Bungalow holiday rentals in Caribbean Sea

We had a very good stay, the accommodation is in a very quiet private residence and is separate from the main house of the hosts. The apartment is very well equipped (deckchair, outdoor shower, barbecue...) but beware of a lot of mosquitoes. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive.

Wonderful value accommodation next to national park. Plenty of wildlife outside of your door, comfy and clean. Would return and 100% recommend!

We had a very good weekend with 4. Port of Trois-Rivières nearby where we can take the boat to Les Saintes. Lots of shops in the area. Very nice accommodation, we were able to fully enjoy the jacuzzi with an incredible view. A big thank you to Françoise who welcomed us with all her kindness and professionalism. Mahayana will forever hold a sacred place in the hearts of my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with care, setting the tone for what became one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. Tulum is pure magic! Even before our arrival, communication was thoughtful making check-in effortless. We were greeted with a tour of the beautiful beach community, and the staff made us feel right at home. Every evening, we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean…so close it felt like the waves were crashing right inside our room. It was soul-soothing. Housekeeping kept our bungalow pristine, always refreshed and ready after long days exploring the sacred cenotes, vibrant culture, and breathtaking nature of Tulum. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, close enough to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel like our own private sanctuary. We are grateful to the entire team at Mahayana. Thank you for creating a space with so much love!

This little gem is absolutely magical. We were picked up in Bocas by the hosts friend and brought to this incredible place with only a 12 min boat ride from bocas. Their pictures don’t even do this place justice. The beauty is even better in person. I recommend eating the breakfast they offer. Absolutely fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure!

What an amazing and peaceful place! The bungalow opens right onto the sea, and we loved sitting in silence, watching the waves, passing boats, and beautiful birds. Just a few meters away is a sandy beach with warm water and starfish to admire. The house provides snorkeling gear and canoes. My husband and I especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, living and dining areas under the incredible thatched roof. James and Lucy were wonderful hosts—super helpful with organizing our boat transfers and checking in about groceries when boats went to the main island. They also connected us with Calypso, a guide for the Salt Creek Community visit (highly recommended) and a talented chef who prepared a delicious Caribbean meal for us. We were there during low season, but a restaurant was open a 10 minute walk away. Everyone we met on the island was delightful. If you love remote, authentic places, this is a true paradise. Going back to the busy world was hard. We could have stayed forever :) Thx!!!

Beautiful cabin and property, nearby beaches are gorgeous especially at sunset. Very responsive to any needs throughout the stay, I would highly recommend.

Christian and Betty are really caring. The day of our arrival they offered us an aperitif, dinner and breakfast the next day. Everything was perfect, we had a great stay, the accommodation is great with the pool just for us with a breathtaking view. We highly recommend the listing.

Staying at Steven’s property in Belize was truly one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. The setting is absolutely breathtaking—surrounded by lush jungle with private hiking trails that lead to stunning natural pool. It felt like our own little paradise. We stayed in the bungalow, which was cozy, comfortable, and immersed in the sounds of nature. Waking up to the calls of the jungle and sipping coffee while watching hummingbirds flit around was pure magic. It brought back such nostalgic memories of my childhood. Steven was a fantastic host—he provided clear directions, thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. 100/10 — we’re already dreaming of coming back.

STOP LOOKING! THIS IS THE ONE! I must’ve analyzed over 30 houses and we just kept coming back to this one. I was very hesitant about the outdoor living for a week, but we decided to take our chances. The mosquitos weren’t as bad as I feared, and the weather was perfect for us the whole time. The ocean breeze kept things nicely cooled. And the A.C. in the room kept it very cool at night. The pictures don’t do it any justice. I woke up with a smile every morning looking at an amazing view of the ocean and listening to the variety of birds singing. There are multiple restaurants and a grocery market/French bakery within 3 minutes. The hostess Gilles is so welcoming and informative. If you ask me what the best part of St. Martin was… It was this house! And if you ask me what the worst part of our trip was…It was leaving the house! Merci beaucoup Gilles!

This is my second stay in this accommodation and I will definitely come back. It's exactly the kind of intimate and fully-equipped place I need for my downtime. The cleanliness of the accommodation and the responsiveness of the host is remarkable. The value for money is good.
