Fantastic location by the sea! Lovely house with great views of the sea. Pozzillo was fabulous and Italians but no foreigners, so it is a genuine fishing port with swimming and sunbathing. the restaurant il Gato Pescatore is really good and very reasonable…

We came to spend two nights with my spouse at Katerina and Andrea's and the welcome was great, very nice hosts and good advice. We have crossed paths several times and they have always had a kind word and recommendations. Very well located apartment and superb view from the terrace. We recommend!

I had an extended stay at Elvio’s apartment. The hosts are responsive and welcoming, with great instructions on how to find it. When an issue occurred it was resolved promptly. The apartment is homely, very clean and larger than I had expected. There is a modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower) and really lovely terrace area. the air con/fans were great in the warmer weather. Apartment is really well located in Recanati, 3 mins from bus terminal. Some lovely restaurants close by or a 10 mins walk into Giardini/Naxos. Was a lovely place to stay.

The appartment is located perfectly for staying at the beautiful beach and also to get up to the center of Taormine within minutes. We even got a lot of free drinks on our fridge, including local and tasty wine from Sicily. We felt very comfortable and safe in the appartment and surrounded area. In addition we got great recommendations for restaurants (very delicious), trips and other things to do. Many thanks to Rocco and Massimo, our stay was amazing! Marco and his parent were the sweetest hosts. We where traveling with our two small children and they where so considerate, finding useful stuff, toys, beach towels, highchair etc. The apartment is even more beautiful in reality. Everyday we woke up to the sunrise. Unfortunately the gas went out, and the dishwasher broke while we were there. Things that sometimes happen. But the way the family helped us and responded so quickly to our needs was amazing. Useful things to know: the public transport with bus is very unpredictable. There is a noisy street right in front of the building, but the sound of the ocean is higher, so you won’t hear it that much. The apartment is located in the best part and more local restaurants are nearby. To walk to the train station from the apartment is very uncomfortable, without sidewalks on some of the road.

Gaia’s place was everything we hoped for! Beautiful location with balcony looking out to the beach, hearing waves at night to send you to sleep is very special! The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and more. There were little touches that made it feel like home away from home. Gaia was also very thoughtful and left us a lovely treat for our arrival. Overall we had a fabulous stay! Communication from Gaia was great, and she made sure we got in ok on the evening of arrival! I liked the door code get in, as you don’t have to worry about carrying keys. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you Gaia!

Leonardo and his partner are kind and helpful people, always available. The apartment, with regard to the organization of spaces and its location, was very comfortable and in line with our needs. We will definitely be back.

We had everything we needed for our stay at Giovanni's place, fully equipped kitchen, clean and big apartment. The place is ideal if you want to escape the crowds. And Giovanni is a welcoming host.

We had a nice time at Melina's place as a group of friends, of 3 people. We were able to reach the address easily by rental car. Without a car and in hot temperatures, the steep ascent/descent is certainly a bit challenging. We had a very early flight and were even able to get into the apartment much earlier thanks to Melina's flexibility. It would be important to mention that Melina really only speaks Italian and the check-in was a bit quick, but we understood basic information thanks to English notes. The apartment is a little out of the ordinary but fine and we got along well. Melina was always quickly available for questions and sent us a few addresses for restaurants and excursion destinations at the beginning. When checking out independently, it should be noted that the entrance gate has to be opened with the key beforehand, we had locked ourselves in the yard in the early morning hours.

Daniela's place was perfect for us! Carmelo welcomed us and showed us around the beautiful grounds and the sea access, which was our favorite part of the stay! You see all these boats (some big and fancy) pulling up to the area for snorkeling...and we had free access to it every single day of our stay - it was such a plus for us! The water is gorgeous! Daniela and Carmelo were great hosts - communication before, during, and after our stay was the best.

A place with a view. Outstanding view over the ocean, rent the apartment for that! The area is wild , with rocks into the ocean. Lovely place to bath, but it takes a little strength to come the ocean and some stairs to walk. Out of the season is there not many other people.

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Would highly recommend!

Our family (2 adults/2 children) enjoyed a wonderful stay here in April. It is a well-equipped and good sized property with everything we needed. It is well located on the coastal road: a few minutes drive (or 20 minutes steep walk) to Taormina and also from the beaches/Isola Bella. Communication with the host was good and the building manager was very helpful with our arrival.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

We had a wonderful week of family vacation over Easter in this fantastic holiday home. The house is facing the sea and offers a breathtaking view – simply spectacular! It was especially nice to be able to watch the volcanic eruption through the binoculars provided – a memorable experience. The house itself is old and quaint, full of charm. It is quiet, perfect for relaxing. Two gates secure the access, we felt safe at all times. The direct access to the sea was an absolute highlight for us, as was the outdoor shower and the cozy sun loungers. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We would also like to emphasise the warm contact with our host Giovanni, who was always friendly to us with questions. Already upon our arrival we were welcomed with delicious tarts – very lovingly. Thank you very much for this wonderful stay!

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, in case of problems, when transferring our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, but it felt almost directly by the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

Marta and Francesco are wonderful hosts! ♥️They welcomed us warmly, showed us everything, explained all we needed to know, and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was okay. They are very friendly.😊 The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you might need, including beach gear. A big plus is the large balcony where you can enjoy the view of the sea. The location is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, and there’s a supermarket nearby as well. Need a car to stay here, easy to miss the entry road, but once you’ve got it it was all good, the apartment was very clean well stocked with facilities, no wifi, aldo left me some nice gifts for arrival coffee, water, wine !!!! Thank goodness, if you arrive on Sunday afternoon, pick up your food on route the shops locally are closed when you are tired and hungry aldo sent me details of shops that was great. He’s an excellent host and communicator, the views !! Oh my lord, they are truly magnificent! I want to live there! The sofa beds take some adjusting to, but ok, quiet area and neighbours perfect tranquil place, shops short drive away, and you are central Sicily to explore days out. Fresh Italian coffee on the balcony in morning Lovely just lovely. Good hot water/ shower washing machine, lots of cooking /serving utensils and crockery, cleaning equipment. Aldo was always helpful and kind which I appreciated as a lone female traveller, nothing is too much trouble. Loved it ! 🥰

We had a great time at Francesco’s place. Nice to be on the sea front for the breakfast on the balcony. Francesco was really friendly and helpful! Good place to be able to go to Etna, Milazzo and Toarmine for day visits.

Our best experience on airbnb! The location is fabulous with the view of the bay and Etna as a backdrop. The hosts had prepared bottles of water, milk, jams and a bottle of wine for our arrival. They provided us with plenty of information about the surroundings and good restaurants. Erico regularly inquired about us and even allowed us to use his parking in the center of Catania for our day of sightseeing. Sabrina and Erico are warm and welcoming people who make great hosts. We highly recommend it!

Loredana was a delightful host and the apartment was spotless and fully equipped with every thoughtful detail we could imagine for a comfortable stay. She greeted us upon arrival & oriented us, as well as departure. The neighborhood is quaint and walkable, away from all the tourist madness with a couple great restaurants and a nice grocery store nearby. It was a wonderful view and great to be right across from the beach. I was not prepared for how busy the streets in front of and behind the apartment can be. Even with a sound barrier, it did make sleeping difficult for me, though my husband slept fine. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Federica is a great host! We got so much information through her and managed to drive around Sicily easier with her suggestions. Top recommendation, a beautiful place to visit and stay with high quality amenities, must visit and stay 😊
