House holiday rentals in Carara

This place was amazing! We have stayed in hermosa many times and love the area. This trip we traveled with 6 couples and a few kids and had plenty of space. The open area common area is big enough for everyone and having the pool was amazing. We truly appreciated the daily maid service and the recommendation for a private chef was incredible. Liza cooked us 5 breakfasts and 3 dinners and all were spectacular, on time, and had plenty of food for everyone (always had leftovers). Not having to waste time grocery shopping or doing dishes was a huge plus! For anyone who may book her just a heads up that the expectation is to pay for groceries after each meal (she provides receipt) and then you’ll pay the service charge at the last meal (it’s very reasonable). It was a little tough for us to communicate so took us some time to put that info together. Figured it’d help someone else! 10000% want to come back and stay here.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing time. The rental is beautiful, it was beyond clean and the design made ir very relaxing. It had the most beautiful view of the ocean and mountains and a perfect pool area.

Great location. About 30 minutes to the beach, 2 hr drive to the volcano. However it was closed due to it being active when we were there. Rescate Wildlife Rescue was a nice last minute add to our trip. Great place to see local wildlife.

Cada espacio de la casa tiene absolutamente todo lo que uno necesita, desde repelente, té, aceite de oliva, un escritorio con artículos de oficina para trabajar tranquilamente, el aire en perfectas condiciones, luces para todos los momentos y necesidades, closets con muchas tohallas, ropa de cama, hasta agua embotellada (eso lo valoré muchísimo) y muchos detalles positivos más.

Excelente estancia, todo muy bonito.Solo los guardas de la entrada principal eran muy lentos y como que no se comunicaran entre ellos fue lo único medio incomodo

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Vanessa was great to work with! Unfortunately we were only there three nights. Vanessa arranged a private chef for the day we arrived. It was my son’s 18th birthday and it was great to have a delicious meal prepared for us after a day traveling. She also handled ordering food delivery for us one night! The access/shuttle to the beach club was great and once again Vanessa took care of that for us as well. We spent the last day at Manuel Antonio National Park with a naturalist that was arranged for us and she was fantastic. The property had a wonderful view and felt very private at the top of the mountain. The kitchen had all that we needed and the pool was a great way to finish each day. If we return to this area we will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was beautiful with stunning views and high quality furnishings. Had all the practical pieces covered with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathrooms (showers), full sized washer dryer, and AC in both bedrooms. Location was very convenient to the main town and shops for groceries. We weren't lucky enough to see a lot of wildlife, just a few toucans, butterflies, and toads. Milena and her on-site team were so responsive and helpful for any question we had. Definitely recommend this gem!

I feel so lucky I got to stay here. This home is located in a private, beach front community with other travelers and locals. The pool was beautiful with a swim up bar and macaws flying over our heads and hanging out in the nearby trees. The home was beautiful and very clean, it was easy to feel at home and get a good night’s rest. The home is beautifully designed yet very cozy. The host was awesome and provided us a list of local food, activities, and more! They didn’t miss a beat. I highly recommend choosing this home for your stay in Costa Rica. Also, Jaco and the surrounding areas are so extremely beautiful. This was the most incredible trips of my life, everyone I met was so cool and friendly, the food was amazing, and the wildlife was breathtaking. If you have the opportunity, please don’t pass it up!

This is such a beautiful, comfortable, and clean home with wonderful views. We spent 6 nights exploring Atenas, and this home is convenient to town and several other attractions. The hostess has a book for guests with great suggestions for what to do and see while in Atenas.

Our stay in Costa Rica was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautiful and perfectly located. We loved everything about it! The host was very friendly and accommodating. Waking up to the sound of birds every morning was incredible, and we saw scarlet macaws and iguanas daily. Overall, it was a perfect experience!

My family and I enjoyed the place very much! It is insanely beautiful, house decor is so unique and very comfortable and friendly people! The only one thing I would say is that in the House photos looks like there’s rooms outside however those are extra cabins in the same property(reserved separately) This home is only 3 Bedrooms, each bedroom has a bathroom which is so nice!

Such an amazing stay all around. The place is absolutely stunning and the most beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. The host are so helpful and absolutely amazing. We went for my fiancés birthday and they helped decorate to surprise him! They also got us groceries before we arrived since we got in late. The location is an easy drive to everything around. The house is exactly as described, beautiful, clean, private, and fully equipped. They even had a book with recommendations for everything you could imagine. 1000/10 stay. 100% recommend!!! Also the AC works amazing :)

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

The house is wonderful, and the pool is a nice place to cool off during the afternoon. The hosts are very responsive and keep the house in great condition. The town is less touristy but we found it very friendly with great restuarants, beaches, and excellent sufing conditions. Would not hesitate to recommend this place for anyone traveling to Costa Rica.

This is truly an incredible place! Private pool, away from the business but close enough to enjoy epic beaches, restaurants and all the other things you want to do. I highly recommend staying here.

This Airbnb is absolutely magical. The views are stunning and Victoria is such a gracious host. She and her husband went out of their way to make me feel at home and make sure I was getting full use of the amenities. Everything was so comfortable and thoughtful. And their property has some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen! Couldn’t recommend more!

Pictures do not do justice to the view from this property ! Host was amazing , recommend renting ATVs , host arranged for them to be delivered for us, we loved riding them into town , to the beaches and visited Montezuma and the tide pools. We look forward to renting this property again on our next visit to the area !

Beautiful place with a great view. Tucked neatly on a sea side cliff with sound of calming waves to wake up to everyday. Great view, Great pool and patio with bbq options, Extra patio with views of the Pacific, Plenty of space and my kids loved the pool. Waves do get rough in the nearby beach so pool is a great alternative. You dont need go to a park to see wildlife when you have it all around you. I saw so many birds I have never seen in my life. Host is very responsive and friendly. Check in is easy. Beach is very clean. Not many cons to list to be honest but a couple things to be aware of - House is deep inside a community/club called Punta Leones and is far from the main road and also gated with security so no food delivery or taxis. - Beach is closeby but you have to walk down and uphill (pretty steep climb) and the club wont let you use their water if you need a shower after beach. Staff there is pretty annoying and chase you arnd to make sure you arent using their water.

My first time to this part of Costa Rica. Second time to the country. I was looking for an adventure and also relaxation. I found both here. Jen has a magical place here in Malpais. The directions, the suggestions of places to go. I loved every minute of my stay. The story is in the details and there are many to be discovered.
