Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Castel di Sangro

We had absolutely an incredible experience at this place. The family of Alessio including Mary, Ivana, Gino and Forchetta was full of hospitality. Their house is on a hill looking over scenic landscape. Our space included every amenity and provided a peaceful experience for the time we spent here. We also had the opportunity to sit down with family and enjoy the home cooked meal by Ivana and wine by Gino. Mary was very knowledgeable and along with Alessio kept us entertained. We were lucky to have Alessio play his instrument for us over dinner which surprisingly he picked up only a short time ago. We had a rental car so made it very convenient to check out nearby places. We visited Ortona which was about 30 mins drive and rented bicycles to ride the infamous Costa deli Trabocchi and went for a swim in the mare. Overall our experience was beyond amazing and we would definitely recommend Alessio and his place.

A memorable stay - the views were stunning, and Claudia was a fantastic host. Her communication was warm, clear, and timely throughout. Highly recommended.

Das Haus von Alessio ist etwas ganz besonders. Es hebt sich positiv vom AirBnB Mainstream ab. Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll dekoriert und bestens ausgestattet. Alles ist im perfekten Zustand und sehr geschmackvoll. Ich habe mich sofort zu hause gefühlt. Es wartet auch eine kleine Besonderheit auf einen, die ich hier aber nicht verraten möchte. Das Badezimmer ist hervorragend, die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und das Schlafzimmer samt Bett sehr gemütlich. Ein wunderbarer Ort um die wunderschöne Gegend, den Nationalpark und die vielen anderen Attraktionen zu besuchen. Das Dorf ist wunderschön und eine Perle der Abruzzen. Man kann die Geschichte der Mauern förmlich hören und spüren. Ich habe wirklich viel von der Welt bereisen dürfen und dieser Ort und Alessio´s Haus, sind etwas sehr besonderes.

Our stay was lovely! How often do you stay in a medieval fortification/castle on top of a mountain? Cozy rooms, everything you need with breathtaking views! Our hosts were very attentive to our needs and helpful with getting us oriented and settled in. My wife and I highly recommend this property.

Outstanding! Not much else to say. Giusy is a great host and her unit has everything anyone could need. Communication was excellent, the greeting was very nice and she was always available to help. 5 STAR.

L'appartamento è sito in un paesino tranquillo, sul lago, distante una 40 di minuti dalle piste di Montepratello. E' stato molto facile trovarlo grazie alle indicazioni fornite da Anna (anche corredate da foto). C'è possibilità di parcheggio gratuito vicino l'abitazione. La casa era accogliente, calda (siamo stati in inverno), pulita e cono tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. C'erano anche dei bigliettini per dei ristoranti in zona (molto utili in quanto abbiamo cenato in paese). Torneremmo volentieri in questa casa.

The house is located in the most beautiful alley, it has everything you need, spotless clean. Located in an area of Italy that is a hidden gem. But the best part of staying there was the hosts. Sara and Alessandro are the most welcoming, open hearted people I’ve met. They love people, and their village. they host with passion and with patience. I was traveling alone and they made me feel I was home. They also have the best tips for things to do around, and are doing these amazing e bike experiences. The best place to stay when visiting Abruzzo!!!!

Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Arpino bij Wednesday! Het huisje is zo gezellig en smaakvol ingericht, het uitzicht is onbetaalbaar. Wij kwamen hier helemaal tot rust en hebben ten volle genoten! Ook Arpino zelf is een leuk charmant dorpje en iedereen is er vriendelijk. Wednesday had goede tips voor de omgeving! We raden het ten zeerste aan! :-)

Casa di Blue Dream is a lovely quiet and private apartment. It is very bright and airy with a huge sliding door to the patio. It is recommended you have a bike or car to commute to restaurants or the beach. The space was very clean. The wifi fast and easy to connect to. The water pressure for the shower surprisingly good but remember to save water when you can! The host was very helpful after my train was late.

One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

Nicola’s apartment is very comfortable convenient for Guardiagrele and is very modest and well appointed. We really appreciated the free breakfast at a near by cafe in the middle of Guardiagrele and the information Nicola provided 😊

Siamo stati benissimo : piccolo appartamento ma super funzionale. Pulitissimo con tutto quello che occorre per un piacevole soggiorno. Silenzioso. Il borghetto super carino. Fabiola disponibilissima.

We hebben met twee personen één week in dit appartement verbleven. Het appartement is praktisch en eenvoudig ingericht maar zeer schoon. Vanuit dit appartement vele dagtrips gemaakt in dit prachtige natuurgebied. Ook zijn er heerlijke restaurants, bakker, slager en minisupermarkt op loopafstand te bereiken. Goede wifi aanwezig en de host was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor 4 personen vind ik het appartement aan de kleine kant maar voor twee personen is het prima. Zeker een aanrader om alle omliggende dorpjes te bezoeken.

I stay at Arturo's place frequently. There is such a warm welcome and the location is perfect for Cassino town centre, shopping and railway station. The terrace is a large enjoyable space. Beds are very comfortable. Its secure and safe. Arturo is a great host; comunication with him is easy and response times are excellent.

Geweldige, stille plek waar je helemaal tot rust kunt komen. Ligbedden en een hangmat naast de fruitboomgaard, bergen als uitzicht, bezoekjes van een rode wouw en gekraagde roodstaarten voor de vogelliefhebbers, vuurvliegjesshow in de avond en een dwergooruil in de verte. Wie van natuur houdt, houdt van deze plek. Het bed is heerlijk, de luiken maken de ruimtes goed donker, overal zijn horren bevestigd, de douche is wat klein voor grote Nederlanders als wij zijn. Lina en Mario waren superbehulpzaam en communicatief. Dorpjes in de omgeving zijn leuk om te bezoeken. Verwacht geen grote toeristenmassa’s, ruines bezoeken doe je lekker alleen (in juni in elk geval). Sommige door navigatie gekozen wegen in de omgeving zijn ‘avontuurlijk’ om te rijden. De hoofdwegen zijn prima te doen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei Monica. Ihr Casa della Bellezza macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Zwischen Olivenbäumen lässt es sich perfekt entspannen. Monica ist eine tolle und gastfreundliche Person und und hat es an rein gar nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt🌞Außerdem hat die Umgebung einiges zu bieten. Seien es Wanderungen in den Nationalparks, Ausflüge an die Ostküste oder ein Tagestrip nach Rom. Wir hoffen, dass wir irgendwann noch einmal zu Monica in ihr kleines Paradies kommen können.

We had a fabulous 9 night stay at Luciano’s beautiful apartment. It is even better than shown in the photos and the view from the outside terrace and main living area is stunning. It is very central to Sulmona which has many fabulous restaurants and bars but also very quiet and peaceful and the whole apartment is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking in which we did a few times using the fresh local produce from the market. Luciano met us on arrival to show us round the apartment and have some great restaurant recommendations. We were in Sulmona for hiking and there are many excellent choices in the Sulmona area. It was our first visit to this area but we would love to return and would definitely stay at Luciano’s place.

Esperienza davvero splendida. La casa è accogliente, pulita e ben fornita di tutto il necessario. Lella è un host eccezionale, sempre disponibile e attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti. Ci ha fornito ottime indicazioni per il check-in e si è dimostrata molto premurosa. La posizione è ideale per esplorare Pescasseroli e i suoi dintorni. Abbiamo apprezzato la tranquillità del luogo e la possibilità di fare piacevoli passeggiate. Torneremo sicuramente! Consigliatissimo!

La casa di Lucia è in una posizione stupenda, in centro al paese che è un gioiellino. Abbiamo percorso numerosi sentieri senza mai dover spostare l'auto. Il parco giochi dista qualche minuto a piedi e i nostri bimbi sono stati felicissimi. Lucia e suo marito sono stati davvero ospitali e ci hanno supportato in tutto. Torneremo!

Siamo una famiglia con due gemellini di 2 anni e tutti (bambini compresi) abbiamo adorato il nostro soggiorno nell'appartamento di Enrica. La casa è molto pulita, la zona davvero silenziosa e l'accesso al parcheggio direttamente con l'ascensore ha facilitato tutti i nostri spostamenti, soprattutto in caso di pioggia. Enrica e la signora Maria Vittoria sono state davvero gentili, disponibili e pronte a fornirci supporto quando ne abbiamo avuto bisogno. Consigliamo assolutamente l'appartamento di Enrica!!!!

Abbiamo trascorso cinque notti in questo appartamento e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Era pulito, ben organizzato e dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Un grande punto a favore è la posizione: centralissima, ma con la possibilità di trovare parcheggio facilmente, cosa rara in città! Abbiamo apprezzato molto l'attenzione ai dettagli: c'erano carta igienica, shampoo, sale, pepe, olio, detersivo per i piatti, pastiglie per la lavastoviglie, zucchero, oltre a un'ampia scelta di stoviglie, bicchieri, piatti e padelle. Tutto era pensato per farci sentire a casa. +++ per l’’astuccio pronto soccorso! Consigliamo vivamente questo appartamento!
