Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

I have stayed in many places. Massimo's place is by far the best. He takes great care of the guests and is very kind and welcoming. His place has everything you need and it is very clean and spacious. He has thought about all the details so his place is very well equipped. We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Our stay at Claudia’s was nothing short of fabulous - her home was a highlight of our two days in Como. We were so eager to enjoy her patio and view of the city / lake we opted to eat dinner at home both nights of our stay. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated, and Claudia gave us great recommendations to make our time the best possible.

An absolute dream come true. I don’t know where to begin. The property itself was exactly what I wanted. A small cabin surrounded by nature and homegrown vegetable gardens. Sheep and horses too. It was so much better than pictured. Very relaxing space inside and out. A hidden gem. The real highlight of the space is the owner, Fabio though! He is the warmest, most welcoming and giving host (now friend) I have ever met. The kitchen was stocked with most every essential and then some. Fresh fruit, bread, milk, yogurt and so much more. The list of incredible things could continue but what was so special was getting to know Fabio. Though a short amount of time together, the conversations felt special. I will never forget this experience. I was sad my trip didn’t allow me more time to spend there. I truly look forward to returning someday soon for a much longer stay.
