Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Castel di Sangro

We had absolutely an incredible experience at this place. The family of Alessio including Mary, Ivana, Gino and Forchetta was full of hospitality. Their house is on a hill looking over scenic landscape. Our space included every amenity and provided a peaceful experience for the time we spent here. We also had the opportunity to sit down with family and enjoy the home cooked meal by Ivana and wine by Gino. Mary was very knowledgeable and along with Alessio kept us entertained. We were lucky to have Alessio play his instrument for us over dinner which surprisingly he picked up only a short time ago. We had a rental car so made it very convenient to check out nearby places. We visited Ortona which was about 30 mins drive and rented bicycles to ride the infamous Costa deli Trabocchi and went for a swim in the mare. Overall our experience was beyond amazing and we would definitely recommend Alessio and his place.

It was like being at home: apartment equipped with everything you need, very clean, strategic location to visit the city center and surroundings and allows you to enjoy a breathtaking view. Recommended

Staying here was wonderful and is exactly how it's shown in the pictures. The place was very clean and we enjoyed the space. The town was nice to walk around at night and was very quiet and we got great sleep. You can really see the time and effort the host put into the place.

Our stay was lovely! How often do you stay in a medieval fortification/castle on top of a mountain? Cozy rooms, everything you need with breathtaking views! Our hosts were very attentive to our needs and helpful with getting us oriented and settled in. My wife and I highly recommend this property.

Outstanding! Not much else to say. Giusy is a great host and her unit has everything anyone could need. Communication was excellent, the greeting was very nice and she was always available to help. 5 STAR.

The apartment is located in a quiet village, on the lake, about 40 minutes from the slopes of Montepratello. It was very easy to find it thanks to the directions provided by Anna (even with photos). Free parking is available near the house. The house was cozy, warm (we stayed in winter), clean and knows everything you need for your stay. There were also cards for restaurants in the area (very useful as we had dinner in the village). We would gladly return to this house.

The house is located in the most beautiful alley, it has everything you need, spotless clean. Located in an area of Italy that is a hidden gem. But the best part of staying there was the hosts. Sara and Alessandro are the most welcoming, open hearted people I’ve met. They love people, and their village. they host with passion and with patience. I was traveling alone and they made me feel I was home. They also have the best tips for things to do around, and are doing these amazing e bike experiences. The best place to stay when visiting Abruzzo!!!!

We have greatly enjoyed our stay in Arpino at Wednesday! The cottage is so cozy and tastefully decorated, the view is priceless. We completely relaxed here and enjoyed it to the fullest! Arpino itself is also a nice charming village and everyone is friendly. Wednesday had good tips for the area! We highly recommend it! :-)

Casa di Blue Dream is a lovely quiet and private apartment. It is very bright and airy with a huge sliding door to the patio. It is recommended you have a bike or car to commute to restaurants or the beach. The space was very clean. The wifi fast and easy to connect to. The water pressure for the shower surprisingly good but remember to save water when you can! The host was very helpful after my train was late.

One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

Nicola’s apartment is very comfortable convenient for Guardiagrele and is very modest and well appointed. We really appreciated the free breakfast at a near by cafe in the middle of Guardiagrele and the information Nicola provided 😊

We had a great time: small apartment but super functional. Very clean with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Quiet. The super cute hamlet. Fabiola is very helpful.

We stayed with two people for one week in this apartment. The apartment is practical and simply furnished but very clean. From this apartment many day trips made in this beautiful nature reserve. There are also delicious restaurants, bakery, butcher and mini supermarket within walking distance. Good wifi available and the host was very friendly and helpful. For 4 people I find the apartment on the small side but for two people it is fine. Definitely recommended to visit all the surrounding villages.

I stay at Arturo's place frequently. There is such a warm welcome and the location is perfect for Cassino town centre, shopping and railway station. The terrace is a large enjoyable space. Beds are very comfortable. Its secure and safe. Arturo is a great host; comunication with him is easy and response times are excellent.

Great, quiet place where you can completely relax. Sunbeds and a hammock next to the fruit orchard, mountains as a view, visits from a red kite and collared redstarts for the bird lovers, firefly show in the evening and a pygmy owl in the distance. Those who love nature love this place. The bed is wonderful, the shutters make the rooms nice and dark, screens are attached everywhere, the shower is a bit small for tall Dutch people like us. Lina and Mario were super helpful and communicative. Villages in the area are nice to visit. Don't expect large crowds of tourists, you can visit ruins on your own (in June at least). Some roads in the area chosen by navigation are 'adventurous' to drive. The main roads are easy to do.

We absolutely fell in love with Casa dell Bellazza! It truly touched our hearts and we will treasure the time we spent here listening to the birds, drinking wine and enjoying the evening. Monica is a fabulous host!!! She is so warm, kind and pays attention to details. We hope to return soon!

Very nice, super attentive and everything was perfect

We had a fabulous 9 night stay at Luciano’s beautiful apartment. It is even better than shown in the photos and the view from the outside terrace and main living area is stunning. It is very central to Sulmona which has many fabulous restaurants and bars but also very quiet and peaceful and the whole apartment is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking in which we did a few times using the fresh local produce from the market. Luciano met us on arrival to show us round the apartment and have some great restaurant recommendations. We were in Sulmona for hiking and there are many excellent choices in the Sulmona area. It was our first visit to this area but we would love to return and would definitely stay at Luciano’s place.

Really wonderful experience. The house is cozy, clean and well stocked with everything you need. Lella is an exceptional host, always available and attentive to the needs of guests. She gave us excellent directions for check-in and was very caring. The location is ideal for exploring Pescasseroli and its surroundings. We appreciated the tranquility of the place and the possibility of taking pleasant walks. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Lucia's house is in a wonderful location, in the center of the village, which is a gem. We have traveled numerous paths without ever having to move the car. The playground is a few minutes' walk away and our children were very happy. Lucia and her husband were really hospitable and supported us in everything. We'll be back!

We are a family with 2 year old twins and everyone (including children) we loved our stay in Enrica's apartment. The house is very clean, the area is really quiet and access to the parking lot directly with the elevator has made it easier to get around, especially in case of rain. Enrica and Mrs. Maria Vittoria were really kind, helpful and ready to provide us with support when we needed it. We absolutely recommend Enrica's apartment!!!!

We spent five nights in this apartment and had a great time. It was clean, well organized and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. A big plus is the location: very central, but with the possibility of finding parking easily, which is rare in the city! We really appreciated the attention to detail: there was toilet paper, shampoo, salt, pepper, oil, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tablets, sugar, as well as a wide choice of dishes, glasses, plates and pans. Everything was designed to make us feel at home. +++ for the first aid kit! We highly recommend this apartment!
