This wonderful peaceful accommodation is right in front of a park. You have your own entrance and private garden / terrace that is enclosed. Castricum aan zee is rich in hiking and cycling routes in the dunes, forests and bulb fields. And our North Sea beach is easily accessible by bike. Also it has a train station with Intercity connection. Alkmaar and Centraal Amsterdam is 20 minutes. Cafes and restaurants are spacious in the beautiful Castricum. A big mall and supermarkets are open for 7 days.

The home has 2 double beds and a bunk bed (7 in total) All rooms are on the ground floor. There's a 55m² quiet courtyard. The yellow kitchen has an oven, 5 induction cookers,and dishwasher. A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge. In the garage are 2 bicycles which you can use for free. Touristtax €2,15 per person per night is not included

The apartment is located next to our 30s home on the 1st floor, in the village center of Castricum. Within 5 minutes' walking distance, the dunes start and with fifteen minutes cycling you are on the beach and by the sea. The cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam can be reached quickly by train or car. The train station of Castricum is within walking distance of our house. The apartment is on the second floor. Next to the entrance is a seat where you can sit in the sun in the morning.

Family home at the first dune of Bakkum

This is our home where we live with our family with 2 kids (8 & 10). Plenty of games and toys. We sometimes rent it out to other families when we are out. The main house is comfortable for a family with two kids. We have an annex/guesthouse, suitable for 2 adults, which is connected to the main house and can also be included in the rental. The house is situated in a quit, one way street at the edge of Bakkum. At the end of the street the forest begins.

Had a lovely time at Ben's summer house. It had everything we needed and was pristine. Loved the large private garden. It's perfectly located for Amsterdam, nature walks and the beach. We're already thinking we'll book again when the weather is warmer... Thanks Ben!

We felt very comfortable and a bit like at home. The house is very spacious and lovingly furnished. It was all there, the kitchen was sensational as we also cooked. The place has everything you need. The location of the house with the proximity to the sea and to Amsterdam is great. The cat of the family welcomed us and we took them to heart. However, if someone is not good with cats or is allergic, Selfa should address it in advance. We would come back back.

We had an extended weekend at Lotte's place. This lovingly furnished apartment has everything you need. We got great tips from the hostess on what to do in Castricum. Lotte was always available. The free bikes served us well, they were perfect for going to the beach or to the train station. The location is very quiet and yet you can quickly reach the beach or larger cities by train. Overall, we were very satisfied and felt comfortable, we can highly recommend the accommodation 😊

The cottage is equipped with every comfort. You can use everything; Grace is very welcoming. The area is good for trips to the sea, forest or city visit. The cottage is pleasantly warm in the fall. We had a really good week Grace, thanks again!
