Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Carmel-by-the-Sea

The home is amazing for families of small children. We had 6 adults and 3 kids under 2. Meli provided strollers, high chairs, booster seats, kids plates and cups, and more. It was very easy for a Family vacation. We would happily stay again.

Sean's cottage is an absolute delight, we moved in as though it was our own home. Worth reading previous reviews mentioning building works next door. As we were prepared for this (they started 8am promptly Mon-Fri), also ants (which didn't show up) and the racoon in the bins (which did show up) none of this was an issue, and was reflected in the reduced rental. Sean was an excellent host, replied speedily to any queries, including calling a plumber for a minor problem. The cottage is the most homely of places, there's everything you could need, the kitchen is generously equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The pretty patio is full of flowers and birds. Since it was April, we were not outside in the evenings, but it seems noise is an issue with neighbours. There are polite but firm notices requesting no outside noise after 9pm which could be difficult on hot summer evenings. This was one of our favourite Airbnbs, the location is fabulous, so much to do, we were busy all the time

This house was amazing -- would love to stay here again. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were well stocked and super clean! The bikes and surfboards were an amazing addition to an already beautiful house. We wished we could of stayed longer to take advantages of all the extras! My family enjoyed the hot tub. We will be back! Thank you!

Great home for the family to relax in. It was close to all the desired attractions that we wanted to go see, but provided the home like feel that you don’t get at hotels. The backyard was great for our little one, and the spare room offered an abundance of children’s toys which was an unexpected surprise. Have already had friends and family reach out to stay here and will definitely be back.

Great place to stay - nice walks along the coast and just a few miles from Cannery Row. The place was very clean and has you feeling just like home. Would love to stay again in the future.

Dean’s place was great in terms of location, size and privacy. We’re familiar with pacific grove/monterey area so we knew what we were looking for. The house has (2) bathrooms which is great and appreciated as (1) bathroom abnb in the area are commonplace but with more than 3 people it’s great to have 2. House is located directly across from ocean walking path. You cross street and you are on the water-10 min walk to aquarium, cannery row, 10 min walk the other direction and you’re at lovers point restaurant. 10 min walk to downtown PG for many restaurants. Clean house, would stay there again for sure. Wife and I were there this time with 17yo nephew, 14yo and 12 yo sons. Plenty of space.

Our family had a wonderful time soaking in the spectacular mountain views and embracing nature’s beauty. We loved our unexpected encounters with the local deer family, watching quail cross the streets, and discovering fascinating California native plants. Surprise to find items we need in the pantry and refrigerator, made us feel right at home. The comfortable mattresses and bedding ensured a restful sleep, even with the mysterious sounds of the wild surrounding the house at night. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Super cute spot in a really convenient spot in Aptos. Was perfect for my family while visiting from out of state. Matthew and Sarah were great hosts and very communicative!

Quaint second floor apartment with multiple balconies, glimpse of the ocean and downtown views of Pacific Grove. Easy to access and great for a couple people to stay and enjoy the area. Limited parking time limits.

The unit is well appointed with a full kitchen and two en-suite rooms. Heating and AC available and with a lovely fire place. The location is unbeatable. With parking space onsite and close to supermarkets restaurants and yet still quiet at night. Very clean and clean towels and linens. Will stay here again for our next visit to Carmel by the sea.

Jeffrey’s bungalow felt like a home away from home. It was perfect for a quiet weekend in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Easily accessible from the town center, I loved walking around, discovering all of the local delights. Highly recommend for a warm welcome and a comforting dose of hospitality.

The unit was great and exactly as described - very well appointed, clean, well decorated and in a great neighbourhood. Very convenient to places around Santa Cruz and obviously SC is very central to a lot of nice places to visit - SFO, Carmel, Monterey Bay, Silicon Valley. Check-in was easy, appreciate the convenience of a combination entrance, checkout instructions were not onerous, just common sense. All in all, had a great stay, will gladly stay again in Ben's place next time we are in Santa Cruz

This house was a beautiful and it provides easy access to everything that Pacific Grove and Monterrey had to offer. When you walked into the house, it felt like home. Most importantly, Jane was the perfect host. She is always available to make your stay enjoyable. Everything we needed was there. I love sitting in the living room sofa and enjoying the great views. I loved the outside fire pit for those cold days when you wanted to sit and watch the world go by and to watch the seals sleeping across the street. You could not do any better than this place. My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and well-maintained, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning and added a special touch to the experience. On top of that, the host was outstanding—extremely responsive and genuinely committed to ensuring a great stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate any needs, which made everything seamless. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Great View and Weather!

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

We were up for a wedding in Monterey with 10 adults sharing the house, Nick's place was perfect for what we needed and the location/views are amazing. The decor is a little dated but the functionally was there, Nick communicates really well and I think you'll enjoy the serenity of his house.

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The host was responsive and easy to work with, and the resort itself is stunning—perched above the water with incredible views. The home was spotless inside and out, and everything worked exactly as it should. We honestly wished we didn’t have to leave. It was the perfect place for us to escape the grind of unending obligations and just relax. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like; if we had one small wish, it would be for all three TVs to be smart TVs. We’ll definitely be booking this same place again the next time we’re in the area.

Great home with gorgeous views of the redwoods!! We were all confused as to why there was no dish soap or trash bags to use, but it had everything else!!
