie Enkhuizen te verkennen.

My family stayed at Boon and Jan’s beautiful house for a few days last week. We were welcomed by Jan who lives next door and they both him and Boon were so quick to answer any questions and give us recommendations whenever we asked. The house was very warm and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. My children enjoyed using the paddle board and canoe. We spent 2 days whilst away visiting Amsterdam which was an easy train ride of 20 mins from nearby Abcoude. Anyone looking for a delightful and lovely place to stay whilst in the area should definitely choose this property, we will be back in the future for sure and make sure it’s for longer.
