Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Caniçal

The accommodation was beautifully located in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also found the private parking lot great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. Manny and his son met us in the evening to welcome us to the apartment and run through the equipment and everything that we might need over our stay. The apartment was a ' breath of fresh air'...quiet and cool with the fantastic balcony....but less than 2 minutes to all the places of interest shops bars etc .. Ir was my first Airbnb abroad and others will have a lot to live up to! Manny checked in...but gave us privacy and the chance to unwind...canm0t recommended it too highly!

Wonderful place to stay, balcony was nice to sit and take in the beautiful ocean view! We had a larger vehicle, parking was tight because of that but Adriana and Dusan’s offered alternatives. Would definitely recommend!

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

Review from 2 Moms with their 2 18 year old daughters. So 4 guests in total. Everything was just fantastic. We loved our stay. Valdemar was very accommodating as we had to make a few changes last minute here and there. His father met my friend to check in and he was lovely. Brought lots of potatoes and avocados from his garden( yummy)!!! Also another tray of goodies for us as well left on the table. Apartment is very roomy, love the full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Bakery downstairs at entrance to apartment was amazing!!!! Lots of wonderful recommendations from Valdemar in each city for restaurants and things to do. Wanted to stay longer!!! Valdemar was also very accommodating with our later check out. Only small issue I had was the bed was a little hard for me personally but I still had a great stay and slept good. Felt that all 3 hosts were available to us to ask any questions and help with whatever they could. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

I recommend it without fail, for us the location was perfect 7 minutes from the airport for our flight which was leaving very early! The sound of the planes didn't bother us at all. Also, the host left us some local products to taste! Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying in Felipe’s place! He was very helpful and communicated great with us! He also left lots of fruit for us when we checked in! The place was fully stocked with many things that we would need during our stay. It is in a perfect location and you can walk to the town easily. We would love to come back!

Very nice and cozy place, we really loved the amazing view ! The house itself was very charming, and we did not have any trouble for parking the car. Although it is close to the airport, the sound of the planes did not bother us at all. Finally, the island is pretty small so almost everything is accessible by car within an hour or two so totally worth it !

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

A cosy modern house in a great location for walks in the mountains

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

All was good, like was presented and what we expected. The place was quiet, further from the center, but that wasn't a problem. We can only recommend.

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

The accommodation convinces with the fantastic view - at breakfast and dinner we enjoyed the view very much! Unfortunately, the nearby main street is louder than expected. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need, especially the washing machine we were very happy to use during our longer stay, in the kitchen you can also cook a little more extensively. The apartment is attractively furnished, but in some places it is a bit outdated. The apartment is outside the city, you should definitely have a rental car, but you can reach some great hiking starting points by car a little faster.

The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation.
