Family-friendly holiday rentals in Cap-d'Ail

We stayed with Domi for almost a week during our trip to the Côte d'Azur and would have liked to stay longer. The small holiday home is perfectly located to walk to the village, the harbor and the two city beaches. Other beaches are within 10-15 minutes by car. The outdoor kitchen and pool are a dream. We spent most of our time outside and always felt comfortable. Although you live at home with Domi, her husband and her dog, there is plenty of privacy. The hosts are also very warm and helpful. Overall, one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely very well equipped house with a great terrace and beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully designe, maintained and comfortable. TV in both lounge and bedroom. A small kitchen has all you need for preparing meals. Quadruple glazing cuts out traffic noise from the promenade traffic. The view of the sea is stunning with lots of interest from boats of all descriptions from fishing boats to super-yachts. The promenade is used by cyclists, runners, in-line skaters and is also great for walking. We visited the very interesting and beautiful Renoir house, a museum within walking distance from the apartment. Nice, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes are all within easy reach by rail, which we found to be the best transport. Buses stop outside the flat, especially the 41 which takes you into the centre of town where there are frequent street markets and a covered market selliing fresh fish meat and veg. Numerous restaurants, french, italian, asian are all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Peter and Elizabeth Bryant

We a great time at Christophe's place! It was so beautiful and peaceful. There were lots of local restaurants and his wife kindly gave us a recommendation for somewhere to eat seafood. She was especially lovely because she allowed me to practice my limited French! Christophe's son took us out on his boat for snorkeling and exploring the Cote D'Azur- a truly unforgettable experience! Thanks everyone!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Emmanuelle and Philippe's cottage. We sadly ran into some travel issues that reduced our stay to just one night, but it was a wonderful experience. The hosts were very flexible and accommodating with our travel issues and allowed us to store our bags there past checkout - it was so helpful and very kind! Their daughter greeted us with some croissants and lavender when we arrived, which was a very thoughtful gesture after the stress of our flight. The area is so quiet and private, and the pool is lovely with great views. The location of the AirBnB is also great - Vence is a wonderful area that really transports you back in time. We also enjoyed saying hello to Macintosh and Prunelle! :) Overall, a wonderful stay with wonderful hosts - I would recommend to anyone!

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved swimming in the pool to cool off after sightseeing in the area. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils to cook in the outdoor kitchen. The setting is beautiful with a fantastic garden with interesting plants and flowers and a view of Nice and the sea on a clear day.

Sylvie welcomed us very nicely even though we were four hours late. We immediately felt comfortable in the very pretty garden, which was made and cared for with love. The apartment, which is very stylish and spiritually furnished, includes everything you need or could need. We were happy to use the spa, especially in the blazing sun as it is in the house and offers a very nice view. A private parking space in the quiet, private location completes the pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

The independent accommodation is very well equipped and is located in the heights of Villefranche sur Mer. Beatrice and Bertrand welcomed us very warmly and did everything to facilitate our stay. We enjoyed the tranquility of the garden and the comfort of the house. The best part is having 2 independent bedrooms with their own bathrooms. We stayed there with German friends and we hope to be able to return with other friends.

Our stay at Florence’s was beautiful. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, thoughtfully decorated, bright, and comfortable. Florence and her friend who welcomed us were exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

This place is such a gem. It’s spacious and well-appointed with everything you could need for your stay. It would be very comfortable for a long term stay, too. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning perfect, and it’s a peaceful and private location. The apartment itself has so much personality and charm. Edith was incredibly responsive and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Can’t recommend enough!

Dear Frederique and dear Olivier, we already miss your beautiful and characterful apartment! Eight days of Nice seemed to us for a long time, but were far too short. We would like to immerse ourselves in the exciting and friendly neighborhood and the amazing architecture of the city for much longer. And walking on the water, sitting on the beach with a glass of wine, enjoying the good food in small restaurants... Nice will definitely see us again and if we are lucky, also your apartment :) Thank you both for always fast and accurate communication and Olivier for picking up at the tram station, for the suitcase service in the stairwell(!!) and the bottle of rosé to welcome you. Wow !! Quite simply the best apartment we’ve ever had on AIR BnB 👌 perfect in every way and right in the heart of the old town, attractions, shops, daily market and restaurants . Perfect view of the full Promenade from the beautiful balcony !!! And to top it all off Eileen and Connie were the perfect hosts and communication was fantastic!! Frederic’s place was much bigger than expected. Very close to the beach, restaurants, train station and supermarkets. Plus, it had air conditioning which was so good given how hot it was in Menton. Frederic gave clear instructions, met us at the apartment to show us around and was very friendly. Would happily stay there again.

Renaud’s place was the perfect retreat! When we weren’t hiking the nearby trails, we spent hours in Renaud’s garden just soaking up the view. We loved watching the sun go by and seeing the fireflies and bats come out at night. A perfect place to appreciate the Maritime Alps!

I cannot describe in words how beautiful and amazing our stay was, but I will try. The location: Beautiful place. House located uphill but there are buses from the centre (close to the beach) that leaves you close to the house. We just walked uphill each day and cooled off in the pool later ;) Sergia was kind enough to offer picking us up from the centre a few times too but the walk is quite nice. The house: Exactly as described and as in pictures. Serene garden, cute pool, well stocked kitchen and cozy interiors. This villa comes with a terrace with a sea view, a beautiful front garden. The other villa has a slightly larger front garden. Since no one was in the other villa, Sergia let us go in there as well. There is a common garden out front with the pool. Everything was beautiful and cozy. The hosts: Sergia and Orso were so kind, I cannot explain it. Sergia baked us some cake and cut us some fruit. Because we were late to get there, Orso even went grocery shopping for us.

Erwin and Liliane are very friendly hosts, they live ‘next door’ but never intruded on our privacy. They were very helpful when we asked about anything (how to work the gas plancha, which villages to visit) The view is absolutely stunning. We had a large terrace plus the pool area to admire it from and of course the pool itself which I used every day. The area is a mix of busy coastal towns and quieter mountain scenery and villages. Great restaurant nearby. The apartment itself is a little old fashioned in places, but it had everything we needed. We were very happy there. Thank you Liliane and Erwin!

The most beautiful property! Such a rare opportunity to find a place like this, truly oceanfront with an abundance of serene outdoor space, pool, grill, etc. all to ourselves. And a big thank you to Ksenia for being such an incredible host.

Functional and atypical accommodation. Its location is ideal. The city center is within walking distance (about 30 min). The situation on the height, the surrounding greenery, the calm as well as the sea view are great. Everything was perfect. Very friendly and available hosts.

Delphine made us feel right at home! We enjoyed eating breakfast in the beautiful cottage and swimming in the pool. The property was safe, secure, and quiet. Air conditioning is quite a rare amenity in the region. Excellent proximity to public transport made it an ideal jumping off point for exploring the Rivera!

We have had a wonderful stay at Philippe’s home. The house was beautiful and particularly suitable for our family stay with a small baby. He was very accommodating answering any queries promptly. The information instructions provided were very detailed and helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful as the weather was hot and the air conditioning was very welcome. We were a group of six and the house was very spacious with plenty of room for three couples and a baby. We would like to thank Philippe for hosting us. We have wonderful memories of a lovely holiday at Cagnes sur Mer.

Chrystelle was very approachable throughout, from booking, through our stay until our leaving. The place is beautiful, so is the whole property very well taken care of. The chapel lacks nothing, was spotless and the guests await a proper folder with detailed information about Grasse. Chrystelle is very warm, sophisticated and a respectful host. Yves is a lovely man and a gracious host. He is genuinely concerned that his guests are having a great time and he really looks to help achieve this. The pool is so nice and Yves really ensures people can enjoy it in peace and privacy. Strongly recommend to those wanting a base on the French Riviera!
