Holiday rentals with a kayak in Caribbean Sea

This was our third stay at Casa Dulce and it will NOT be our last. Great location in Playacar Fase 1 with a private pool to cool off in after walking around 5th Avenue (about 10 minute walk) or spending the day at the beach which is less than 2 blocks from the home. Alizee sent an email before our arrival with restaurant suggestions as well as suggestions of things to do. The AC was a definite plus. We would turn it on before bed and the room was nice and cool for sleeping. Highly recommend this Airbnb location in Playa del Carmen

Absolutely loved my stay here! The surroundings were stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect escape from the city. There was plenty of space to relax, both indoors and out, with cozy spots to hang out and unwind. The boat dock was a real highlight—perfect for morning coffee or just soaking in the view. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for guests. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

La pasamos muy bien, la casa, el lugar te conecta con la naturaleza y te relaja. Hay muchas opciones para nadar con mayor segurodad en la laguna, si no eres un experto nadador.

It’s hard to put into words what an amazing trip we had and how much this wonderful place contributed to that. It was quiet, private, and even had a private beach within walking distance. Everything you needed for cooking was in the kitchen, and the rooms are nicely separated for privacy. Our favorite part was Soldier, our island dog, who loved to walk us to the beach every day and was waiting for us when we woke up. The location of this place was great and that it is close to grocery shopping, the airport and some cute restaurants. We will definitely plan to visit again. Great place with great hosts!

We had two families stay at the Happy Yellow Beach House and we loved every minute! Accessing the beach was a short walk down a lovely path, the pool and hot tub were so much fun and the house was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic essentials and we had plenty of towels. It was so convenient to be able to do laundry as well. We loved the bakery and new restaurant at the end of the street and went to the Luquillo Kiosks a few times - it was a great location - easy travel from San Juan! Manny was an excellent host and took care of all our needs, provided recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thank you for a wonderful visit and sharing your piece of PR heaven with us!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Cristina was very helpful to offer suggestions of things to do on the island. Check in was simple - we were greeted at the gate and given a tour of the property. Marcela and Andres were attentive to anything we needed during our stay and kept the house in great condition. The house is private, quiet, and away from town which is exactly what we wanted. There is a lot to do within the house - swimming pool, ping pong table, hot tub, billiards, outdoor hammocks, or just lounging inside playing games. Each bedroom was spacious and the house was clean. When ready to visit all the island has to offer, a 20 minute mulita ride is all it takes. We highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun and relaxing stay.

Wow! What can we say that hasn’t already been said?! The Blue Pearl Cottage is exquisite - much larger and more polished than the photos suggest. The love poured into the cottage is evident, and the finish is excellent. Thoughtful touches like sun cream, mosquito spray, and even the offer to do laundry make you feel truly cared for. Arno is incredibly engaging - we had such fun with him on the snorkel tour and highly recommend it. We’re not sure where else on the island you could get a better experience or deal. The bay is very private, with incredibly clear and warm water - perfect for snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking. Long Bay Beach is only a 10-minute walk away and quickly became one of our favorite beaches in Antigua. We loved being able to keep the windows and doors open at night, thanks to the cottage’s privacy, and we never needed air conditioning during our stay in late May. Puss Puss the cat was the icing on the cake - such a gentle creature whose company we loved.

From the get go we felt very welcome and at home. Harriet and her assistant, Tia were both there to greet us upon arrival and settled us into the property. The cottage is beautifully appointed with quality furnishings and appliances and spotlessly clean. The setting is wonderful : pristine beach, extremely quiet and it felt like we were on our own island paradise. Plenty of furniture in the well manicured gardens, which lead straight onto the beach with plenty of options for sun and shade. We particularly enjoyed taking the kayaks out early each morning into the large bay area with still and beautifully clear warm water. Thank you Harriet for a wonderful and memorable stay in your beautiful property !

The hubby and I absolutely loved our stay! We loved the privacy and beauty of this place. We enjoyed watching sunrises from the palapa and star gazing on our balcony at night. This place oozes charm and I was so sad to leave.

Das Haus ist ein Traum !!! Es liegt in einem herrlichen Garten und ist trotzdem nur 1 min zu Fuß vom Meer entfernt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr groß, ruhig und top ausgestattet. Es gibt zum Beispiel Kayaks, Kinder Sandspielzeug, Yogamatten, Regenschirme (was durchaus praktisch war), viele spiele und Bücher, sogar Lego, Waschmaschine, Trockner (was auch durchaus praktisch war 😉) und die Küche hat wirklich alles was man braucht. Auch gibts tolle Gadgets, wie Holztische und Bänke die man wegklappen kann. So nehmen sie kein Platz innen weg, doch wenn’s regnet und man Platz braucht hat man schnell einen großen Esstisch… usw… Steve ist ein super Gastgeber, hat uns klasse empfangen und uns viele Tipps, Telefonnummern und Empfehlungen gegeben. Wir haben auch einen halben Tag mit einem Bekannten von ihm eine private Tour zu Verschiedenen Zielen gemacht was wir 100% weiter empfehlen können ! Vielen Dank nochmal für alles !!! Ich hoffe wir können irgendwann wieder kommen. Grüße an Niña…

It's hard to put into words *just* how magical our stay was at Angélica & Simon's home. My family and I spent 9 lovely days playing in the surf, reading on the veranda, eating all the mangoes our stomachs could manage. Simon went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, and the house is filled with hand-painted maps, recommendations, and decorations that Angélica clearly put her heart into. When you arrive, you immediately feel at home. We will never forget our stay in La Rada (or Pina y Milou)!

Absolutely fantastic. The plunge pool exceeded expectations and was very well kept. We found out later in our trip how amazing that shady paradise really was. The dock was a great place to sit and lookout over the ocean for coffee.. for drinks.. for reading- it was incredible. The location, as described, is a little bit north of the main Placencia village, but there were still a few places to walk to and get a nice meal. Otherwise you'd have to rent or taxi to town and then walk around. Most communication for taxis and such were done over Whats App which was really convenient with lots of wifi available around town at the bars/restaurants. Everything was as described. We would definitely come back.

This may be the coolest AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The view is spectacular and you can’t find a more remote spot than this. Jerry did everything you could ask from a host and he truly owns a piece of paradise. The path coming in can be a little bumpy, but it is certainly worth it. Do yourself a favor and book this place!

The house was very pretty and clean. Isabelle and Gilles were very responsive.

we had some trouble getting there because the direction and location given an Airbnb were absolutely wrong which unfortunately left us Walking In The Heat with heavy backpacks for about an hour and a half, communicating with the host who thank God was very responsive and ultimately send a taxi for us. once they were there the place was super cute, I would say there are a lot of cabins in the houses crammed into a small space that isn't quite apparent on the photos but it was very quiet although we did pull all the curtains to have some privacy. some staff giving a tour walked right in front of our deck as soon as we got there to show off the lounge area which is several stair steps down from where this cabin is. unfortunately have to close all the curtains all the time because people are walking around everywhere right at eye level. all on all we enjoyed it I thought it was a great location for the value and would certainly come back again

Es un sitio perfecto para descansar y disfrutar en familia. Tiene todo para hacer de unas vacaciones perfectas. Los anfitriones super atentos. Las playas del francés son una joya escondida del mar caribe Colombiano. Aracelly muy atenta y servicial. La tienda que hay atras es muy bien dotada y util. Volveremos sin duda.

This cabana was perfect for us. It is in the heart of Hopkins to get a really great feel for the town. Very walkable to many good restaurants. Loved the convenience of the grocery store. The cabana is exactly as described and pictured. The loft stairs are more of a ladder but were easy for us to navigate. Kevin and Patty happened to be in town and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Excellent air conditioning and internet if you need it. We drove from Belize City using Crystal auto rentals. It was very easy and we felt safe the entire time. We also took very easy drives to Palencia and Cockscomb. We will be back!

This stay and the views were unreal! The our door area / view is priceless. House was very clean, and no complaints at all. Check in was easy. The only things I would point out is WiFi can be spotty at times (as expected, just a heads up for anyone who may need 24/7 access to it), and keep in mind it is about 30 minutes out from downtown La Fortuna which was no problem to us as we had a car to drive ourselves. Those are not cons though, only heads ups! There is no where else I would have rather stayed during our trip and our expectations were beyond exceeded! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to La Fortuna!

Excelente espacio, vale mucho la pena

This place is awesome. Secluded yet right by everything. The tree frogs come out at night and sing you to sleep and the tropical birds awake you in the morning. There is a bit of a construction site near by, so a bit of noise if you like to sleep in, but nothing too major. You can walk anywhere in town that is necessary, but we had a car and found parking easy and convenient. Host was responsive the whole time and extremely helpful. The hot tub made this place feel truly amazing. 10/10 recommend

Le cadre est magnifique! L'eau devant la cabane est très calme et claire, c'est l'idéal pour observer les poissons avec les enfants. L'espace extérieur est amenagé de façon agréable et les environs sont très tranquilles. Il y a un hôtel avec un restaurant juste à côté pour les déjeuners et ils proposent les autres repas à des prix corrects. Juan est très aidant pour les questions d'entretien et de visites à faire dans les environs. La cuisine pourrait être mieux équipée. Nous avons adoré notre pause sur l'île!

Amazing and beautiful property, that will be very high on my list to return to. Joao and his wife were amazing hosts, we arrived early, and yet they graciously welcomed us. Not only that, but Joao then invited us to join him on a horseback ride through the Jungle, that was one of the many highlights of my trip. If you get a chance to try take his horses out, say yes! you will not regret it. The property itself has everything for a very relaxing trip, the pool overlooking the ocean along with the many hammocks give are perfect spots to relax and take in the scenery. You can tell this is a well loved property by the owners, and is one of the best values I have ever experience in an airbnb. Thanks for a great trip, I hope to be back soon!
