From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Daniela’s place - it was clean, had stunning views and was quick access to Pisa, Florence & Siena. Beautiful pool and lovely terrace with amazing views and sunsets. The kitchen also had everything we needed, including local olive oil and pasta & local wine as a welcoming gift. Daniela went above and beyond providing us with lilos and a pump for the pool too. Overall, 10/10 stay!

Like the other guests, we were completely satisfied and were incredibly warmly welcomed. It's a wonderful family. The accommodation had everything you need to live well and for a nice vacation. We got great tips for activities and felt totally comfortable. Francesco is a very charming, helpful host, with whom we had nice conversations. We especially liked the care for children. Our child loved the toys provided, the large garden and the cats. Very clear recommendation.

After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. We are delighted with this holiday at Vanda's, where the location of the accommodation allows easy access to many sites to visit in the area. The house is quiet and well equipped. The garden offers a very green and shaded relaxation area. Vanda is an eminently friendly and discreet host who takes care of her visitors and who succeeds, despite language difficulties, in establishing a benevolent climate. We were privileged to have been able to meet him and we will have great memories of our stay.

Nice place, beautiful garden with two sweet cats. The view is beautiful, lots of birds flying overhead. The cottage has a nice authentic Italian look, with matching furniture. Daniele was a good host; very accessible and friendly. You need a car for shopping and restaurants, walking along the road is not pleasant everywhere.

It was a great beautiful experience and if we were to travel to Lucca again. Then we would immediately know where to book something.

We were very warmly welcomed by Marinella and felt right at home. She gave us great tips on what to do in the area – that was super helpful! The place is beautifully situated, with a breathtaking view that has delighted you every day. If anything came up, Marinella was immediately on hand and took care of herself lovingly. We had a great time . Anita is a very attentive host, the accommodation is located in a beautiful green park in a quiet area with a swimming pool available, a real plus. Great place, great hosts, great location. The photos and information provided is exactly as the hosts describe. All essentials were provided and the personal details were lovely. Check in/out was easy, communication was great, my only issue is that I wish we were staying longer. Highly recommend! Oh and the homemade pie waiting for us when we arrived was delicious!

We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed this large, well appointed two story apartment. The place was warm and inviting and was an authentic home to be a unique setting. My family enjoyed the surroundings and there was plenty of restaurants to close from. Be prepared to tackle the 52 steps to the apartment door which my 90 year old mother managed twice a day. Keeps you healthy.

Lucca has a lot to offer but is also a great location to catch a train and visit many wonderful destinations like Pisa and Cinque Terre.

This is a gem in the heart of Lucca. The apartment is super comfortable and has excellent views of rooftops and towers. The location is excellent closed to all worthy sites in Lucca yet very quiet and peaceful. The building has a great elevator which is a big plus given the top floor location. Salvatore is a great host, very responsive, and accommodating. I would love to return to Salvatore’s place for a longer stay sometime in the future.

Every corner of this house tells a story, you feel spoiled by the design and comfort, it won't take long until you'll feel like home. Easy to discover the surroundings (seaside, Pisa and Lucca are at 30 min, Firenze at 40 min, Montecarlo, Vinci, Collodi - nearer), Gaia will give you local tips and will help you with everything. Highly recommended for medium and long stays.

The apartment is located next to the train station, just 1 mins walk. Easy to travel around in Tuscany via train. The apartment is clean and very homely. Liliana welcomed us in person and showed us about the apartment. She is very nice and kind, also recommended some restaurants to us. Montecatini Terme is a very beautiful and relaxing town, we wished we can spend more days in the apartment and the town. Definitely, I will stay here again when I come back next time.

This place is a dream. Luciano is a fabulous host. Friendly and very helpful. Fully remodeled for being inside ancient think wall structure. Location is a historian’s dream. Shutters over all windows really close out the sound at night. New modern kitchen fully stocked. Great location with bedroom French door style windows opening to overlook the Anfiteatro. We spent most evenings sitting there with a glass of wine. Great restaurants there too. Had great meals at Old Charlie’s restaurant a number of times. Supermarket 5 min walk. Great local shopping, many piazzas with outdoor cafes. Train station about 15 minutes walk. 1.5 hour ride on train to Firenze, 30 minutes to Pisa, 2 hours by bus to Siena. Lucca is cooler than Firenze with a nice breeze in the afternoon. I am a painter so this is a great location. If the flight from California was not so long, I would come back every year. We Love it here and love Luciano.
