Apartment holiday rentals in Canelas

By far one of the nicest 1-BR Airbnb's we've stayed at. If you like contemporary architecture, lots of space, good natural light and an uncluttered apartment, this is the perfect spot for one or two people in Porto. Very central and touristy location, but the area is great to easily walk to restaurants, along the river or a metro ride across town. Comfortable bed in the back of the apartment, so it's a nice place to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with nice tableware, a and a nice eating area. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Brilliant place to stay, great communication with the hosts, the air bnb was clean, tidy and the balcony was a lovely touch, worth noting the balcony only gets the sun during the morning/midday but this didn’t affect us. Little to no noise, the perfect base to explore Porto as everything is within 10/20 mins walking distance, would highly recommend 😊

Very good and beautiful spacious and pleasant accommodation, for me I found the place peaceful. Very functional. Easy parking space. In short, like in a cocoon, I loved staying there. A PRIVAT

Very nice appartement in a nice neighbourhood next to Porto. Perfect tot combine some time at the beach & explore the city centre of Porto.

I stayed for 3 nights from the 5th of June 25 It wasn't a self check-in, but one of the hosts came and gave me the key and explained the house.(You don't have to do it, and I think self-check-in would have been comfortable for both of us...) The view was the best. The house was spacious, there were no bugs, it was clean, and the view of the Dowoo River was the best, so even if I didn't go to Moru Park, the view of the accommodation was good!! If I visit Porto again, it was a place to stay again. The interior of the house was nice, clean, and there were almost no bugs (maybe because we opened the window, we caught 2-3 mosquitoes and 1-3 flies, but we were very satisfied because there were no crawling bugs) and there was an elevator, and it was a place I wanted to come again. However, to mention the shortcomings in the accommodation description, it seems that there is no air conditioner (there are 2 fans instead), there are about 30 stairs to the first floor with an elevator, and the bed is very slightly stiff. It seems to be an Ikea product. There was a washing machine, but it took more than 2 hours and drying took about 2 hours.(I didn't use it because I saw the water stains..haha) But despite that, considering the location view and cleanliness, I will stay again if I come next time. Eduardo and Elisabete were great comunicators as well as flexible for our arrival. They settled us in and felt very welcoming. The apartment itself was ideal for us, situated in a great place near to amenities. It was clean and modern, and included A/C which was much appreciated at this time of the year. The inside of the apartment block is also modern and clean with a lift to floors. Although busy outside at times during the day, we were not aware of noise once inside. We would highly recommend this apartment. In addition we would like to thank Eduardo and Elisabete for making us welcome, sharing tips for eating etc and ensuring we were comfortable and had a great stay. Hopefully we can go back someday soon and stay again.

Extraordinary experience!!! We could not have asked for more. From our first booking, Isabel communicated welcoming warmth. She was not only our host, but also our tour guide service. She arranged for airport transport, greeted us at the door and gave us a personal introduction to Porto. Through her recommendations, we booked a wonderful walking tour of the city and a magical full day excursion to the Duoro Valley. The carafe of port on the kitchen table was the icing on the cake. Isabel truly loves her city and her country and her enthusiasm made us feel so very welcome. We cannot give this experience any higher praise than to say we WILL return.

Absolutely worth it for the view! It’s incredible. It’s also well located, right next to the bridge for easy access to Porto. Definitely recommend!

Staying at Filipa’s was a highlight of our trip to Porto. In the lovely, very comfortable apartment looking out on the Douro with a balcony was dreamy. The windows closed tightly blocking all sound so any time day or night we need quiet to sleep or think we had it. If we come back to Porto we’ll go right back to Filipa’s apartment. So wonderful to stay in the historic district with easy access to all of Porto. Be sure to savor the welcome glass of port with their amazing chocolate mousse. Delicious!

Julio was amazing. From the moment we arrived until the last minute, it was amazing! The apartment is very well located, clean and everything is as indicated. I recommend it 100%.

Excellent stay in Porto. Ground floor apartment close to metro, supermarket and excellent cafe at the top corner of the road for coffee/breakfast/lunch. Apartment was well-placed for easy walk into central Porto, everything was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was appreciated. Communications excellent.

Stunning apartment. We had a lovely time. Perfect location, very comfortable and clean. I also have to mention it is on a very busy street but you would never know because it is very quiet in the apartment when the balcony doors or closed.

Luisa's place is a beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a quiet part of Espinho, within easy walking distance of the beach and commercial center. Luisa was very responsive, and her friend Helena, who checked us in, was charming and extremely obliging (including my meeting us after we checked out so that we could pick up something that we left behind). All in all, a lovely place that I'd happily stay in again.

The place was one staircase up from the elevator but stairs were easy to navigate. The place is very modern with two patios that were very private. Jessica was very helpful and responsive. Was in a good location and enjoyed our stay in Porto.

Very nice place with perfect location in Gaia . Beautiful apartment with ocean view , kind host , nice people everywhere . The seafood around the river was extremely tasty .

We had a great extended stay at Joaquim's aparment. It is well-furnished and comfortable, and in a great location. There is a quiet green space, well-kept, across the street, leading to a major mall and soccer stadium. Worked well for us! Thanks Joaquim!

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.

absolutely perfect location in Porto for a first time visitor. we were on the very top floor (unit 6) and barely heard any other guests. very clean apartment with just what we needed for a short stay. thank you for the easy check in instructions! my only feedback for the hosts: we wished the hot tub was available passed 2030 — we sadly did not get to enjoy it due to our short trip. my rec for those looking to book: try a unit on a lower floor if you have large suitcases as it was difficult to lug ours all the way to the top (ended a long trip in morocco here so this was totally our own doing!) otherwise would definitely stay here again. Thank you Porto!

Very spacious and clean unit, friendly hosts, Porto was much better than I expected, beats Lisbon. 100% walkable to tourists attractions, great restaurants, stores, markets and so on. I would have loved to spend more time there.
