Campsite was gorgeous! The mountains overlooking the site and all of the space, it was perfect. Dogs had plenty of room to run, it was quiet, and about 2-30 mins to the entrance of the Great Sand Dunes NP. Lothar was very communicative and very nice! Follow directions on the listing once you get to the dirt road instead of following google maps. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you love camping and roughing it!

I've been going to Southern CO since I was a child. Up until this stay, we've always driven through Antonito to parts beyond. So happy we made the switch this year. The property was great...super clean...and as was promised. Remote yet close enough to town if needed. Great fishing...so beautiful and peaceful. Exactly what we were looking for this time! Highly recommend!

There was some confusion on arrival, totally my fault, but Fairly was friendly and quick to respond and resolve the situation. The accommodation was clean with a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen and lovely and warm when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub both the evening of arrival and morning before we left. This cabin is highly recommended

Quiet, clean, comfortable and beautiful surroundings! Great place to stay if you are looking to visit the Sand Dunes. Friendly dogs who greet you each morning on your way out and love petting. Wonderful hosts! Private cozy space with all the basic amenities. Would stay again!

What a wonderful place to stay! From the back deck, we watched the sunrise over the mountains every morning. We visited the Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge to observe the migrating Sandhill Cranes, hiked to the frozen Zapata Falls, and sled the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Thanks to Donnie & Carly’s hostess gift, we also enjoyed the hot springs pools in Hooper. Thanks for an enjoyable Colorado getaway.
