Beach house holiday rentals in Capitola

We loved our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is so serene and peaceful, but just a short (beautiful!) walk to all of the action. The house is well stocked with everything you could need. Terri is a great communicator. We would highly recommend and hope to return!

I feel so lucky to have been able to spend 2 nights in this awesome cottage!!! It was my second time in Capitola and I didn’t really understand what Lawn Way was when I booked it. I was so excited when I realized that we would be staying one of these cute colorful historical cottages! Cottage was so clean, comfortable and described exactly. I loved learning about the family history of this cottage... Makes me feel so lucky to have been able to stay here. Bed was super comfy. Super cute inside. Location is unbeatable. The lawn was plush and so nice to lounge on. Perfect!

I can’t boast about this place enough. Holly went above and beyond to communicate with me. She gave lots of recommendations for food places. We tried Manuel’s, Venus, Pizza my Heart, and The Hideout. Hands down, hideout was my favorite! The home was BEAUTIFUL! Literally, a dream! Our kids (12 & 7) loved it too. We celebrated my son’s 7th bday there. We beached every single day! Their home was beautiful, clean, and magical. The hubby and I slept with the doors cracked open upstairs and literally fell asleep and woke up to the crashing waves. Walk across the street and you’re on the beach! It was heaven. I told my family I was depressed coming back home. HA! The backyard was darling! The lights were my favorite & I didn’t realize there was a little sandpit. Such a great gem. We were welcomed with a basket too. Filled with local bread, taffy (my fav), cookies, wine and coffee; Even with a hand written note. I can’t wait to book their home again. It was a dream. Thank you for having us!!

Enjoyed funky decor at Liz’s place, being a quick easy walk to the beach, bed very comfortable. Only quibble was we couldn’t get door code until we arrived & one light bulb needed replacing. But overall we were very happy & would return. Enjoyed patio & privacy.

The place is beautiful and only steps away from a beautiful spot on the beach. Two of the rooms have a beautiful patio that provides an look into the ocean. The parking was a little bit difficult just because it is street parking and if you go on a crowded day you may have to circle around a couple times to get an open spot. The host was very kind and answered texts very quickly. I would stay here again in the future for sure.

This was my second stay at this property, and it was just as great as the first! The location is unbeatable—less than a 5-minute walk to downtown—but still feels quiet and private. The house was exceptionally clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

We had two families with young kiddos and Kate's place was perfect for our weekend stay. The driveway is a bit narrow, and the street you enter from can be busy due to beach traffic, but it's totally worth the effort. Once you're in the Kate's Airbnb, you feel comfortable and relaxed, with the beach and the ocean visible from the front of the house and the front yard that was perfect for the kiddos to hangout in. Kate was super responsive and incredibly pleasant and made our stay as comfortable as can be. We love visiting Santa Cruz and will definitely keep Kate's beach house on our list of places to stay the next time we're in town!

This is my second time visiting Jesse's home. Everything went super smoothly and I was provided with all necessary information. I love the open floor plan and you can't beat the location. I love his eco friendly approach and all the kitchen accessories he has in order to cook in house. I haven't made it in the hot tub either visit, but hope to do so next time :)

This place was exactly what my family needed for our beach getaway! The layout of the house is so cozy and it felt like a home away from home. The 180’ of ocean views was truly amazing. We watched a pod of humpback whales go back and forth throughout the day and got to watch a feeding frenzy of thousands of birds all from the balcony! We drove 20 minutes to Henry Cowell Redwoods State park and walked around Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz. From the spot we walked to the beach (with all our boogie boards, sand toys, towels, umbrella, etc.), took advantage of Venus’ happy hour and really didn’t need to use our car for two days! This will definitely be a spot we stay at again!

We had a lovely stay at Ken’s beautiful home in Santa Cruz. The location was an easy walk to the beach and a short drive to the Boardwalk. Ken was easy to communicate with. Overall a great spot! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful host and an ideal place in a very quiet neighborhood with friendly and helpful neighbors. The provided area guides and home instructions were extremely helpful and the provided beach supplies were ideal to keep our personal packing nice and light! Would definitely stay here again ⛱️👍🌊

Jerome, Lisa, and Charlotte's home was spectacular. It was the perfect place to stay with my parents while celebrating our son's graduation from UCSC. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting to spend time together and celebrate this important milestone. We spent as much time as we could in their gorgeous yard, which had lots of very comfortable seating. We grilled and ate at the outdoor table (though my dad lobbied to sit in the kitchen to enjoy the stunning view to the ocean from there). We played ping pong and lounged on the decks with incredible views. The kids had a blast in the pool and enjoyed the hot outdoor shower tucked under a tree after. And the neighborhood is lovely to walk around. The space is very private, the surrounding gardens are stunning, their home is extremely comfortable, warm, and welcoming. They had everything we needed for cooking. I wish we could have stayed longer! My whole family, from our 16yo daughter to 82 yo parents highly recommend!

Seriously can’t say enough good about Joel. Friendly, helpful, gave suggestions for local food, clean house, peaceful at night and to top it all off, I missed my flight and he rescheduled for me which was an absolute life saver. Nothing bad to say at all, if you’re looking for a place to stay with someone that’s a great host, he’s your guy. Thankful and satisfied with my decision! Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it! Nice place. Great location, just 2 blocks from beach and close to restaurants. We used the bicycles and boogie boards. Backyard was nice to hangout in, used the Firepit and spa everyday. Kitchen was nice but not quite as stocked as some other places we’ve stayed. Overall was nice and we would rent again.

Erin’s Charming Pleasure Point Stay was perfect for our UCSC Graduation Weekend! The house was spotless, comfortable and updated - exactly like the photos! There were fans and thermostats in each room to fit everyone’s comfort level and lots of windows to bring in the ocean breeze. Beds were comfy and there were lots of extra blankets! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed and more! The backyard was relaxing and my family loved the hot tub and foosball table. We were just a 10 minute walk to Capitola Village so we grabbed chairs from the garage and towels and headed down for a day at the beach! Morning walks to the beach and to the coffee shop were great! We would absolutely stay again!!

Property is Spotless inside and outside. Love how clean the bathrooms are! Kitchen was lovely with the retro feel and easy to find things! Beautiful backyard! Overall, I love the house This place is bright and clean! We will be back!!

This is a really great spot and we would definitely stay here again! Jackie was a great host and the communication was excellent throughout our trip. The beds were nice, the house was clean, and the windows allow plenty of light to come in. The house is also well stocked with plenty of coffee, a variety of cooking and glassware, some and, some spices. The hosts have also prepared the house with games, toys, and small bowls and forks for kids. The backyard is also a really nice to hangout in and has a small yard that could be a great area for kids to run around as well. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. There are also some nice restaurants, grocery stores, and cute shopping areas about a 5-10min drive away. Some areas in Santa Cruz have pretty hard water (including this spot) so if you aren't used to that grabbing some bottled water for your trip might be a good idea. We had a great time and highly recommend this spot!

We felt right at home and had everything we needed for the best weekend. Our favorite part about the house was being able to walk to the beach in just 3 minutes with coffee, pizza and pie right there on her fingertips beautiful location

Megan’s place was perfect for our family. Everything from her being super responsive and accommodating to perfect location, spacious space with cute decor, kitchen has pretty much everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend!

This is my second year renting. Kim’s place works well for my little family. We loved access to boogie boards. Just perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter who tried it for the first time. Also used a couple of beach chairs. I don’t remember them at my past stay.

we are in town for my daughter‘s wedding and used this for myself and staging on day of wedding. I can’t stay enough about Vaquita’s house. The place is awesome right across the street from the beach, walking distance to all amenities, coffee bars, and restaurants. John was super awesome and hospitable and accommodating all deal details about check-in and check out clearly spelled out on the book by the front door the place was clean, almost like it had just been cleaned linens refresh and clean, not overly used ,bathroom amenities were awesome. Can’t say enough about this place. It’s worth every penny that you pay probably even more. You’re literally right next to one of the greatest surfing spots on the West Coast
