Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cape May

The home and host were very welcoming to my small family . The books and toys in the home were a big help in keeping our 1 year old busy and entertained . The close walk to the bay provides nice views and the beach chairs and wagon available in the shed are a big plus and make beach trips more manageable for the little one. House was cute and cozy!

I can’t say enough about Rose Hill Cottage and our host Paula. The cottage was beautiful, spotless, cozy and comfortable. Paula thought of everything and was so kind with all the treats and wine she left us. The outside space is a spectacular bonus! Comfort and fun and games provided. We loved this place so much, we didn’t want to leave! Quick 10 min trip to Cape May. It was a holiday weekend, so it was nice to return to a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

We decided last minute to travel over Memorial Day weekend. We were fortunate to find Katie's place open for a few days. She is a very responsive host. Home was very clean and as listed. We were able to bring our dog and found her property to be very dog friendly. Peaceful location just a short walk to the bay. Perfect for small family with pet. Close to all Cape May has to offer.

This place was the perfect base camp for 4 having fun around Cape May! The kitchen, full laundry, and back yard made this a great deal compared to a hotel room. We’d definitely stay again!

Dave’s place was nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve stayed at many an Airbnb and have never had such a pristine experience along with a host that was bending over backwards. I don’t think I waited more than 10 minutes for a response from Dave when I had a question. The location is at the top of cape may with beautiful scenery in the front and total privacy in the back. I can’t encourage people enough to stay here! It was perfect.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! Drew’s place and photos were exactly as pictured. It was the perfect spot to bring our 18-month old and dog which was a plus! The location was excellent - walking distance to the beach (about 5-10 minute walk) and about 10-15 minute walk to Washington Street Mall. We’d definitely stay here again.

This was one of our favorite Cape May visits. The location was close to everything we love to see while in town. We parked our car at the house on our first day, and walked everywhere! Perfect house to just sit back and read or watch a movie on our down time. There are lots of windows that allowed us to enjoy the fresh air on breezy days and nights.

This place was amazing! The decor was wonderful, so cool and eclectic! My aunt, cousin, and I stayed for 3 nights and were happy and comfortable, it was a fun girls trip. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and very clean. Bathrooms were super cool and both had walk in showers. The location was great, only a few minutes from downtown Cape May. My cousin enjoyed staying in the backyard bedroom, its was very cute an comfy. We also enjoyed the firepit in the evenings. Teresa had a great guidebook, and we took her up on several of her suggestions. Cape May is a fun town and the beautiful Victorian homes are not to be missed. I suggest the Historic trolley tour. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and would 100% stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Bill's place. the space was clean and comfortable. We came down to do Christmas stuff in Cape May and Ocean City and Bill even put up a mini tree for us. So thoughtful! We will definitely stay again.

Rocco was excellent! The water views are great, and so close to lots of fun! Very peaceful and enjoyable. Will certainly stay again!

Our second visit to Tim and Cathy’s condo…love it! We hope to go next year again and stay there..I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice peaceful area yet not far from the boardwalk. The bay is only half block away in other direction also…great vacation! I thank them for sharing and all the hard work that goes into keeping a rental so nice and up to date.

Absolutely loved our stay at Paul’s place and will be looking to go back the next time we’re in town. Clean, close to everything, and peaceful; it was everything Paul described and more! Plus, the bikes were so handy to cruise around town :) Thank you Paul!

My wife and I stayed for a weekend and enjoyed our stay very much! Quiet location just outside the more busy wildwood boardwalk area yet still close and walkable to everything around. Great space, clean and comfortable! Really loved the bay that was just steps from our door!

We loved staying here! We had everything we needed and the studio was in a great location- close to shops, restaurants, and the beach! The beach chairs and towels really came in handy! Julie was very responsive and we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come again!🩷🌊☀️

We loved staying at Steve and Louise's beautiful property. Watching the sun rise and set over the tidal wetlands was magical, and there were many amazing birds. The fenced yard was great for our dog. The interior had good natural light, which is unusual for a ground floor unit with a balcony over it. The bed was extremely comfortable. Steve was very nice, and made sure to check on us frequently to see if we needed anything, and stopped by to chat a number of times. As listed, the indoor shower is small but the outdoor shower is much larger. I used the outdoor shower and the water pressure was great. It might be difficult for someone elderly or with mobility disabilities because it's a little hard to balance on the sloped slippery wood. The location is perfect - between Stone Harbor and Cape May Courthouse so it is convenient for necessities, but easy to get to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful time in Cape May with our family of four ! Terry and Bob are so friendly and helpful. They were both sweet to our two kids (ages 7 and 10) and there were so many games and books for the kids to play with at the house. The apartment was perfect for us. Very comfortable, clean, in a beautiful neighborhood and walkable to both the beach and great restaurants. Highly recommend it! We hope to be back soon

Umi and Bill were wonderful hosts. Everything was exactly as described, great communication, very clear instructions, lots of recommendations, a full book layed out very clearly with sections of anything you would want to know about the area, what to do, restaurants they recommended. The unit was pristine, had everything we could have needed & then some and offered an amazing view of the ocean. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at any of Umi and Bill's properties in the future and I look forward to staying with them again!

I made last-minute plans for Memorial Day weekend and took a chance, one that I am glad I made! Bonnie was more than accommodating, making sure I got the most of my stay. The location was perfect (the beach, shops, and restaurants were right there!) and the rooms and grounds were clean, cozy, and well-kept. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer!

The place was wonderful!! My girls and I had a lot of fun, we couldn’t get enough of the view! Definitely worth going again :)

Absolute perfect spot for a couples getaway! The place was just as described, extremely clean and had all the necessary amenities! The location could not have been more perfect to walk to almost anything you want in Cape May!

great third time stay with two kids, walkable to restaurants and the bay beach, 10 min drive to cape henlopen Herring Point beach which is spectacular. loads of bike trails and host has free bikes to use!

We have stayed here multiple times over the past few years. We really love this unit and how close it is to all that Cape May has to offer. We highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Amazing! We had a last minute birthday party invitation and decided to make a weekend out of it. Frank's place was available and exactly in the area we needed. His listing was filled with detail and nothing was left a surprise. The apartment was perfect! Clean, bright and cheerful, and the perfect space for our family for the weekend. The breeze from the windows in the livingroom made it the perfect beach getaway! I would definitely book again. Side note: the kitchen was a bit small, so if you were looking for a place to do big summer dinners or baking lol, this might not fit. Luckily, i neither needed to cook, or have the skill to. We were all more than comfortable and so happy with how close to everything we were. The attached yard was a great place to read my kindle and drink my coffee in the quiet mornings. Thank you for such a great weekend, not having to stress about accommodations left us free to enjoy our weekend with our family. Thank you.

We had an awesome time at Carrie's place. The house was cozy and located in a prime location - right near the beach and downtown area. I will definitely be back!
