overall it was a great place to stay! Henok was very responsive and had clear instructions on how to get into the house and your room. it feels more like a micro hotel with a shared bathroom. the walk from the metro was in a bit of a rough area, other than a couple times where men would yell at me from their car there was no issues though. the area around the house was extremely quiet though. the metro is about a 10 minute walk from the house which i appreciated, but it is almost at the end of the blue line, so take that into account when youre planning your commute. the room and bathroom were very clean and i appreciated the mini fridge in the room, the bed was comfortable and the overhead fan was very much appreciated. the room and bathroom had a bit more wear and tear than the photos showed, but not surprising as im sure many people have stayed there. everything was extremely clean though. henok was very responsive and overall a great host. i would stay here again

The host was responsive and attentive and provided just about all of the info we needed during our stay via messages. The place was clean and organized. Though we didnt use them, I appreciated the supplements and pain killers available in the kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were very soft. The stairs are a bit creeky and hollow to walk on, so I hope we did not disturb the other guest when walking through the house. The streets were mostly quiet with a few people intermittently shouting but nothing accessive and we were able to sleep through the night. The metro is just around the block which was helpful. At night walk with caution as with any city or unfamiliar area. The only downside to this location is that you have to travel about 18 minutes to reach a wawa or other restaurants for food after hours so if you plan to stay here, just make a quick stop at the grocery store for late night cravings 🙂. Overall good experience and would recommend.
