Family-friendly holiday rentals in Capalbio

The villa was absolutely beautiful. My family and I had a wonderful time and would definitely come back. The hosts answered all our questions and helped schedule at home meals, transportation to the airport and tours! The whole place was beautiful and the views were gorgeous! We spent a week here and loved every minute!

This was the finest AirBNB home that we've ever stayed in. Every room was immaculate, the views were incredible (private and among vineyards, you can see for miles), every appliance and fixture seemed new. Everything was anticipated to make the stay perfect.....a refrigerator, bathroom and shower at the beautiful pool, pool towels in each bedroom, etc. As soon as you walk into this house, you are going to go "wow", and for good reason. Francesca came and cooked us a delicious local dinner and did some light grocery shopping for us.....all for an unreasonably LOW fee. We had another chef team come in on another night. We also visited a local winery where we had a fantastic, private wine tasting tour and lunch (Tenuta Vitalonga) and followed that up with touring Orvieto and having dinner at a very unique restaurant (Le Grotte del Funaro). Make sure you have a car or are using a bus/limo service for your transportation, nothing is walkable from this beautiful private house.

Super mooie lokatie en een zeer sfeervol luxe huis met alle gemakken en gezelligheid Vele leuke plekjes in de tuin en dichtbij dorp en strand (10 min rijden) Isolina was erg lief en een erg fijne host. Ontzettende aanrader!

A lovely property in a beautiful area. Sabrina and Antonio were really attentive and kind. Easily accessible by text and also prompt in coming round to solve a problem. Having 3 separate apartments worked well for the extended family and the ground floor was large enough for us to dine together. There are lots of places to visit including many beautiful hill top medieval towns. Antonio and Sabrina were very kind gifting some local Est Est Est wine and a cake for our special birthday. Little unexpected touches like these helped to make it a memorable stay. The weather was not on our side in the middle of April, rain and mist on several days, so it would have been nice to have somewhere inside for us to sit and relax together. A few comfy sofas would have been appreciated by older members of our group. You will not be disappointed with your stay here, no matter the weather!

Bellissimo appartamento, come da foto. Situato in un recentissimo complesso di case che creano quasi un piccolo borgo. Per quanto sia dislocato (il che può essere un plus per chi cerca la tranquillità) a pochi km c'é un piccolo centro con il necessario. Host gentile e disponibile, raccomandata.

Ho trovato L’alloggio di Maria Luisa molto gradevole: ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, piacevole contrasto rustico/lussuoso di molti ambienti. Anche l’ambiente naturale lasciato evolvere senza vistosi interventi umani si lascia apprezzare ma certo è da visitare con un clima più « amichevole «  di quello torrido di questo agosto che ci ha trattenuto da passeggiate nel bosco

What an amazing and beautiful home! We loved our stay here with our family and enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Susanna and Tiziano for my sisters birthday dinner. Gorgeous location, great pool, really fun art all over the entire house that’s been restored but full of character. Plus it’s just 5 mins and your at the hot springs or restaurants. We can’t it to go back!

Das Haus ist sehr schön und rhuig gelegen, in einem sehr guten Zustand und top eingerichtet. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto da Geschäfte, Restaurants und Cafes etwas weiter weg sind. Trotz gemischten Wetterbedingungen hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die schönen Tage waren wir Wandern, Fahrradfahren in der Maremma oder baden am Meer. Das naheliegende Daniel Spöri-Museum ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Bei Regen haben wir in der gut ausgestatteten Küche ausgiebig gekocht und bei Kaminfeuer die gute DVD Musik- und Film-Auswahl genossen. Rundum für uns (5) ein perfekter Kurzurlaub.

We were looking for a villa that had plenty of space for my husband and I with our 3 adult kids and this villa was perfect! We all had our own bedrooms and private bathrooms. The villa was in the idyllic peaceful Tuscan countryside surrounded by rolling hills, wine vineyards and olive trees with distant views of castles. It is absolutely gorgeous! Alessandro, the owner of the villa met us upon check in. The property has been in his family for hundreds if years. He was incredibly kind and generous, leaving an abundant amount of fruit, several bottles of wine from his vineyard and beautiful fresh flowers in every room. He was always available to answer any questions and make recommendations. Anke, the property manager, was excellent and responsive. Promptly answering my questions prior to the trip and proactively giving us wonderful recommendations. Highlights were truffle hunting Il Podere Castle, Umbria Olive oil tour and Banfi Castle wine tasting. Memories to last a lifetime! ❤️

Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato due notti nel Seccatoio delle castagne del Podere di Maggio. Che dire? Un vero paradiso: incastonato in una vallata meravigliosa con il monte Amiata difronte e il bellissimo borgo medievale di Santa Fiora. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio: struttura meravigliosa, ben curata, nei dettagli, una pace impagabile. I padroni di casa sono stati fantastici, ospitali e ci hanno fatto davvero sentire a casa. Insomma tutto perfetto, non manca nulla, ovvio devi amare la vita bucolica come noi ! Unica pecca? Due notti sono state troppo brevi e sicuramente torneremo . Grazie Peter , Rita e dolce Noemi. The view is stunning. The place is very private. Leonardo is very responsive. Definitely worth visiting La Pace, a lovely restaurant 5 mins walk away. 10/10 recommend

Wir haben bei Martina eine kleine Oase gefunden! Die Zeit auf La Retomada war einmalig und wirklich schön. Wir haben uns bei Martina sehr wohl gefühlt, sie hat uns mit allem versorgt, was wir gebraucht haben und hat uns wertvolle Tipps für die Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Dank ihr haben wir viele Bio-Erzeuger besucht und an den schönsten Stränden die Sonne genossen. Der Abschied kam viel zu früh, aber wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We loved our time at Luca's place. We visited Tuscany with our college aged kids. Luca's house was comfortable and welcoming. We went out for a few meals, but also enjoyed preparing foods in the wonderful kitchen. We ate dinners together and played board games on the spacious kitchen table. It was homey. We called it "cucina magica" because all of the foods we cooked came out so perfectly. This is a wonderful home in a lovely setting with hiking trails from the backyard. We spent several mornings at the nearby hot springs. What a treat! Luca was communicative and helpful with all of our questions.

Tolles Anwesen mit einem gigantischen Pool, der täglich gereinigt wurde. Das Haus ist sehr groß und geräumig mit großen Schlafzimmern. In Manciano findet man alles was man braucht. Wir waren schon mehrmals in der Region, allerdings war dieses Haus schon weit ab vom Schuss. Das Haus selbst liegt aber direkt an der Straße zwischen Montemerano und Manciano und ist gut zu erreichen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es hätte für unseren Geschmack ein bisschen sauberer sein können. Vorallem die Küchenutensilien und die Böden. Betten, Handtücher, Bettwäsche war aber sehr ordentlich und sauber. Nach Grosseto oder ans Meer Richtung Castiglione ist schon sehr weit zu fahren. Der direkte Weg Richtung Orbetello ist gut und die Strände da auch sehr schön. Ausflüge kann man viele machen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist Pitigliano.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The location is perfect for exploring Orvieto since everything is within a 15 minute walk. It is located on the main shopping street with lots of restaurants and a Pam food market very close by. The apartment is very clean and beautifully decorated and incorporates interesting architectural details relating to the history of the home. The kitchen was well equipped and had coffee of various kinds which we greatly appreciated. We especially enjoyed the Orvieto Underground tour and hiking the Ring of the cliff trail ( Anello della rupe) which took us about 4 hours with stops at all the points of interest. It is quite hilly in parts, so wear appropriate shoes and bring water and sunscreen. The Etruscan burial grounds (Necropoli etrusca) were definitely worth the short detour off the trail. Lastly, Valerie and Roberta were excellent hosts with timely responses before and during our trip. We would love to stay here again someday!

Carlon ja Paulan majoituskohde on upealla paikalla ja aivan ihana talo kaikkine mukavuuksineen. Isännät ovat erittäin avuliaita ja ystävällisiä. Talosta löytyy kaikki tarvittava usean päivän yöpymiseen. Kaiken kruunaa hieno uima-allas kukkulan päällä luonnon helmassa. Ympäristössä on paljon nähtävää ja koettavaa. Suosittelen käymään ainakin Orvietossa ja Monteleonessa, jotka ovat aivan lyhyen ajomatkan päässä!

Such a wonderful place to stay with our family! The property is spectacular, with all of the amenities one might need and lots of charm. Andrea is an exemplary host. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful house, its' privacy, amazing landscape, comfortable swimming pool, and the warm hospitality.

El lugar es muy lindo y relajante. Ginebra es muy amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. Totalmente recomendable.

Tolle, großzügige Villa mit wunderschönem Pool und Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

We had a wonderful vacation in Anna`s beautiful place. The house was beautiful, clean and homely. Garden was beautiful and private and swimmingpoolarea was excellent. We enjoyed the peaceful environment so much. The view from the hill was amazing. We made several trips to different beautiful toscanian villages and visited also prehistorical museum in Cetona and archeological park in Belverde. In Piazze there is a supermarket Coop, bakery, wine shop and wonderful restaurant. In the restaurant the food was excellent and owners (husband is italian and wife is from Belgium) are very friendly. We had nice talks with them. Anna was so nice, helpful and warm person. We recommend warmly this place for everyone!

Punto forte della camera è la vista panoramica dal terrazzino privato. Camera come in foto. Piccola ma ben strutturata. Fabrizio e Francesco sono stati sempre molto disponibili nel fornire indicazioni e nel dare supporto alle esigenze di check in e check out. Lo Scooter a disposizione degli ospiti è un servizio davvero utile.

I hate to write this review, because I would like to keep that amazing place to myself! It is the ultimate holiday destination with all you may need to relax, enjoy amazing views and experience the nature. Pictures don’t do justice to this amazing apartment with 5 terraces, beautiful interior and all comfort you may need. It’s a real place, filled with art, books, board games and with a fully equipped kitchen. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!
