We are on Capitol Hill, a short walk to the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress and the National Mall with its iconic memorials, Smithsonian Museums and National Gallery of Art. Half a block away is Eastern Market, an historic indoor food market open 6 days a week. On the weekends it expands with outdoor farm stands and vendors selling crafts and other goods. Within blocks are many restaurants, shops and the Metro. If you need parking, please ask us for a free permit. Thank you!

Bruce and Vania's home was exactly what we needed during our time in DC. Very clean and accommodating, and the location is walking distance to the Green Rail, The Wharf (several food and entertainment options) as well as coffee shops and Nationals Park if you're looking to catch a baseball game. Having access to a washer and dryer was a plus as well as designated parking in front of the rental. As far as hosting goes, Bruce and Vania REALLY went above and beyond with hospitality. Vania's breakfast offerings were unmatched and more fresh compared to any restaurant we've ever dined at, and the kindness she radiated during our conversation will never be forgotten (I should insert here that we are pretty shy and reserved, yet she made us feel right at home). We look forward to staying here again someday because we will be back! Thank you again, Bruce and Vania. We appreciate you both!

Paul’s place is wonderful. I was at first hesitant to stay here bc I prefer having my own place. But I had an excellent stay—I came for work—and I would totally lodge here again. Excellent location and very comfortable, well-appointed home. Paul is a super friendly and cool guy. Easy to talk to and has great recs. I now see why his guests love his place.

Run - do not walk - to book yourself this fabulous place for your stay in D.C. It’s adorable, impeccably clean, wonderfully designed and maintained, and filled with thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay easy, enjoyable, and effortless. We loved the great linens and super comfy beds, lovely bathroom, comfortable living room, in-unit washer and dryer, and well-equipped kitchen stocked with the basics and beyond (three different ways to make coffee… what?!). Jane, Andrew, and Ryne have truly thought of everything to include in the apartment and then some... Postcards and stamps? Check. Laundry detergent? Yep. Bottle of wine at check in? You know it. Their personalized website for guests with instruction videos about the apartment, local recommendations, and more is brilliant and so very useful. For our family of four, this was a perfect spot, and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making our stay so great, Jane, Andrew, and Ryne! You guys are nailing it!

Appreciated Kenneth’s responsiveness throughout, which made an international arrival super easy. If you are bringing two pieces of luggage, the room may be on the smaller side, but it was clean and comfortable and well supplied—and perfectly located for what I needed for this trip. Great value for the DC area!

It was a great location for walking to the Capitol and the surrounding sightseeing must-sees. Our bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The rooms are small, but we didn't spend much time sitting around in our room. The pub was cool but pricey. Our food was just okay, but that could have just been what we ordered. Some of the other things coming out looked better. I would try eating there again if we visit again.
