Holiday rentals in Cartwright Settlement

No Plans was just incredible! The hosts were amazing and followed up with us very quickly with any questions we had. The home was beautiful and very private with a lovely front beach and palm trees. Everything you could ask for was in the home and the decor was very beachy and relaxing. The sunsets from the screened porches were straight out of a movie stunning. They provided linens and towels, bath & beach and had every appliance or kitchen need you could think of. The furniture was comfortable and clean. The beds felt like clouds! lol I even asked for the name of the mattresses! We hope to return to No Plans many times in the future. If you’re looking for water front, private beach, boat mooring, all the comforts of home, this is the place! The house and property: Peaceful. Pristine. Private. The host: Friendly. Knowledgeable. Responsive. Our family had a wonderful time at House Marlin! Cathy is a friendly, responsive, knowledgeable host. Check-in was easy. The house is clean and had all the amenities our family needed. We were steps from the beach and our kids loved the pool.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa de Bahamas for a full week and absolutely loved everything about the trip and the house! The space is very roomy and could easily fit more people. The house is conveniently located ~20 minutes from the Stella Maris Airport and a short drive to the grocery store and other popular destinations on the island. The home itself is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, towels, bugspray, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties). The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We were blown away by the beach and the natural beauty of the outdoor space. The island itself is very quiet and you practically have the beach to yourself - it's a perfect spot to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle. We met many ocean friends including, starfish, sea turtles and a stingray! A few things not noted: - The outdoor space has a firepit that included a bundle of firewood - the stars at night were the best we have ever seen! - Dmitri connected us with a rental car option about a week before our trip which was very convenient - highly recommend renting a car, be sure to bring cash to pay for the car rental. - The island and the home are surrounded by natural beauty and with that comes outdoor friends - sand mites at dawn and dusk, we also ran into small scorpions outside. We didn't have a problem with bugs indoors and the house is stocked with bug spray. - The flowers and bird feeders bring around tons of hummingbirds which was a lovely surprise. - The pool is deeper than we thought and is a saltwater pool which we liked. We highly recommend Casa de Bahamas and can't wait to return!!!

Can't say enough about Kelly and Josh! Very responsive and sent out a maintenance person next day for a minor issue. Don't be fooled by only having one review. My wife and I originally found them on VRBO for the same property with plenty of reviews but booked on Airbnb as I have an established account here. Short 4-5 minute walk to one of the most stunning beaches in Exuma, Tropic of Cancer. Very short drive to Pretty Molly and Forbes Hill Beach, oasis like beaches with stunning rock formations on the sides. Would definatley book again!! Thanks Kelly

We had a great stay here and would return 100%! PROS - Easy check-in and check-out. - Great location - Peaceful, close to the airport and other places, however you will need a car to get around. - Very clean and no clutter inside. Hot showers, lots of towels, large open plan areas. - All AC's worked great and we were all comfortable inside. - Location felt safe. CONS - Not really cons, more things to note. - There is a flight of stairs to enter the apartment. This didn't bother us at all but could be difficult for others to carry cases etc. up the stairs. - The kitchen didn't have power during our stay, however the host kindly offered us one that was just across the hallway which worked great for us. - The outside had great wildlife like money bats, lizards etc. however we did find a small scorpion in some clothes we left outside to dry. Again, this didn't bother us as it's nature and what we came to see! However we felt it was important to write this so others are aware.

My colleague and I enjoyed our stay. The ambiance was great and it was centrally located. The accommodation was spacious and we certainly felt safe. You will need a car rental to get around. The host and property management team on the ground were responsive and hospitable.

It was a pleasure, to stay at Michaels Apartment in Long Island. Michael did everything that I and my friend had an awesome and chilled vacation. He worked out, that we will get a car over there, which was super nice - since we thought you can just rent it at the airport, but not in Long Island :D So do it beforeor ask Michael :) ! Unfortunately he couldn't be at the house during our stay, but he texted every eveningto make sure we had fun and everything is alright. Thank you so much for that! The accomodation is super nice. There is a ton of space, the kitchen is already equipped, so you don't need to bring anything. Also: His assistant is super nice and friendly, brought us fresh mangos EVERY day (!!!) and some coconuts :) it was great! There are living just around 3000 people on the island, so it is actually VERY unlikely to see a person while you're at the beach, which is actually quite amazing. Thank you so mich for taking care of us! It was an awesome vacation :)

Centrally located to both the north and south ends of the island. Close to the primary gas station and food store. Great view of both the Atlantic and Caribbean sea.
