Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Carmel Valley

Sean's cottage is an absolute delight, we moved in as though it was our own home. Worth reading previous reviews mentioning building works next door. As we were prepared for this (they started 8am promptly Mon-Fri), also ants (which didn't show up) and the racoon in the bins (which did show up) none of this was an issue, and was reflected in the reduced rental. Sean was an excellent host, replied speedily to any queries, including calling a plumber for a minor problem. The cottage is the most homely of places, there's everything you could need, the kitchen is generously equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The pretty patio is full of flowers and birds. Since it was April, we were not outside in the evenings, but it seems noise is an issue with neighbours. There are polite but firm notices requesting no outside noise after 9pm which could be difficult on hot summer evenings. This was one of our favourite Airbnbs, the location is fabulous, so much to do, we were busy all the time

Great stay here! Home was cozy and had everything we needed. Enjoyed making coffee and sitting on the deck in the morning. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes away. We needed extra chairs and an umbrella and Kathryn had those items in the closet that we were able to use. Hope to visit again.

This home was the perfect home away from home for our family vacation. It’s set back just enough to feel private, safe, and quiet. The open layout was ideal for keeping us connected as a family, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, easy to get to everything, which is especially important when there’s so much to explore. There are also great casual dining options close by, which made mealtime simple and stress-free. We had such a special stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing, and convenient home base for their trip.

Perfect location for us while visiting family in the area and attending my Grandma’s 95th birthday celebration all while still feeling like we were on a remote vacation for my own little family. We definitely plan to return!! Thank you Carli and Team!!

We came to Monterey for a wedding and were lucky to stay in this beautiful house for an extended weekend. It’s the cleanest and best-stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is huge and has every gadget or accessory you might need—and it’s stocked with thoughtful extras like popcorn, s'mores supplies and coffee. The 4th bedroom is a little unique, but it worked perfectly for our group. It’s downstairs and isn’t accessible from inside the main house. You reach it by going down the steep driveway and a few stairs. It’s easy to find once you know it’s there, but challenging for someone with mobility issues. I spent about 5 minutes searching the top floor for it before calling the property manager—who was incredibly friendly & responsive. Everything was spotless, and the location is super convenient. We wish we had more time to enjoy the house, but we were busy celebrating with family and friends from around the world. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit Monterey!

I stayed at this Airbnb for a single night and overall had a positive experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While the price was on the higher side, it’s understandable given its excellent proximity to the Pacific Grove coast—just a short walk away, which made for a beautiful and convenient stay. Perfect spot if you’re looking to explore the area and enjoy the coastal scenery. Great location, decent amenities, and a smooth check-in process. Would consider staying again for a longer trip! Stayed with my husband and parents here for our wedding week that was happening in the area. The place was plenty spacious for 4 people! Much better than a hotel room would’ve been. Gave us quality time cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the living room, enjoying the hottub & heated pool and the beach! The ocean view from the dining table and the front porch is STUNNING!! The place is nice, well kept, and has everything you need! Any small things that popped up, Patti was helpful and fixed right away! Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a really lovely stay at Lisa's place. The setting is really beautiful and peaceful and the space is lovely and cosy. There were lots of thoughtful touches and Lisa was super friendly and easy to communicate with.

we loved our weekend at the Poppy Farm. we had one issue, and Karina addressed it immediately, going above and beyond as a host. this is a cute little cottage with a beautiful deck and gorgeous view. it's away from the hustle and bustle is Carmel by the Sea, yet close enough to run over for a meal.

My family and I are looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this house was the maximum it has everything you need to relax from a good bed to a pool if you're thinking about it stop and book now!

This was such a lovely little oasis. It was so quiet and peaceful. The location was great, just a short drive to downtown Carmel and nature walks. We loved to sit out on the patio in the evening enjoying the space.

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

Loved staying here with my small pup, Klay. He had the private patio to himself and we both enjoyed the spacious cantina. It was a great and affordable landing spot for us both to explore Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur!!

Staying at this Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, with everything I could need—toiletries to fast Wi-Fi .The host went above and beyond, checking in to ensure everything was perfect. It felt less like a rental and more like a five-star boutique hotel with the heart of a home. I truly didn’t want to leave!” This is a real heartfelt space in the middle of my home town that provided the soulful connection to home.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming one-bedroom flat in Carmel! Everything was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The space had a warm, cozy feel and plenty of natural light. The flat was very unique - tucked away in a downtown alleyway past some restaurant outdoor seating to a private courtyard and stone staircase leading to the door, straight out of a romace movie. The location is the best you could ask for to enjoy downtown Carmel, just steps away from great restaurants, art galleries, and boutique shops . We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the private patio and opening the front windows for the cool morning breeze. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in extremely simple for us. If you’re looking for a peaceful and extremely functional place to stay in Carmel with easy access to everything the area has to offer, I highly recommend this adorable downtown flat. I would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely, cozy, artisticly designed 6 person home with vibrant atmosphere. Clean, relaxing jacuzzi which required 2 people to remove and replace cover to use. We especially appreciated the food, snacks, and beverages provided by host.

Great spot with everything you need. Perfect downtown location - walking distance to the beach as well as all the best restaurants in Carmel. The house was clean and cozy. Great for a couples or family trip alike.
